Generally if I can see through it, I'm not drinking it. Even though my initial education of the beverage was through a German microbrewery, I somehow ended up as a stout drinker. Parking was definitely a challenge, even at this point in the day, but we found a spot around the corner by the museum which had closed. The inside part of the restaurant was nearly empty (I didn't look but I assume most were out back in the garden area) but we chose to sit up front in the main window to people watch. They do have menu's in English which was nice. We all ordered burgers, but my daughter and I asked for no condiments of any kind. We were very explicit about just meat and bread. From the inside you can see into the kitchen, and you can see that it is small and there are only 1, sometimes 2, people cooking so it wasn't a surprise when it took a while for the food to come. When it did come, the first look was impressive - nice sized burger on a ciabatta like bun, and nice crispy fries. Lifted the bun up to find what looked like mayo on our burgers, so we called the server back and pointed out that we asked for no condiments. We expected them to take them back, switch out the buns and bring them back, but they started the whole meal from scratch again. So one ate while the rest waited, and he was done by the time our food came out. So that was awkward and kind of put a damper on our evening. I'll give them a point for good fries, but even though the food was decent the experience kind of let us down.
