So I saw a dog on the animal league of green valley website and called to communicate about it. They were very nice on the phone and their recommendation was to come during their open hours. Which I did. Gregory was the volunteer that worked with me to meet lots of dogs. He was nice and professional. They treat the dogs well and it looks good from that perspective. Yes they ask a lot of questions but I don't see that as a problem. They want the dogs to go to proper owners, when a dog goes to a good home they are less likely to return. Wow they don't want the dog to be off leash... cause we have coyotes that will eat that dog. Hello. And I train my dogs very well and never let them off leash. They spay/neuter, give shots and start to try to train them. The welcome bag was some food, toys, a blanket, leash, and collar. Amazing experience, when I am ready for another( hopefully not a long time) id go there again. And I live in Tucson, worth the drive.

As soon as I walked in, their computer system was down and the overall vibe wasn't welcoming. I tried to explain that this was Chloe's first appointment and that I had her rabies certificate, but I felt dismissed. A manager (or someone in charge) took me back to an office, and I had to re-show the rabies paperwork again. They also couldn't give me a clear timeframe for how long the grooming would take, yet Chloe was ready within about two hours--so the uncertainty felt unnecessary and unorganized. When I came back to pick Chloe up, I was told I had to pay before I could take her, which already made me uneasy. Then, during checkout, they triple-charged me for the grooming appointment. I caught it and pointed it out immediately, and they said they needed help because their barcode/computer system "wasn't the best." That's not something a customer should have to worry about. The worst part: after bringing Chloe home, I noticed she had a gash between her nose and another wound in her ear. No one mentioned any injury to me at pickup. The wounds were significant enough that I had to treat them right away to prevent infection. If an injury happens, owners deserve to be told--immediately and clearly. I also contacted Pet Supplies through their customer portal afterward and never heard back, which is why I'm posting this review now. Between the cold attitude, disorganization, billing error, and the fact that my dog left with untreated/unreported injuries, I won't be returning--and I would not recommend bringing your pets here.

My girl is deathly afraid of baths. She will literally disassociate and shake with fear, then all 60 lbs of her will try to escape the tub. Even if it means breaking her neck doing so. It's usually a two person job, but I had gone solo today and really needed help. The two guys working were incredibly kind, easygoing, and so helpful. I was embarrassed to ask for so much assistance getting her in and out of the tub but they provided excellent customer service- did not make me feel like I was asking too much ever. Also, the vibe of the place is GREAT. My girl was able to settle into her bath pretty quickly actually. You know it's a calming place when you overhear other customers coming in saying "I've never been here so sorry if my dog barks a lot" and there are no doggo barks or whines. There's music playing in the back at a good volume; no one is vacuuming or creating extra loud noises; the booths are in sections. I will definitely be back!

I am a first time puppy owner and Cassandra helped me pick out everything I needed before I brought him home. She sent me pictures and videos of him while I prepared my apartment for his arrival. She kept in contact after I brought him home, answering a million and one questions. One month after bringing him home, I have a happy, healthy, well behaved fur baby named Charlie. He is smart and playful, and has slept through the night since the day I got him. Beware giardia in new puppies when brought home from this store. I had to take him to the animal hospital a few days after I got him for diarrhea. My friend who also got her puppy from Animal Kingdom said the same thing happened to her. Overall, I had a great experience at Animal Kingdom! Everyone was super friendly and helpful.

We have been moving heaven and earth to try to find a harness that properly fits him. We called the shop and spoke with the owner. We described the problem and he said he thought he had one that would fit him. We went down to the shop and the owner patiently went through the options with us until we found one that fit. It was made in America and uses astronaut suit fabric so it stays cool in the summer. The shop is full of delightful options, including top end dog food, fish based treats, honey bully sticks and even has shoes that will cool your dog in the summertime. We are definitely coming back to this gem of a local establishment. And if you're in the area with your canine, I highly recommend you check it out. Five paw review!

I obviously go to this tractor supply quite a few times a year. This is my location for getting…read morepropane. There have been countless times I've encountered when I go to get propane. They always give me an excuse that the machine is not working. It almost seems like the McDonald's ice cream machine excuse. today I went at 5:25 and one of the lot attendants came up and said machine wasn't working after telling me that somebody would be there to help me. They were all busy working out there on the lot doing something so I kind of got the feeling that because they weee busy and it was close to the time they shut down propane at 6 PM that they just went ahead and told me it didn't work so they wouldn't have to hassle with it. So, I know machines malfunction, things happen, I'm in a business as well. I completely understand, but it just happens too many times at this tractor supply conveniently.
