Subpar My sister…read moreand I bought an extended facial as a Christmas gift for our mom, and as a former esthetician, I can confidently agree with my mom that this was a subpar experience--certainly not worth the $120 we paid. According to their website, the extended facial is supposed to include everything in the Signature Facial (hot towels, a facial steamer, and a relaxing massage using essential oils that covers the shoulders, hands, arms, and scalp), plus added healing masks, a sinus massage, and a foot massage with a hot towel treatment. However, the reality was far from what was promised. During the facial, the technician suggested my mom skip the foot massage and instead get extra time on the scalp massage, which she agreed to. What a mistake. The scalp massage was a total letdown. The technician spent maybe 5 minutes on the sides and top of my mom's scalp, completely ignoring the back. When my mom asked why no essential oils were used, the technician casually replied that they don't use oils on the scalp. The pressure was so light it barely qualified as a massage--more like a feather brushing across her head. When my mom asked about the pressure, the technician explained that they were "taught in school to save themselves" for career longevity. Really? That's not an acceptable excuse for delivering such a poor service--and certainly not something you should ever say to a client. The facial itself was equally disappointing. Not only did the relaxing massage portion of the facial feel rushed, it felt more like a light rub than a proper massage. The technician also failed to incorporate the facial steamer, which was promised in the Signature Facial description. After applying hot towels to my mom's face, the technician left the room for what felt like 10 minutes, instead of using that time to give a proper massage or incorporate the promised sinus massage. It was clear she wasn't putting in any real effort, doing the bare minimum, and making the entire experience feel like a waste of both time and money. In short, this experience was a huge disappointment. The service was far too costly for what was actually provided. I would never recommend this place to anyone, and we certainly won't be returning.

I did not want to write a bad review, but the treatment I have received left me no choice: Hello, why did you let me leave unhappy when you promised me that you would not do so. I have never been to a spa that did not make any adjustments ever. This is why customers are always given a two week return appointment. You chose to do filler and botox on my lower face. I never asked for it. Then you just let me walk out of your establishment unhappy, this is so very wrong. I gave you almost $2,500, and you just basically let me leave unhappy. I told you the other day I wanted to cry because my friend asked me what was wrong with my face. I can't believe this has happened, with tears rolling down my face I would like to make a complaint about my experience there to the owner, please. I chose this spa, it was near my home and they had a same day availability for me as I was attending a party later that evening and I sincerely wanted some filler and botex. When I arrived I stated I wanted filler in my cheeks and botox in my forehead, 11 lines, and crow's feet. I wanted filler in my cheeks. It was suggested that I should get both in my chin, and the lower sides of my face, I shared I had never had any injections on the lower of my face. I did want botox under my chin for my turkey neck but was told it would not help. I also wanted some injections in my lips but was told they would be bruised and possibly be noticeable at the party I was to attend, so it was suggested to get a lip flip. I never heard of it but I was good with that. In the end my bill was close to $2,500. I had no intention of spending this kind of money, but if it was going to make me look beautiful it would be worth it. I wasn't 100% pleased, but I was hoping that in a few days I would receive more satisfaction in my face. I was told to return in a couple of weeks for the final consultation to see if any adjustments were needed, she did not tell me this but I have been getting injections for over10 years and this is the procedure for every spa I've gone to. A few days ago, I called to complain about wrinkles on both sides of my mouth. I was told to send pictures, and was told it was because of the lip flip to give it more days. A couple of days later I received a call to come in. I went to the appointment this evening, and for over 30 minutes I was told over and over and shown a chart over and over of how little filler I actually received and that I needed more but she was trying to save me money. She acknowledged the wrinkles but said nothing can be done and the botox had to run its course,, in about 4 - 6 weeks. I said I had rather purchased more filler than had the suggested filler and botox placed in my chin. She explained that she did not want to give me more filler in my cheeks because I would have too much swelling, and needed to wait until later. I again said I didn't ask for the lower injections, that I was not the expert, I was just going with what was suggested to me. I knew by now that I was not going to get any adjustments unless I paid more, why should I do this when I was not happy with the outcome of the money I had already spent. She finally said I could put some more botox in the jawline but your neck is going to seem like its pulling. I said we have to do something, she then said it was no guarantee that it would help. No matter what she was not going to make any free adjustments, especially when it came to the filler. I just wanted her to really care. She promised me on the phone that she would not leave me hanging, that she wanted me to be happy, but in the end she didn't care. I am extremely upset. This is bad business. I can't get this terrible treatment out of my mind. To be honest, the reason why it hurts so incredibly badly is because my aunt just passed and left me money and this is what I wanted to do with some on it. I feel so very badly

Evolution "medical" Spa, INFLICTED THIRD DEGREE BURNS on about 20% of my FACE with an E2 fractal…read morelaser. Leaving me, with PERMANENT SCARS that I must protect, from the sun, until the day I die. This occurred 2 months before my wedding in July 2023. I've waited over a year to post a review. I wanted to see if the burns would heal, and they have not. My dermatologist told me I would have these scars for the rest of my life. I've spent $$$$$, caring for these burns and subsequent deep scars. To make a long story short, the owner, and the receptionist, were deceitful and lied throughout this incident denying any fault. When I asked them for the procedure information on file, they handed me a sealed 8x10 envelope and I foolishly waited to open when I got home. The envelope contained the form I filled out prior to procedure. They refused to give me the file, saying that it was much too abstract and difficult for the average person to understand. Days later the owner said that I would have to hire a lawyer to get it. The owner told me, "you'll never be able to sue me", but I never even mentioned the word, "sue". Guilty people become defensive and prepare for a lawsuit. I believe it's my duty to warn and report to any and all in my neighborhood. They do not care about you as a person. Before you take that risk, ask yourself this question. Do I really want to take that chance with my skin? I've posted photos. ONE picture says it al!
