Fast forward a week and she's crying and struggling to go to the bathroom. We thought constipation. After a whole night of pain we called VAC and they said they had no appointments for follow up, it wasn't the antibiotics and to go to urgent care. We ended up at a different vet who first thing palpated her bladder and felt a mass. Then took a simple xray which showed 3 large bladder stones, one of which was blocking her from going pee. I'm no Dr, but wouldn't the original ultrasound from VAC show this? Wasn't that the point of the ultrasound? Even the 2nd vet was baffled that they didn't detect 3 cheese ball sized bladder stones via ultrasound, which I hear provides more detailed information than an X-ray. Anyway, I find that surprisingly incompetent. And even if they couldn't provide the necessary treatment (surgery), I would assume they would have spotted something so obvious and offered a treatment plan. Maybe they didn't even do the ultrasound? But they certainly billed for it. Anyway, boo on you VAC. Don't go here, they messed up big time.

Every 20 years, fashion cycles in and out. 20 years ago, i worked at Gottschalks, my favorite department store and whenever, I go to different Thrift Stores, I always see a sprinkle of Gottschalks everywhere. Shout out to Kubo and Lila for always dming or texting me about different Thrift Stores, especially ones that have Coach bags. I have passed by this thrift store many times and have been wanting to stop by. Their clothing selection was a little pricey, but I did find a Ralph Lauren belt for only $1. I haven't cooked a lot lately because gas is crazy expensive, but I plan to go back for some cookware and their dishware and tea sets are Gorgeous. They have shoes for $6 and are extremely organized. Clothing are a bit pricey at $8, but they do help with Operation School Bell which provides new school clothing for children in need, Operation Bear Hug which provides toys for children going through trauma, Operation Gift Box which sends care packages to senior citizens during the holidays. They are staffed by teenage volunteers who promote philanthropic work. I was tired and not wearing good shoes so I will go back again next time!

You know, After reading those comments, to wit were roughly 3-4 weeks old at the latest, I truly am…read moreappalled for the lack of empathy and support for first responders and those working in the medical field whom every day place their lives on the line, trying to help all of us. Those who CHOOSE DR. EDWARDS have done so due to his dedication to his patients. Is anybody aware that the reason they're closed half the week is because on those days, Dr. Edwards is driving to his practice in Bakersfield, a 220 miles round-trip. Why? His patients depended on him. Now, for a cancer-ass-kicking Doctor who has just finished voluntarily participating in the most brutal, extreme chemotherapy and radiation treatments, one would not expect to see him back in the office for quite some time. Yet for Dr. Edwards and his staff: quickly returning to his patients seemed to be a priority, although upon returning he was still feeling like crap, but he knew there were many who depended on him. Dr. Edwards is also the on-call neurosurgeon at CRMC, and the ER Neurologist over the weekend sometimes on call on weeknights. Yet, he still, through the pain, the sickness and the overall lethargic days he had, he still managed to muster up the energy to find the time for us. So if all you can do is complain about a Dr. who is dedicated to his patients just as much as Dr. Edwards is then I suggest you "bond out"-- let me say that in master degree PhD terminology for you, SWITCH DOCTORS, SWITCH OFFICES, and go find someone that will do what it is you want them to do for you. Otherwise you're wasting a very valuable person's time. Because the next person he maybe seeing is my mother or my wife. And I don't want him to have to interrupt his time with them just so he can answer hateful voice messages from someone(s) complaining about their medications. The two receptionists who work there now, (STUART IS NO LONGER AN EMPLOYEE) are a tight team. It is not easy keeping things moving in that office as smoothly as they do. So to them, (for their safety I will not list their names here) I cannot thank you all enough!! If no one has told you today that they appreciate you I just wanted to tell you that I do, thank you very much! You guys kick ass. :-) Permit me this: YOU CANNOT FILL C2's or C3's EARLY. NOPE, NO. NADA. UNH-UHH! He won't do it!! Don't waste their time by asking questions pertaining to early fills?!! People that's not his choice it's federal law!!! But that really doesn't matter to anybody right? Hell, you don't have to look for another job, he does when he gets fired, thereby losing his medical license, thereby losing his career, thereby losing his joy, his life, and quite possibly his home? His family may go into awful times that of us have been through and wish on no one.... Try, TRY just talking to Dr. Edwards about his life and goings on then you would learn about his nonprofit organization participations. PLEASE READ FIRST: I know this may sound pretty harsh to a lot of people who have left such negative comments, and before you blast back on me, take a minute and think about that, and realize I mean no malice and mean no personal offense to any of you. If you did take that personally then please allow me to ask for your forgiveness, this is not something that I do quite often. But when I see an injustice, I will speak on it. Dr. Edwards cares about all of his patients, maybe giving the chance to him and listening to what he has to say may actually be what you need. And I'm ending with this, remember that right now as people and states are trying to rush back into regular life: COVID-19 does not just die or disappear. The irresponsibility of our government opening all these random states one by one gives this terrifying disease the perfect opportunity to return. If you are a patient of Dr. Edwards, Take the time to thank him, I'm sure if it's not too much trouble for you, those two words go a whole long way when you're in the medical field, as a first responder during this tragic time in the history of The United States.
