I took my kid here a few days ago. He's been there once with someone else and really liked. They had a bunch of different toys there. Some were old toys I used to play with when I was a kid. The owner of the store was really nice. He talked about the history of some toys and how they worked. Really nice guy. I describe him as, the candyman of toys. The prices there weren't too bad either. My kid wanted this umbrella toy but they only had the display model available. He told us to come back tomorrow and he'd have more. I think they make some of their toys with a 3D printer or something. We'll be back again. read more

This place is so unique and one of the coolest toy stores. Their Barbie wall with vintage and collector Barbie's are awesome! They're also extremely affordable. So if you miss the feel of the old Barbie and want to collect or get one for your child, this is the place to go! It's around $15-65. That's the average range depending on packaging, year, and rarity. There is also some extreme collection ones though that are higher priced and porcelain. But never seen this in a toy store before and it was pretty dang cool. They also have a crazy cool selection of 3D printed toys and characters which I thought was great. I was told the owner makes it with their family members so that's a nice mom and pop add on to the store. Definitely will be back! read more

If I could give this store a zero stars review I would to go and close down your business and not inform people till after you do so. As well as take a whole bunch of pre orders take way longer then what you told the person it would take to get their order, never give them any updates, and try to claim that it was unfundable when they have the original receipt and it states nowhere on there or in your shop that the items were not refundable and never fulfill them is absolutely not okay. read more

This is a small local toy shop that is fun to walk through - it is great to have such a local feel to a toy story and I appreciate that they have several children's books by local Nevadan authors! They also will gift wrap your items for free, which is a great deal to have. read more

Really, really disappointed with the store after the move. A huge inventory of 3d printed baubles and trinkets. The hot wheels are gone. No nerf guns. No power wheels. I had a 63 year old Barbie doll house that they were sellling for me. after time I went and got it to find it in their back room with all the latches broken and falling apart. the Barbie car had a big crack in the windshield. l kept it in pretty good condition all this time and they ruined it. The only truly locally owned children's toy store in Reno! This is a boutique store so you won't find the big brand name or pop culture stuff, instead they carry things you won't find at other stores, which makes them truly unique. They have an amazing selection of Bruder trucks and are even able to order other trucks for you that they don't carry in store. They have some really beautiful wooden toys for younger children, like pretend foods, sensory boards, and some REALLY cute dollhouses! I love that we have a local toy store and this one seems to have something for everyone! The space is wide and open, allowing the littles to explore, but also neatly organized so you can easily find your way around. I particularly enjoyed the vast selection of games available here. Everything from family fun to more involved card games, and even some you could play solo. They also had a solid selection of puzzles too. I also appreciated that they had many mainstream toys, like Lego, Star Wars and Pokemon, along with a big selection for the babies and toddlers, which means you can literally shop for anyone here The store is also home to a large bulk candy shop, which is tricky when visiting with kids, but also fun, especially if you're shopping for a gift. As a consumer, it's tough to balance your desire to support local with the need to keep the budget in balance. The prices here are higher than what you'll find online, but that's to be expected. You have to go into it knowing that when you buy here you're supporting a family in this community. All in all, this was a cool shop to visit and while I can't buy everything here, I'm sure we'll end up back to pick something up soon. read more

WISH HAWAII HAD A TOY STORE LIKE THIS! We visited this toy store in hopes of bringing some toys back home with us as we were on vacation. We ended up staying at the store for an hour and half because our kids were playing with all the toys in there. The owner had explained many of the toys they had out for kids to play with were once his kid's toys 20-something years ago, which was amazing considering the condition they were in. Not only where the kids occupied for a little bit but they could experience toys we don't have at home and play with them before buying them. Owner was very passionate and helpful. We'd seen a billboard last time we were in the area and knew we had to plan a visit during our trip for our son's birthday. John is so friendly and welcoming. Our little guy probably spent about an hour checking everything out and playing before he finally settled on his birthday present. And then changed his mind and swapped it out for a different toy displayed at the register. John took the time to tell us all about the various brands the store has, gave us some tips for the truck our son ultimately decided on, and even entertained our son while we checked out. This will definitely be a stop for us whenever we're in the area. read more

I love the idea of buying my daughter's toys from a toy store rather than a chain. So with my daughter's first birthday coming up, I took her in to Toys N More so she could pick something out. She was immediately drawn to the dolls and the Shylling animal display stand. She's learning about animals right now, so this was very exciting for her. Unfortunately, she happened to waddle over to this display as an employee was reorganizing for what what I imagine was the 50,000th time. I said I was sorry as my daughter excitedly grabbed a horse off the bottom, knocking some of the others over. I immediately started to pick the rest back up, but the girl huffed, rolled her eyes and walked away without saying anything. I get that it's probably frustrating to organize that stand multiple times a day, BUT, it's a kids store. For kids, who at one, have no idea that what they did was rude, and I tried to fix it. But I will be back, because their selection of toys was great and the prices are comparable to big stores, and I can support a local shop. But hopefully they're nicer next time. read more

I love the learning based toys that they offer. I'm a huge fan of fun and educational all at the same time. What's really cool is that they offer something called " wish boxes". You take your kiddo to the store, and they are given a cool box. They walk through the store filling the box with the toys that they wish for, for their birthday ! It truly makes gift purchasing so much easier for parents, family & friends. Customer is top notch, and I haven't found a friendlier place to shop. Cute!! I heard that there was a new toy store in town and took my family in today. The husband and I love it. It is extremely spacious in there and very very clean and tidy. They have toys for kids and also nostalgic things for adults too. Lots of cool board games as well like monopoly cheaters edition, chutes and ladders ( my personal favorite) life, and much much more. They have a little area where my daughter got to play with the supermarket toy set which was very neat. We got a chance to speak to the owner John, who is very knowledgeable about toys and is super friendly as well. They have another room for candy and taffy in big barrels overall very satisfied and will come again. read more

This is the coolest toy store in town! It's pretty big, and has lots to look at and explore inside. We love coming in there and walking around to see everything. We enjoy coming here to buy presents during the holidays because they have other toys that you wouldn't see in other stores. I'm not a huge fan of Monopoly, but they had the move Elf version of Monopoly and I had to have it! My husband and I literally played it almost every night last December. Of course, because of the abundance of different toys they carry, prices are a little bit higher than others. But again, they have toys you wouldn't find any where else or wouldn't think of getting. read more

Went in to do a birthday box for my son's birthday. I have him every other weekend and he lives in California the rest of the time. We've done birthday boxes here before and it was a great experience and convenient. This year we were out of town the weekend before my son's birthday party so he wouldn't be up for a little over a month. We went in to set up a birthday box for him just before Christmas and told them his birthday party was on January 20th. They said that was fine and they would hold it until the day after his party. We put on all his invitations which he handed out that he had a birthday box at Toys N More. Today I went in to get him some of the presents he put in the box and THEY PUT IT ALL BACK ON THE SHELVES because I was told they have a "strict 30 day policy" I told them they agreed to hold it and his birthday party date was clearly listed on the box but I guess it didn't matter and at this point it was too late. All the invitations went out, we don't have contact information for the other parents and now they won't know what to get him and will probably make an extra trip they don't need to on their way to a birthday party for no good reason. We will never be going back to this place and I can think of about 30 other parents who won't be now either. Do not go here the toys are way overpriced and the staff will just put your kids birthday box back on the shelves before his party. (It should also be noted there were only 2 other birthday boxes on the shelves). read more

Don't buy your toys from Amazon every again. Please support this local business. I showed up 5 mins to close thinking I was gonna dash in and out for a gift for my son's birthday. John, asked for his age, and made a list of suggestions with valuable information about each product that easily helped me reach a decision. That alone would be enough for a 5 star review, but, while they were gift wrapping the item. John decided to show me a lot of other products around the store. He threw me a frisbee, and asked me to throw it back. I suffer from crippling anxiety and depression. This man had me actually playing in a toy store. Then he asked what I liked, and showed me some of the Star Wars toys. And I felt my own eyes light up like I was a kid again. I was only in that store for 15 minutes. The toy story was a family owned business. When we arrived in the store. We wasn't greeted, no one really spoke to us, no one asks if we need any help or if we were looking for anything Pacific. We kinda just walked around and looked ourselves. Majority of the toys were brand new. Some toy were bought from a third-party that kept the old price tags and put their price tags next to it. The product that they have are rare edition toys that you may not find elsewhere. Great collectors items and gifts. A little pricey But I think worth it if you want to keep them as collectors items. I liked the candy section however once again, no one told us how you collect or how much the candy cost or anything we had to literally go to the front and ask, and they didn't tell us how much it cost until we got to the register. But the experience at the store, the cleanest, the products, and the spaces was excellent. However, the service, employees, was really bland and dead. No explanation of how the environment is if we were looking for anything for particular or help. And the store was pretty empty. read more

This place is awesome! Both husband and wife are owners and are in the store. They are so helpful, kind, and knowledgeable about different toys for different ages. There's toys for young kids and older kids alike! I love the area with the vintage toys and candy by the barrel. There's also an area for you to host your own birthday party and do your own crafts. This place is much needed in Reno as there's really nowhere else like it in town. The toys are affordable and also they wrap for free! They also have a really cool system where kids can check out what kind of toys they want and put it in a gift bin and other people can go buy it for them later. It's a very cool system. Love the variety of stem toys, learning toys, and fun toys. The variety is a very good mix. Absolutely go check this place out, we will be back for sure. Cute toy store, nice selection, it was our first visit. I was purchasing two toys for my toddler grandsons. Happy with what I got. I asked about the gift wrapping, which was complimentary! They were really busy though and the clerk said that we could get a tag and stop by later to pick up our wrapped gifts. Since it was our last stop, and we live way out in Spanish Springs, I asked if I could just have a piece of paper to take with us. He said that was fine ,(so nice, I thought), but then he would barely give me a large enough piece...I had to show him that the first piece was way too small. He tried to tell me I could really stretch it tight to fit! I thought it was strange that he made such a big deal of it, even telling us that they had spent $2600 buying really high quality paper for the season...When I got ready to wrap the toys, I realized the second piece he cut was cut on such an angle, I was actually short and had to piece the beautiful paper together! Sheesh, do they charge him personally for the amount of paper? Kinda disappointed, not about the paper, but the customer service, especially after having just been at Reno Harley where they asked me to help myself to whatever wrapping supplies I wanted, including black Harley tissue, numerous designs of Harley paper, boxes, ribbons, tags etc. Harley has free wrapping too, but no one was available at that moment, so it was super nice that they offered me the opportunity to get my own supplies! I just figure that these days, when most people are shopping at the big box stores to save $, the smaller shops set themselves apart with great personal service, but apparently, that might not be the case at Toys N More?
