Several times lately there will be 3 or 4 people working behind the counter. I know you may have to complete a task before you can take my order but is it too much to ask for someone to at least say I will be right with you? Absolutely no customer service and I find it puts me in a bad mood! I always say please and thank you and never let there lack of manners show that it bothers me but I think people can do better! We've been to others, lots of others since we travel and the departments are usually laid out in a more logical fashion, but this one just seemed a bit backwards. The checkout section was even kind of strange, packed into a small space by an exit. It was extremely hot in there too. The employee was very nice and helpful. I can't say too much because it's Wal-Mart. It's not my first choice of stores to go to, but if you know what you are looking for, then it's fine. Just be prepared to search the store due to the confusing layout.

The salesgirl said she could help me, then inspected the item, and then started helping another customer. Nothing said to me at all. I waited and waited and finally another clerk came over and said they could t accept the return because it looked like it had been used. Well, of course it had been used; how else was I to know that it didn't work!?!?? I said "okay" and they just stood there. They finally went over and put the item back in the box so I could take it back. The first salesgirl should've told me right off that they wouldn't take it back instead of ignoring the issue and going about helping someone else. They should've taken the item back. I ordered it online, picked up in store, and it said it was returnable. I saw some cute things on my way in this morning that I meant to buy after my return. Not only did I not buy those things, I won't be back and I won't purchase from Belk again. Nor will I recommend it to anyone. Shameful service. AVOID!!!

I got an oil change at the oil and tire center. Afterwards I noticed my car was ticking. After…read moreletting a mechanic check my car with me standing right beside him the first thing he check was to see if I had enough oil in it. He pulled the stick out and asked me when did I get my oil change and I told him about three weeks earlier. He looked at the stick wiped it off and reinserted it and looked again in shock. The stick showed there was a whole quart and a half of EXTRA oil in my car. He immediately told me to take my car back to Walmart and have them drain the excess out!! I took it back and they did drain it out. They never apologized or anything. Just said your car is ready. It was check as soon as I got home to see if the oil was where it was suppose to be!! I will never go back again. I'm telling everyone to please check your cars after getting oil changed at Walmart. This was at the Covington, Tennessee store!!! I should have alerted the management team. They got me in and out because I demanded to have it done NOW!!!.

But it was so stinking hot that I decided to get the Walmart Pit Crew oil change yesterday. By the time I did a little shopping, it was done. Good grade (not recycled) Quaker State, new filter, etc. It came to less than $22 including tax. If I'd done it myself, it would have cost me $26 and change. Am I ever again going to pay an extra $4 to lie on a hot driveway and do it myself? I think not.

Need camping supplies, or horse treats? They have stuff for your home, yard, pets, and farm. What gets me, though, is the clothes. They have more Wrangler jeans than I've seen anywhere else, and Muck boots and camouflage. But they also have stuff that's more mainstream, including Columbia and Merrell. And if I need a cowboy hat, I know where to go. The only problem I have is a funny one. I bought a clearance fleece at the end of April, and I wanted to wear it on the plane home. I couldn't, though, because it smelled like Stockdale's!
