The owner sent me pictures of someone's else trashing stating it was mine. They also sent me a bill that was inaccurate and got upset because I corrected their error. I was told verbally that deposits will be returned within 3 days and later it was emailed stating 7-10 days. When I inquired on day 10 why I hadn't received my deposit, I was given excuses about a family member dying and no one was available. I finally got $200 deposit back today and I inquired about my $50 that was obviously missing. I was told that I left the air on and trash outside. She also provided a picture of the trash. However, my event didn't serve red cups that were clearly seen in the picture. I support black businesses but this one is a SCAM. I would never rent from Skyy Room event hall again and I advise anyone else to be cautious.

It's really due for some repairs and updated. The hallways look like it's been like that since the 80s, the carpet looked old, and the hallways has a weird smell. There are some needed repairs. For example, the A/C unit cover is broken. Also the cleaning is not the best. There are left of hair in the bathroom when I arrived. It's a mediocre experiences. It won't turn me away from Hyatts and I have stayed at other Hyatts that's great. Just this one is not the best, but not bad as well. Breakfast is usual. Eggs, pancakes, pastries, coffee, etc. The staff are also very nice.

MJ's Fun in the Sun Tennis camp is not what I expected. The…read morekids sat for an hour watching movies on ipads because "it was hot". Well, its Memphis in the summer...of course its hot...you don't have a plan for this?!! They did one 30 min or hour session of golf the entire week. They did some tennis games and swimming at the pool (except for Monday because the pool is closed Mondays...which in that case, shouldn't they have the camp Tuesday through Friday instead of Monday through Thursday?) I was hoping my children would get some tennis instruction and progress in their skills to see if they have an aptitude for tennis and enjoy it (so that I could then maybe sign them up for lessons), but the director of the camp told me I should not expect that. You are telling me that in a 4 day, 5 hours a day tennis/sports camp my kids won't learn tennis skills? There were only 8 kids in the camp, how could they not get some repetition and individual instruction?
