Quality/Quantity - Decent hot breakfast, see pictures. Due to my excessive drinking on this trip and all the walking from visiting all the tourist sites, we have been getting up late. 30 minutes before breakfast closes. Well, that is not a good time to get a full breakfast as it seems that everyone is doing the same, so it was during peak breakfast time. A few days, they just could not keep up with demand. Still, the breakfast was good. Atmosphere - Our favorite physical hotel on this trip. The room was clean and very spacious. Full kitchenette. Tables with 3-4 chairs for me to write my Yelps. The first floor has a small lobby. Main lobby on the 5th floor, with a bar and breakfast area. Believe it or not, I did not spend one day in the bar, maybe because this city has so many great breweries! See all my other reviews. There is also an outdoor patio, but it was too cold in the morning to use on most days. Also, they had community BBQ grills that no one used either, see pictures. Small gym that I never used. Valet parking; we used rideshare. Service - 5 stars, the front desk team was great. I believe they knew my wife on a first name basis by the time we left. Price - $2,016 for 6 nights; expensive, but you get what you pay for. That's approximately $336 a night on average. Owner Comment - Congrats to Marriott's success since 1957 and with your 586+ locations. 1927 - Marriott International was founded, and they currently have 8785+ locations.

Stayed at TownePlace Suites Nashville Midtown, and we were definitely satisfied. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay including a small kitchenette, but they also have complimentary breakfast with plenty of options. However, it's nice to be able to bring in and store some goodies in the room. Although not luxury, it did have some higher end hotel look, feel, and pricing. The lobby and breakfast area was very nice, and the staff very helpful. There is valet and self parking, both which come at a cost if you are not ride sharing. The lobby is not on the ground level, so you can walk in, get in the elevator, and go right to your floor without going through the lobby if you want. This also means, when you are in the lobby, it's not as hustle and bustle. While there are sidewalks, the neighborhood isn't really what one would call walkable. You will likely need to drive to any sites or attractions you will want to visit in Nashville, whether those are for fun or work. However, there are some fast food and local eateries within walking distance. Overall, TownePlace Suites Nashville Midtown exceeded expectations and recommend.

This was my first time staying here on my 10th trip to Nash. I was here from Oct. 3-7th. My friend's sister booked it as she got a military discount & is a Marriott member. There were 10 of us girls total. I roomed with two other girls who arrived around 8-8:30am with a group of 2 other girls and they had gone to the check in desk to see if they could check in early & were not allowed to as "the rooms weren't ready." They dealt with a girl named Coral & none of them had anything nice to say about her. She wasn't friendly or nice to my friends. She also (for some reason) charged them in full for their stay which is weird because that is something that isn't done until you check out & mind you she wouldn't let them check in. My one friend was very upset because she used her debit card & she was charged the full amount of the stay, plus incidental charges & the money came out of her bank acct. right away. Apparently she wasn't aware with debit cards any hotel incidentals can take longer than a credit card to be credited back to her bank account. She also missed the sign @ the desk that explains this. She was also sharing a room with another girl who she was going to split the cost with. Coral had told my friend that I was staying in the room with that she would get a text when she could check into the room, which she never got. My friend's sister had arrived around noon to the hotel she was allowed to check in. Once we got to the hotel a little later this Coral girl was gone & there was another young girl who was very nice with a male manager behind the desk. They complained to them about what happened earlier & Coral's mean, unprofessional behavior. They were surprised to find out that she had charged my friends for the whole stay & said that isn't something that they do. She also forgot to mention or offer the $10 (spilt in 1/2) Lyft discount code. Valet guys were always nice. Maxwell is the one who I remember as he was the first one I dealt with & when I arrived I asked "where is the bellhop?" and he didn't know what that was....lol I told him its where I could store my luggage & he said "oh we call that storage." We were all able to store our luggage in "the storage" when we couldn't check into our rooms. Its FREE but remember to tip them, usually $1.00/bag. Hotel was nice & clean. Check in desk is on 5th floor. Room was nice & spacious. Has a little kitchen area with microwave, fridge with freezer, dishwasher & stove top. They do provide dishes, dishwasher soap, dish soap & kitchen towels. Pillows are horribly thin, bed was fine. The Queen beds are really small & I don't know how 2 people could fit in it comfortably? My friend slept on the couch that is provided, there is also a table with chairs. Large closet, iron with iron board. We didn't find a safe in the room. Bathroom has bar soap with a makeup remover pad & in the shower on the wall are a 3 bottles; shampoo, conditioner & body wash. Shower pressure isn't that great but you can adjust the shower head. I wish there were hooks on the back of the bathroom door to hang stuff on. There are two hooks outside the shower on the wall but if you hang your towel on one it covers the light switches. I also wish they had a full length mirror inside the closet door vs in the kitchen on the wall. Also they fridge door opens away from the room door. I almost got hit when I had the fridge door open & my friend came back to the room. Poor place for the fridge. FREE BREAKFAST HOURS: Mon-Fri: 6a-9a.Sat & Sun: 7a-10a. They have a nice breakfast set up that I hit up once. I really liked the crustless quiche. I love how the hotel keeps the coffee & hot water carafes out 24/7 in the breakfast seating area, with the fixings. There is a water filter device on the water fountain on the 5th floor outside the bathrooms, this is also where their gym is located. I stopped in the bar to get a drink but it took me 3 visits before I actually could order a simple can seltzer. There was only 1 bartender working & he was slow & not a good multitasker. The bar seating area is nice & there was a live singer one night. Great view from the bar & has an outdoor patio. The front desk can be slow to as there is usually only one person working the desk. There is a Publix within walking distance from the hotel in a shopping plaza area with stores & other restaurants. There is a Dunkin Donuts right next door too. There is a Burger King right across the street & a Subway right next door to the hotel. 7-11 gas station/convenience store right across the street, took us like 2 mins to get there. Broadway is about a 10-15min ride if you get dropped off @ Ole Red and one night 2 of the girls walked back to the hotel from a bar on Broadway that took them 25mins. I love staying closer to Broadway but this hotel wasn't that bad or that far away from Broadway. I'd def. stay here again if needed. Enjoy your stay!!

Hotel bar was awesome! We stayed at the hotel for my sister's Bach trip. We got a 2 queen beds and kitchen area and a couch and table. Rooms were very spacious and lots of outlets. They also give you discounts on Ubers and Lyfts like one per day at the front desk. Staff was super nice and accommodating!

This hotel was fabulous! I actually preferred it being a little outside downtown Nashville. We were able to check in a little early which was a huge help, Kayla at reception was especially nice and came to find us when our room was ready. The free breakfast was one of the best ever - anything you could want was on that buffet! The room was very comfortable and so was the bed. We always travel with a noise machine and earplugs (and I highly encourage everyone to do the same) so we didn't have any issues with noise. The Lyft credit was a brilliant touch! Would definitely stay again.

BEDBUG!

BEWARE!!! My bestie and I stayed here a few months ago for her bday trip. The overall look of the rooms and hotel are great. Location, GREAT! Customer service at the location GREAT! However, the day we arrived and went to our room, everything was fine until my bestie sat on the couch and then her skin began itching. For some reason she thought she was having an allergic reaction. No biggie, we went to get allergy meds. The following night I too started itching on my arms, so now I was confused. While I was laying on the bed the 2nd night, she suddenly smacked me on my back really hard and said OMG! ITS BEDBUGS!!! We literally took the bedbug in a napkin and went to the front desk to show the staff in which right away he rectified the situation by switching our rooms but after that we were freaked out checking all of our belongings to make sure we weren't carrying any back to the changed room or worse, back home with us. The reason for my 1 star was not only for the experience but for the fact that he said the hotel would be following up which they never did even after me reaching out to them and still no response months later.

Shower

Everything. The check in process, employee was not friendly. My room shower was dirty, I was double charged for parking. It has been a nightmare to get my money back. I was given a long email that I'm not sure someone will ever respond.

This is a cute little hotel. A little far out from all the activities, but they do give you a free Lyft code. The rooms are very nice. They didn't have the standard toiletries though. They do have a restaurant on site at the lobby floor.

The room itself is so spacious and comfortable. The location is pretty central to all neighborhoods - Broadway, 12 South and the Gulch were all about 10-15 minutes away, by car. But man does the service suck. When we checked in a man helped us and he wasn't friendly at all. He honestly seemed bothered and like he didn't want to be there. We originally had two bookings - one with my dad's Corporate discount and one without. A few weeks before our trip we cancelled the room without the discount (or so we thought). When we checked in, turns out we cancelled the wrong room and found out we were laying over $200 more for our stay because of mix up. I realized this when I tried to give the man my discount form and he told me I didn't book a room that required the form. I was confused because I didn't know the wrong room was cancelled. Instead of trying to understand why I was confused and question that maybe there was a mistake, the man just continued to check me in and state I didn't make a reservation that required the form. Like obviously I made a mistake and good customer service would mean trying to help the customer. Well, not this man. I'm not upset about the fact that I didn't get the discount because that's clearly my fault, but more so that the man could clearly tell that I made a mistake and he just didn't care enough to try to help a girl out. Later that day, I went down to the lobby to collect my Lyft codes for the day and he gave me attitude when asking if I've used it before and was rudely giving me instructions on how to add the code in my app. I don't know what this man's problem is but he could really use an attitude check. Probably shouldn't be at the front desk interacting with guests if he's going to be a jerk the whole time. That being said, the room was really nice. We had a full kitchenette, a dining table and a couch. It was perfect for three girls on a girls trip. I'd recommend for a nice stay but hopefully you don't get the jerk of a man helping you!

Brand new hotel in midtown Nashville. Great location. Friendly staff, very professional and Well trained. Just know the valet parking is right when you enter the property. There is street parking across a busy road for free. Free breakfast is included each morning and the bar is well stocked with a variety of selections and specialty cocktails. The bartender is friendly, very knowledgeable and energetic. The rooms are large with a well equipped with a mini kitchen, Beds are comfortable and clean. Bathroom is a good size with all the amenities. When I'm in Nashville - I will be back!

Starting with customer service at check in, this place was GREAT! The valets were also very friendly when I first pulled up, so I don't want to overlook their efforts! The young, beautiful girl with brown hair who checked me in provided excellent service and information about the hotel, the area and their amenities. I then went into my room, a corner room on the 8th floor and it was beautifully decorated and furnished! The only issue I had was there was no hand soap. But the place was fresh and looked like it was recently renovated. The bed was firm and comfy. Location is decent, a little sketchy late at night if you're walking back from Broadway, especially with the Hustler strip club across the street. I needed to check out and leave at 3AM the next morning and the valet was quick to bring my car around, without delay! I'll definitely stay here again!

Tina C.

The staff at the hotel were very very friendly and 5 stars, from the young man who cleaned our room on the 9th floor, the desk ladies and the valet staff. The room was spotless, modern and comfortable . One issue was awful a giant palmetto bug crawled in one night. Now I am raised in Florida and know they can fly in from outside so we won't freak out. The highlight was valet guy Phil. He was wonderful with great tips to help and enhance our visit to Nashville. He was super helpful. All the items above would have gotten the hotel a better rating except for 2 things. The breakfast was like eating cardboard and boring. The same exact stuff each day and tasteless. I have been in cheaper hotels where they at least mix it up occasionally. The other complaint is the parking. $35 a day. I know this is common in big cities everywhere but I would rather pay a little extra and have it inclusive. I find if you are a guest in a high establishment then treat you that way and have parking be a perk. Also add a more available link pamphlets and info on things to do in the area in the room. Or hire Phil as a concierge.

Checked in today, have part of someone else's hair attached to my bed.

We stayed 3 nights and given the cost was 293+ tax the first night 393+ tax and 493+ tax for the Friday night, they are really taken advantage of people coming to Nashville. I am a Platinum Marriott Member and Gold Hilton Member and usually stay there. The first room we were given was on the lowest floor overlooking their rooftop with air conditioners. I was able to change it for a 19th floor room with a city view. Back to breakfast....All 3 days was scrambled eggs, sausage patties, square potatoes, biscuits and gravy. They had a large grill but were not doing omelets. They did them in the past. You could make a waffle using the same units at all hotels like Hampton and Holiday Inn Express. Higher end hotels will make them for you. They had apples, bananas and oranges. The bowl of fruit (matched the hampton's) but there's was wilted and soggy (cantaloupe, honeydew, pineapple and grapes). Last day they had non. Milk was out of a machine and yogurt was 1 flavor along with hardboiled eggs. They did have pancakes off to the side by the grill and cheese you could add to your eggs. The "fantastic" sitback and enjoy spread was a joke. 1 night pseudo chicken alfredo. Another night horrible pork bbq and tacos the last. All nights had baked potatoes and chips with salsa. My wife was shocked at how downhill it went. You were given 3 bar tickets per person. They now limited you to 5 specialty drinks (1 being Margarita, 1 cherry flavoring with vodka and sprite with sour mix ) or regular water downed drinks The only positive was you could get fountain pop all day. From 4 to 8pm they popped popcorn in the lobby. I had to remind them 1 day. The fitness center was nice but the pool didn't open until 9AM. I wanted to do at 830 before heading out. I am on eastern time while they are on central time. There is no restaurants in the hotel. I don't count the bar with limited options for food. See my pictures for the menu. The rooms are very basic. They were clean. I had to chase the cleaning staff each day for more towels and even toilet paper! The hotel has no concierge. Parking is $42 a night for self-park. The location is very convenient but so are several other hotels.

Of course, Downtown…read moreNashville has grown and with the Hockey Area and Country Music Hall of Fame right across the street and Broadway a block away, this is one convenient and large location. I was able to book our 4 nights through a combination of Hilton Points and my annual free night off my Amex credit card. Such a deal! And as a Diamond member, I had use of the Executive Lounge and a $30 food and beverage credit. We all had a very pleasant stay. The room was roomy and comfortable, the shower water was hot and strong, and we slept well. Our window faced towards the Hockey Arena, and there was selective Broadway-related noise in the evening. That became background noise soon enough that really didn't affect sleep. However, I suspect that this Hotel is due for some refurbishment as the armrests on the couch were worn and at least one cabinet molding came off. Housekeeping sometimes came late in the day, and after they skipped us after the first night, we made it a point to remind them. As for the $30 food credit, we used the convenient coffee kiosk by the elevators often. Fruit, cookie bars, coffee, and other snacks were often available at the Executive Lounge, although I found this to be one more basic offerings that I'd experienced with Hilton. We didn't really figure out how to have a proper breakfast here, but there were plenty of excellent choices within a short walking distance. The Italian restaurant (separate review) was a pleasant surprise one night for dinner, in terms of value, good food, and excellent service. Then there were the 3 elevator banks, one of which was out-of-service, and required knowing that there were 2 call buttons to keep track of. Parts of the day did require some waiting as every floor (of 10) was often in play. As we headed back to the airport yesterday, I agree with my brother-in-laws comment that with all the location and room positives, this hotel lacked a certain character. Maybe it was size, maybe it was good service without a lot of personality, or maybe because of where they are, they can mail it in occasionally. Or maybe the little things we noticed started to add up. I'm a loyal Hilton Honors member, but if there's a next time for Nashville, I might look at some of their other nearby options.

To be honest, this hotel is on a whole another level than what I normally do. Since the conference is here, and we have a booth, I drove up from the Atlanta suburbs. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Jon, who was the first valet that got to me. Super friendly, and helpful. I owe him an apology, I thought I gave him the keys but since it wasn't my normal vehicle I apparently kept them in my pocket. He had every right to call me an idiot but he was laughing with me as I sheepishly handed them over. Josh helped me unload my car, with my suitcase, and boxes full of stuff for our booth exhibit that will be set up on Tuesday afternoon. Friendly guy, helped me get a luggage cart and get to the front desk. From there, Jon was the person tasked with helping me get my bags upstairs to my room. Jon was awesome, talked about places to go, what's around, and if I needed any advice he could help. I grabbed a map and he took a pen and marked where the hotel was so I could get my bearings easily. Raj was manning the desk where I was waiting, and he was also really professional and courteous. Was able to accommodate me with an early check in, so that I could put all my things away. My room is epic, I have a great view of the ATT building (the "Batman") and some of the rooftops on Broadway (I think?) This morning I went out to grab two more colleagues. Valet Parking has in and out privileges so Austin was the guy who not only got my car...but later I realized I left a bag and my room fan when I came back. Austin was kind enough to grab them for me without bringing the car around. I appreciate this top level attention and service. So many things around this area.
