I ordered a beer and my wife a margarita. She said her margarita was strong. We decided to share nachos and order guacamole. Both came out perfectly. The nachos came loaded with ground beef, onion, lettuce, black beans, and sour cream. Very good size portion. The guacamole was good. Our server was very friendly and helpful.

Fajita Express makes it easy for you to order their Tex-Mex inspired dishes either from their website or via phone. I also recommend becoming a member of their "club fajita" where, upon your acceptance into the program (free) you will receive 50% on your orders-always! The only thing that isn't great about Fajita Express is the size of their portions. They are disappointingly small, so I suggest keeping that in mind when you want to share their fajita box for 2. Because of this, I recommend ordering 1 Burrito Heavy and 1 Burrito Super (if you are hungry). The cool thing about Fajita Express is that you can choose the different types of toppings so that you can make any burrito or fajita box vegetarian (if you are into that). Overall, a great option when you are craving some burritos or fajitas but too lazy to make them yourself. Keep in mind that delivery is free within the radius of Escuela Militar metro and Baquedano. However, I attended an event recently that was catered by Zócalo and the food and flavors were surprisingly delicious (read: spicy). I knew I needed to find the brick-and-mortar restaurant soon. Note for Americans: Don't come here expecting TexMex. There are no starter chips and salsa, fajitas, or queso dip. There is crema, spicy salsas, black beans, and soft and fluffy corn tortillas. We arrived midday on a Sunday and were happy to see that Zócalo, unlike other nearby restaurants, was actually open. Our server was great and brought us multiple pitchers of margaritas, and we shared the parrallada and some chips with guac and black beans. All told, it was less than $60k clp for all four of us. Not a bad way to spend a Sunday! The only downside was that as the restaurant saw more customers, or server was noticeably less attentive and forgetful. We did not get our waters as ordered or to-go salsa. Nonetheless, it was an excellent experience and we'll definitely be back. If you like Mexican cuisine and decor, give Zócalo a chance. The menu has something for every taste and budget.
