I went into toy town with two of my friends and we weren't even in there for 5 minutes and two employees came up to us and started to talk to us about the squishies that they had and i happened to have one in my hand and they started accusing my friend of taking a squishy that she never had in her hand and then they continued to follow us around and i put the squishy i had back onto a shelf and we started to look at different items and they continued to follow us around and so we left. not even after 5 minutes read more

Staff literally harass you the moment you walk in the door. We have opted for other stores that actually allow you to browse products without their non stop redirection & hounding. Sure they have a huge selection of toys but it seems every single time weve been here they are rentless & do not give you a moment to even look at the toys. They are constantly following you & rambling on & on & on about random products in great detail. Amazon has the same variety without the insane harassment & that way you can compare & read about options & actually be able to think without the over the yop intrusive staff. Zero stars read more

We were recently in Toy Town and had an outstanding experience. We weren't expecting much but my husband and I found not only fun new toys for our kids, but we found toys from our youth. The employees were very helpful and funny. You can tell they love their job. I think that stopping by this store is a MUST if you are traveling through Twin Falls. Worth the time! read more

Incredibly friendly staff and wall to wall to ceiling to floor jacked with stuff. In fact, even though I expected the upstairs to be larger, I'm not really sure how you would upgrade a store like this, other than possibly eliminating many duplicates, but that's a minor gripe. This store simply has a toy for every child, of every gender, of every taste and of every age and that's truly saying something and it's nearly all high end. I especially liked their science section, which was both tasteful and very well-done and their educational section, which is most of the store, is also very good. There's a lot going on here, especially visually and most of the staff seems trained on the toys and how they function and notably, how fun they may be. Truly spectacular, in every sense of the word...the only way this could get better is to expand the actual store and carry even more inventory, but even as-is, there's in a league by themselves. read more

This is a great store! Two large floors full of every kind of toy and game imaginable, and the customer service is superb. I bought games I never would have even looked at because I got to actually play them with people. They have an amaaaaazing game section, sports and summer play stuff, a baby section, tons of stuffed animals, legos, baby dolls, doll houses, marble tracks, robots, TONS of other stuff, and the best fudge I've ever eaten. (The chocolate peanut butter is better than a peanut butter cup!) My teenagers walked in thinking they were going to be bored, and that they are way too cool for toys, but after an hour of deliberating about how to best spend their $20, they finally walked out with things they loved. My 9 year old picked out the absolute cutest, softest stuffed cat I have ever seen. My 12 year old picked out a handful of small journals that each is a different color and has a funny monster face on the cover. My 14 year old got herself two pet robot fish, complete with a fish tank, and I bought a couple of great games (Tapple and Tell Tale) and a robot bug, which our cats are crazy about. We were visiting from out of town and had heard good things about this store. Went to find something for our daughter's birthday and planned on making a purchase while there. They have many things out for the kids to test and the store was nearly empty, but our well-behaved girls were asked to get off after just a couple of minutes. We were there a total of 20 minutes and were followed by staff almost the entire time. No time to just browse on our own at all. Constantly asking if we were "still having fun." We felt very pressured and felt like we couldn't let our kids touch anything, even at the test tables. We ended up leaving much sooner than we had hoped and didn't buy anything. Time to rethink the sales techniques. Help customers if they have a question but don't hound them constantly and make them feel bad for bringing kids into a TOY store. Prices were high, but that is typical for a retail store. Great variety and tons to choose from. If you get a chance to look! read more

oooooo boy! This place has all kinds of toys! Our two kids (3 and 1) loved it. The staff here are very friendly and talk to you as you enter and as you walk around. We picked a few learning toys up here and love them. Nothing bad to say about this place. Sometimes it's dead inside and you get the place to yourself. Can't beat it. read more

Two stories of amazing toys. That's not the best part - the best part about this place is the staff encourages the kids to try the toys out. This includes scooters, etc. My kids loved trying the toys out before we bought them, even when a few displays were disrupted by less than accurate driving by my kids. Every once in a while when we make a trip to Twin we stop here for our kiddo to spend gift money. I love the selection of toys, they are super fun and creative, most of which you won't find in other stores. Another thing I like is there are a lot of toys they have out for adults or kids to "test try." The staff seems well educated on the games and toys they have for sale which is helpful if you have questions. However. The staff is extremely pushy when it comes to "checking" on you. Personally, I'm the kind of person that likes to browse without being bugged by employees. Unfortunately the workers there were very zealous about following you around, constantly asking if you are finding things ok, and anytime you stop to casually look at a toy there is a worker there ready to "talk" you into buying it. I don't mind the occasional check-in by workers, but this was just extreme. Literally one minute after I was asked by one worker if I was ok, a second worker would do the same. If I stopped to look at a toy, someone was there to tell me all about how awesome the toy was. I casually picked up a small ball (which was clearly targeted for babies) and an employee led me to the baby toys and tried to tell me how great they were, when I was clearly there with my 7 year old daughter...not a baby. I felt very uncomfortable and pressured. I honestly did not like it one bit, and in fact it discourages me from wanting to go there again. This hasn't been a problem in the past, perhaps they are so zealous due to the holiday season. But regardless, this was much too extreme for my comfort. I hope they tone down their employees a bit on this and ask them to relax. Someone higher up has obviously got them thinking they must sell sell sell at all cost. Relax and let people enjoy the shopping process. Things will get bought, but let people come to you if they need help and stop being so aggressive about selling things. It would make for a much more comfortable shopping experience. read more

Received a gift from a friend that was bought from their Amazon.com store. The box was damaged. I wanted to return it. However Amazon told me they will need to process the return and they told me that Amazon will need to process the return. Then they told me I would have to pay for the return shipping because they paid for the shipping to me. This was a lie. The gift giver was charged $32.39 for shipping. In addition, if I wanted to ship it back to them, FedEx ground only charges $20.50. So they padded the shipping charges. read more

This used to be one of our favorite stores. Since summer however it has become an adventure in trying to shop while dodging the annoying sales staff who seem to think it is helpful to stalk the customer. As was mentioned in a previous review, salesperson J____ just can't stop asking if you are "still having fun." Toytown has definitely become less and less fun, thanks to the annoying sales staff. read more

This is the first place I go when I need to buy toys. There is always a staff member available. I just ask what they would suggest for the child's age and gender. They ask me a question or two, and next thing you know, they show me two or three options. Their selection is great! read more
