I've been renting from them for the past 8 months and have never had any issues, I just moved my stuff out this past weekend and hadn't had a chance to contact them and give them my 30 day move out notice, which I figured I'd just pay the next months rent, but today they contacted me to let me know the lock was missing from my storage unit and I told them that I had just moved my stuff out and hadn't had a chance to tell them and they were very kind and asked me where they could send my security deposit and said that my balance due is zero. Overall great experience and will rent from them in the future if needed

I happened to see the Yelp advertisement for Hampton Storage when searching for their phone…read morenumber... so thought I'd give some kudos to this great place. Back in 2012 my grandparents passed away and I ended up being the one to clear their home of over 50-years (that gramps built). Needless to say I had the once in a life time opportunity to revisit my childhood as my gramps never got rid of anything. He built the house and anything he brought into it was dam well going to stay there. Well, after several months flying back and forth from my home in Santa Monica, CA to coordinate repairs to prep the house to sell ... and more than one garage sale along with a special "yard sale" to liquidate my gramps life long collection of Radio Controlled Airplanes (that he built from scratch) I ended up with a garage full of things I just couldn't part with. I've lived in Southern CA since 1981 when I left good ole Bay City to seek my fortune out west however, no way would I ever be hauling that garage full of memories out west. I just don't have the room here. So, the great family at Hampton Storage has helped me hold on to my childhood memories since 2013 when I rented two storage spaces from Mike. He was extremely easy to work with... and all over the phone! Hampton Storage is clean, well lighted, easy to access yet secure, and just off Center Ave. in Essexville. When I fly back to visit I stay with my mom in Saginaw but its still easy getting to Hampton Storage from Saginaw. However, the biggest and best thing about Hampton Storage are their rental rates. I did a lot of research back in 2013 looking for the right storage rental place... that was near my grandparents home off Youngs Ditch Rd. Hampton Storage turned out to be the perfect place for my needs. The only thing I have to do now after all these years is decide just how many more years I'm going to rent storage before deciding to move back to the Bay City area. I think its going to be a few more years... I'm only in my 60's!

It took her 2 months to send me a check and when I got it the total was for half and she put the wrong name on the check. Do not rent a unit here. She has done the same to many others.

Lady owner is hard to deal with. She doesn't return calls or texts all the time and if you stand up…read morefor your rights she claims you send nasty messages and evicted you and demands a full months rent for only 10 days with the promise of returning the rest of it to you. I have seen many posts where it takes 4 months to get it and it is short money. She is not easy to work with. I wouldn't recommend this place. She is also a liar and claims she sends out a notice that you have not paid your rent when you never got anything.
