I let him pick one toy too. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I ended up spending about 100 bucks, but I did get a birthday gift and even a couple Christmas gifts. Cool spot. This won't be our last time there.

We went again today like normal, and everything was good until we were in the last section we wanted to look at. A worker walked over to us, I'm assuming the manager, he said " think it's time for you to leave now". We were both confused and asked him "what?". He told us that his worker said that we were rude to him and that we threatened to "walk on the tables". We were both shocked and confused because we were never rude to an employee let alone even see an employee the whole time we were there. We tried to tell him that we never did that and that we would like to hear the employees side since the manager said we were rude to the employee. The manager refused to let us talk to or even explain further with what happened with this employee. By the time we were by the door we asked again to talk to the employee who we were accused of being so rude to, and this manager said he doesn't want to argue and that he will call the cops on us if we don't leave. Don't waste your time at this store, they are rude and uncooperative when there is any kind of issue. Stay away and do not support them.

Calling all toy and pop culture collectors--Operation Fandom needs to be on your radar. Nestled right on the Public Square in both Medina and Wooster and their third location in Mansfield, this shop is a nostalgic journey back to your childhood. Whether you're a die-hard Star Wars fan, obsessed with Madballs, love Harry Potter, or collect Funko Pops, this place has it all. From sealed collectible card packs, card games such as Magic and Pokemon, action figures, statues, backpacks, and stickers ot has ot all Check out the signed memorabilia lining the walls, there's something here for every kind of collector. You'll also find a solid selection of vintage video games, consoles, and cartridges--a treasure trove for retro gaming fans. And if that's not enough, right next door you can grab a vinyl LP and enjoy the unmistakable sound of a needle hitting wax. I had the pleasure of chatting with Josh, the owner, who shared how the stores came together as a true family-run business. His passion is clear, and it's reflected in the unique, welcoming atmosphere of the stores. Supporting local business has never been more fun. So whether you're doing a local collectible crawl or just looking for a fun stop, Operation Fandom in Medina or Wooster is definitely worth the trip. You're bound to find something cool--and maybe even something you didn't know you were looking for.

So many cool old knick-knacks with a seriously retro/analog vibe. Think Back to the Future, etc. Old video games, cards, toys, action figures, and collectibles. The old and the new. Star Wars, Star Trek, Game of Thrones, Pokemon, Magic The Gathering, Harry Potter, Lego, Nintendo. This is certainly not an exhaustive list. Prices definitely vary. There are signed copies of books and cards that are several hundred, even thousands, of dollars. Then there are newer items alongside collectibles that start at a couple bucks. Lots of gift-like items or stocking stuffers. Anybody who has ever liked anything remotely nerdy in the last 40 years will be bound to find something here. Therefore, you're certain to find a good gift for about anybody here. The shopkeeper was also really cool and friendly in spite of the shop being basically over run with people. This is no doubt a money-making shop in a liberal arts college town.

It's just one of those places where the nostalgia hits you like a wave. Every aisle is filled with treasures from your childhood: toys you had, toys you wanted but couldn't afford, and even some you totally forgot existed until they were right there in front of you. I told a friend recently that if I had a million dollars to spend only on toys, I'd still leave that store with a wishlist. It's that packed with incredible finds. They have toys dating all the way back to the 1920s, through the golden eras of the '50s, '60s, '70s, and into the '80s and '90s--the stuff we now lovingly call "vintage" or "retro." From Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Star Wars to Marvel Comics, classic board games, and massive collectible statues, the selection is wild. I'm doing a couple of photo dumps just to show people how deep the nostalgia runs there. It's more than a store--it's an experience. If you're within driving distance, I highly recommend making a day of it. Explore the beautiful town of Canal Fulton, grab some food, and then spend time walking through this amazing shop. You won't regret it. And if you're not local--good news--they ship nationwide (possibly even worldwide). Right now they've got a spring sale: 20% off most items, and even 10% off statues and busts. Plus, they're gearing up for a huge Free Comic Book Day event, with a block party, vendors, and performers. Definitely worth checking out. Keep an eye out for flyers about NEO Con while you're there, and block out some time--you're going to need it!

I was in a bad spot with my vehicle and went there to see if I could sell a few things. I know they have to make money but they will lie about the value of your items and offer next to nothing.
