Most of these stores had excellent sales, anywhere between 20% to 70% discounts. Each of the family member found something to buy from the trip. A lot of the walkways had shade. There were plenty of benches to sit, also vending machines for snacks and drinks. The food court was little sad, there were only 3 stores and an adjacent fried chicken place. There were plenty of sitting spots in the dining hall. It was and very clean and modern.

Stores like Anthropologie, lululemon athletica, White House | Black Market, francesca's, etc. It's small, though, so the store selection isn't extensive. There's also two restaurants -- the Brontë Bistro in the bookstore, and Palmers, which, from my wanderings, looked like it was also kind of connected to the lower level of the bookstore. On another note, the scenery is kind of lovely here. There's a pond with ducks in the back of the shopping center that provides a calming retreat from shopping. Palmers' patio is next to the pond, as well. The front of the mall is also very pleasing, with many places to sit and eat/read/chat/write/whatever. Not a bad outdoor mall, but I'll probably only return just for Whole Foods and Joseph Beth Bookstore (which is amazing, by the way).

I was in the deli, getting some meat sliced, a very nice young man was helping me very pleasant very helpful, then a rude human wearing a Walmart vest (name redacted to appease Yelp" walked up. In front of me and another customer she was very rude to the young man that was slicing my meat. Told him in a very rude voice pay attention to what you're doing. You've got other things to be doing, don't be chit chattin. I found this completely unacceptable the young man was slicing my meat asking me how I wanted it being very cordial and providing me with what I considered good service. there was absolutely no reason for her to walk up and interrupt the conversation and be rude. Here's a little advice (name redacted to appease Yelp) if you feel the need to correct an employee why don't you do it in the back instead of doing it in front of customers. It makes the whole situation worse for everyone. And there's no need to be rude, If your having a bad day go home, don't ruin everyone else's day too.

I never signed a contract to do so nor does it say on the door I have to before entering the store so then treating a customer like a criminal is just wrong. This is a very small town with only 2 registers and self checkout open the door girl Clearly saw us check out and still asked "can I see your receipt" and to which I replied "no thank you" and kept walking making the girlfriend laugh all the way to the car. I was not trying to be funny but it's not right or lawful to ask for a ticket.

The best part for me is being close to Waterfront Park to go on walks and lunch hour runs. Down One Bourbon Bar is also part of this space and they have a great happy hour. During events at the waterfront- like Thunder over Louisville- this is a great place to be!

That posting still reads this way as of this writing. This seemed instinctively odd by today's standards for normal retail closing, but we decided to give it a try. We were looking for a place to walk our grandson around and perhaps pick up a treat or two while we were out for the evening. There were still a significant number of cars in the parking lot when we pulled in around 7:40 PM, so we thought perhaps we had stumbled on something. We walked in and immediately had the sense things were winding down and that the posting was probably inaccurate. Having had only a couple of seconds to begin adjusting to reality, we were "greeted" by a sour-faced employee at the information desk who curtly informed us that "this mall closes in 15 minutes". The look on her face and the intonation of her message were effectively "why are you walking in here". I informed her that we were misled by a mistaken posting of hours. She said nothing but again, the look on her face was "That's unfortunate, but just turn around and get out." It must have made her a bit nervous that we took five minutes to stroll down the hall to see what was there. But that sort of unwelcoming attitude is the memory that will stay with me when I think of this mall. Maybe she was having a bad day or maybe she hates her job. Hard to say, but attitudes displayed in interactions have an effect and reflect on an entire business (or collection of businesses in this case). Based on this short interaction, there is definitely an opportunity for improvement. I don't want to cast negativity on everyone whose livelihood derives from this mall for the unfortunate representation of one person on one day, but reviews are based on experiences. And that sort of experience does not need to occur at any time on any day.
