Game Crossing is a large, well lit, open store with multiple spacious tables for gaming, modeling, painting, hanging out, etc. It has a decent amount of parking, and carries some unusual games besides the expected magic:the gathering and 40k. There are lots of events and open-late nights, including a wed. night open gaming and decent support for Friday Night Magic. I can't recommend it enough, the only comparable stores for space and player base I've seen have been in much larger cities. They also run a comic bin service.

I could have simply had my family order online, but if possible I prefer to shop local. I requested my family to go out of their way and make some orders through Game Crossing. They took their names, numbers and quantities and told my friends that they would receive a call once the item had arrived. The service is helpful as long as you're in the store, but as soon as you step out the door you're forgotten about. For instance, one of my family members had to go in three separate times to see if my item arrived without any notifying calls. On the third trip into the store my family member explained their concern for a lack of customer service, and they finally made an effort to rummage though the boxes in the back to acquire my item. I don't think it's right that this business needs to be nagged by their customers in order to take the initiative to complete a sale. I also went in with my wife and placed an order with them in hopes that they would call her, but never did so. As of now I believe that their priority is playing games in their store, rather then running a business. I will give them a few more tries, but this local business is on the track of losing a customer to online sales.
