The owner of this store sold my wife a new Tonies box that was just released. The owner blatantly lied, saying that she was the only store that carries the newer boxes. She had my wife believing that she couldn't buy them anywhere else. I saw the same ones at Target that same day. I don't know why a business owner would intentionally deceive customers, especially about something that was easily proven wrong. We try to support small businesses as much as we can, and this kind of dishonesty hurts, and is what I'd expect from a big box toy store. Suffice it to say we won't be shopping there again.

There's something for every age, plus plenty of the fun and harder-to-find toys that kids are currently obsessed with. The customer service really stands out, too. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and makes you feel genuinely welcome. I'm about 2.5 hours away, but this is absolutely going to be one of my stops whenever I'm in the Dallas area. A great friend of mine brought me here last month as I was about to leave to go back home, and she showed me some of the fidget toys she had bought for herself. I instantly had to have a few of them and fortunately, they had them in stock. There is something so amazing about picking up what you think you wish to purchase and be able to hold that item in your hand and the Toy Tree is one such place to have this connection. The young lady who helped us was amazing and super friendly and helpful. This has the feel of a store that has been in someone's family line for a long time, although this is not based on fact. What I can say is factual, is this is an amazing store for the young and young at heart.

Toys"R"Us - Standalone Store at Grapevine Mills Mall…read more November 9, 2025 (3/5) Toys"R"Us is back with a new standalone location at Grapevine Mills. It's a fun trip down memory lane, though it doesn't fully capture the magic of the original stores from the 80s and 90s. The store is now franchised rather than corporately owned, which changes the feel a bit. Prices are on the higher side, and while there are some interesting and unique items, there weren't many Toys"R"Us exclusives beyond a Geoffrey the Giraffe pop. Still, the store is clean, organized, and has plenty to explore, whether you're a collector, a parent, or just a kid at heart. A nostalgic stop, but not quite the full experience of the original Toys"R"Us. The guy at the front door was really nice.
