I strongly recommend AVOIDING McAdenville Motors…read more I purchased a truck from them at the end of January, and as of today (March 19th), I'm still dealing with issues they promised to fix -- along with serious new concerns that should have been disclosed upfront. At the time of sale, the passenger-side mirror was broken and held in place with zip ties. The salesman assured me it would be replaced, that the part was already on it's way and they they would have it re-directed to my house. After weeks of waiting and no communication, I followed up only to find out they ordered just a small mirror piece -- not the full assembly we clearly discussed. A full replacement is costing me around $1,200. It gets worse. When I took the truck to a Ford dealership for a recall, they refused to perform the work because the windshield had already been replaced with an aftermarket one -- something that was never disclosed to me. A day or two before taking the truck to the dealer, I noticed water pooling in the passenger-side floorboard. I assumed it might be a clogged A/C drain, but after inspection, the dealer had to pull up the carpet and found sand and water underneath. I've now spent $2,000 out of pocket just to investigate and clean this up -- and I'm left seriously questioning whether this truck has prior flood damage despite having a "clean" Carfax report. Between the failure to follow through on promised repairs, lack of transparency, and the unexpected $3,200 in costs I've had to take on, this has been an incredibly frustrating and concerning experience. If this is how McAdenville Motors treats their customers, I would strongly advise you to take your business elsewhere.

We just bought a pre-owned Jeep from this dealership. We did a lot of online research before making…read morea decision to buy. I looked in NC, TN and even in Georgia and found more than we expected at this dealership. I have made several purchases of RV and automobiles at large dealerships in the past several years in the Charlotte area. I have to be honest I was worried about going to a small dealership but discovered a real gem. They not only had the best price on the Jeep, but they gave us what I wanted for my trade-in without knowing what I was going to accept. No harsh haggling, pressure or guilt applied by anyone. Brian Watts was our sales person and he was wonderful. The sales manager and everyone else we came into contact with were pleasant and you could tell they enjoyed working at this dealership. We were treated with respect, no high pressure sales and were not chased down on the phone to make a purchase. From the moment we arrived at the dealership we had the best car buying experience ever. The entire 2 hours it took from walking in the door to driving home in our "new to us Jeep" was a pleasure. If you are looking for a better experience when buying a car... this is the place. I gave them a five star because they deserved it! Debbi and Chris Carroll, Mooresville, NC

However, there has been a minor hiccup with service. The day we drove the car home, a piece of hardware fell out of the hitch receiver cover on the rear bumper. I called and was told to come back the next day for them to review and fix. I came back, they looked at it, then ordered the part. A day or two later I was looking at the rear winder wiper and something looked wrong with the blade. I touched it and it fell out. Wrong refill. Called and asked about that. Bring it over to look at. Fifty mile round trip to the dealership so I declined. Asked about hardware issue and was told they had no record of it. Asked them to check and get back to me. A week later got a call the part was in. Confusion about whether it was just hardware or a new cover, hopefully with hardware. Suppose to call me back. Still waiting. Buying the car was pleasant and easy and I got a great rate and term on the loan...service, not so much. They do not seem to all be on the same page. If there had been no issues with service they would have gotten five stars, like they did the first time I bought from CarMax.

We found a discrepancy on the website and not only did Jose speak to my wife in a condescending manner about her knowledge of the missing piece in question, but also managed not to return my calls when I kept calling back. Also told us the only solution was to trade out for a whole different vehicle because they made an error even though we drove three hours to this location to purchase the vehicle advertised on the site. Greg who we originally worked with was fantastic- hence the two stars otherwise would avoid.
