After 24 hours with the dog, we decided to return him. His alpha demeanor scared my daughter, and the dog scratched and bit the whole time. Another great experience at Horizon Animal Hospital. Everyone who we interacted with was very kind…read moreand helpful. The vet's assistants answered a lot of my questions and gave me some really helpful tips for my cat and my dog. The vet, Dr. Schuler, is great. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. Explains things in great detail and is always ready to do whatever it takes in order to care for his patients. My dog was scared to be there, and Dr S had no problem getting on the ground to assess and examine my pup so that he didn't stress the dog out more. Highly recommended and worth the drive (we drive over an hour and are happy to do so)

Located in beautiful downtown Wooster, its within walking distance of many other awesome locally owned shops and restaurants. Many of their products are made by local residents with a flair for creativity, creating a truly unique, authentic feel. The staff is friendly and helpful and the store is beautifully arranged, especially during Christmastime when they have their cute window displays. :) But what makes this place truly special is the innovative idea behind its business model. It is a for-profit business that benefits the Wayne County humane society, contributing to an establishment that is perpetually short on resources. I encourage everyone to consider Treasures by the Pound for gift ideas, everyday pet needs, or just a fun surprise for your furry best friend. You will get a high quality product and a fun shopping experience while helping your community to rescue and rehabilitate hundreds of helpless animals. Peace, love, and puppy kisses :)
