Madison welcomed me to the store and asked if I needed help. She was very nice, professional, and helpful. When I told her what I was looking for, she directed me right to it. Kayla, the manager, also helped me with questions I had about the product. She was very knowledgeable about the products they carry, and she was a really nice, professional manager. Her help gave me confidence in what we were buying. There was also a young man there whose name I did not get, but he smiled and made me feel comfortable. Sometimes in a pet store or any kind of store, I can feel unsure about exactly what we need to buy, but Madison and Kayla gave me great confidence. Wonderful service. Thank you very, very much. The hardest part was actually getting echo in the bathtub! There are harnesses attached to a rail so he couldn't move very much. Staff offered a furminator brush to use before to help get hair off of Echo before we started his bath. Shampoo/conditioner were provided, along with brushes, towels, and other tools. After his bath, Echo was given a treat since he was so well behaved. I'm sure we'll be back when he's ready for another bath and we have time to give him one! Haha!

Do you realize that this IS a pet store? It's GOING to smell. If it didn't smell at all, I would be concerned. Secondly--the heat. YES it's hot in there. It's hot in there for the animals purpose. If you are going in there, surely you have knowledge of reptiles and some fish. They require warmth. With as many heat lamps as these folks have, of course it's going to be fairly warm. Suck it up. Thirdly, the care of the animals. I read several talking about "subpar care" and "horrible living conditions." I would like to address this specifically-- A LOT of the animals in there are SURRENDERED in those conditions TO THE STORE. Imagine finding a rescued animal in bad shape, and you go and give it to them. It's not going to magically revive it's health and feel better. GIVE THEM A BREAK. Most of these reviews seem like they are from people who actually don't know a thing about rescue, surrender, or animals in general. Granted, there are a few things that need to change. Maybe it could be a tad cleaner, but I also try to give them grace that they are indeed trying to keep hundreds of animals alive. Seth was AWESOME. He was so genuinely kind, sweet and friendly. The tanks here were clean and well maintained, with a wonderful selection of fish. Steven or Stephen was busy helping several customers at once while also taking orders out for curbside pickup. Despite being so busy, he patiently helped me select five fish and asked clarifying questions to make sure he caught the specific ones I wanted. He was also very knowledgeable about aquarium sizes and how many fish each tank can safely accommodate. They had lots of adorable Halloween items for fish tanks, dogs, cats, and other pets. I did not catch the cashier's name, but he was friendly and helpful too. I walked in hoping to find healthy fish and left as one very happy camper!

She's quick to provide us help, and she also makes sure we are taken care of if she's with another customer. She's one of their star employees, and I look for her every time I visit this location. As for the location itself, it's pretty decent but has looked a tad bare lately. I think the weather has made it difficult to get live animals in as it's been super cold lately, but typically they have a pretty good stock of things. I wish they would change the lighting in the building. It's a tad eerie, lol.
