My mother hired this company to create a bedroom in the basement. The quality of the work was good,…read morehowever they created a wall around the HVAC system. My mother is 86, and didn't realize that this was the case until she needed HVAC service and was told they could not get to the system as walls were built around it. I contacted the company, asking for someone to meet me there to discuss what to do for my mom's house. I received a very rude reply from Ken Witt, he said that I wanted it this way and he could not get me to understand that this was not right. He approved the design with the walls built around the unit even though he knew it was wrong. Why would a company do that and insist that i wanted walls built around the HVAC system? I replied that it must have been my daughter in law he spoke with and there was no reason to be rude. My daughter in law is not confused, she said she did not ask for this. He stated he would not come to the house, and would not do anything about the issue. What company builds a box/walls around a elderly lady's HVAC system, even though they admitted it was the wrong thing to do? Witt remodeling is who. I contacted the BBB, they cannot help since it is over 12 months ago. My elderly mom now has to hire a second company to come and tear down walls and build something that allows access to the HVAC system. In addition mom requested a closet and they refused to do that, stating it was not possible. The company clearly knows how to say no to an unrealistic request, so why would they say I wanted it that way. I wish they would have done the same for making my mom's HVAC system closed off. To date there has been complete refusal to fix the mess they created. The reply to my BBB complaint was not a resolution, but a statement that I inserted myself into the situation and started making accusations. That is true- but for a reason and everyone knows that is not a resolution. Good luck if you choose this company, while I admit the work they did was nice and seems high quality, if there is a problem you will be met with rudeness and refusal to help you. These people did the wrong thing by an elderly widow, and they are not even ashamed or offered any apology.

Needless to say, their repair hasn't held. The pvc piping they installed won't even stay together. It only held for a few months and then just came apart-- leaving us with having to have a bucket beneath the sink. I'm just frustrated enough to write this updated review now because I have to pay to have another plumber come out to fix their work. These people are predatory and unprofessional. Would not recommend. What would've been nice is if the owner of this plumbing company saw the invoice number on my receipt in the last post and tried to reach out-- but he didn't. Instead he implied that we didn't even have his company service my mother's home. Having integrity in your business -- owning a job and its result means something.
