We stumbled across this shop on our walk around Madison. We ended up getting lots of dog treats since the shop owner told us that it wouldn't go bad. Everything was so cute and looked delicious. I wished that I could have bought more but it wouldn't fit in our suitcase. The owner and worker were both really friendly and I wished that we had a nice dog bakery that had reasonably priced treats in Hawaii! There were other usual pet items but what really caught my eye was the dog bakery items. There were so many different treats that were available that it was neat looking at all of them. I'll be back! PS. Side note this place takes credit cards... it's always nice to know that even when you're in small town Indiana, you can find a place that takes credit cards!

I went in on a weekday (mid-afternoon) to inquire about changing one gallon of paint I previously…read morebought to a different color. I had no idea it was possible but it was. There was no charge for the remix which made me a very happy painter! The store in La Grange could use a few more hands on deck as the line was long with only one (super nice and helpful) guy handling everything on his own. Professional painters were ordering supplies while amateurs like myself were asking for color-matching and new colors. Sherwin Williams paint is a good paint. It's a bit pricey for everyday painting but, I'm repainting the entire interior of my home, so I'm willing to pay more for the paint and the advice.

I used to drive to St. Matthews to get my PP, so I'm super happy to know about this location. This store is very clean and organized, and I even took my 3 year old - no issues (although I'm sure they'd prefer us to keep our little ones at home ;-). 5 star service!

Big Lots in Madison has some of the nicest employees. They introduced themselves, ask if I needed…read morehelp, and I've even been offered a cart when I don't have one. They have some of the cutest and unusual holiday decorations, especially for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. I rarely go to the furniture area, but I walked through recently. I was really surprised at how nice the furniture is. I was asked if I needed help and was even given info about payment options, etc. If you haven't been, it's worth a stop.

They were…read morevery helpful telling us about the store and how they started and let us know that everything in the store was $5. Also if you purchased 4 items you got a fifth item for free! So that is what I did. Funny we were in town for the opening of the shop next door and we knew there were going to be long lines for it and we would be in line approximately 6 hours but we failed to bring a chair! I purchased 2 dining room chairs from these gals for, you guessed it, $5 each and we sat on those chairs for the entire time we waited in line. I purchased 4 clothing items and my 5th free item I ended up with was 5 pairs of earrings as they were only a $1 each. So fun. With the friendliness of the the owners and the fun items in store, I will definitely be stopping back in the next time I am in Vevay and I am sure I will leave there with another bag of goodies.
