Customer service is just top notch! Such a friendly location, clean and so nice to have refrigerator and oven for extended stays. Also plenty of room to feel like you're almost home instead of hanging out in a hotel room. BBQ's fire pit and plenty of comfy seating outside, surrounded by pool and parks. We love it here. No it is still not a quote "5 star hotel" but it is for us who are looking for a casual home away from home instead of schmancy spa experience. read more

This location was great- the staff was very kind and helpful. We stayed one night and the price was reasonable. Nice clean rooms and a big free parking lot they provide a parking pass for. The free breakfast was not the greatest but it was free and did have a decent selection. Overall I would stay here again especially over some other Marriott locations in the area. read more

We stayed here for 6 days in September prior to our son's wedding in North Plains Oregon. What a fantastic location. Everyone working there were so friendly and helpful. It's clean and comfortable. So much available close by and even within walking distance. It's great for walking and biking. I took several walks and was able to shop nearby at Trader Joe's, Kohl, and Fred Meyers. There are lots more choices and plenty of eating options too. Definitely go across the parking lot to La Provence for breakfast or lunch. We were lucky to be there on a Thursday for the farmers market in the parking lot. If you miss that I highly recommend the Vancouver farmers market on Saturday and Sundays. read more

Arrived with our dog and received a complimentary gift for him with treats and waste bags. Wonderful service, a clean and well stocked room that we were surprised to find had a small kitchen made us wish we were staying longer than one night. read more

I've stayed at this hotel many times..... only drag now is they charge $10 to park in an open lot. (Lost a star for that) The area is great, close to many things. The pool is enjoyable, complete with a storage box of floats to use. Property has always been clean, with a friendly staff. Very accommodating to any requests. I will be back!! read more

Very nice extended stay hotel in Vancouver, WA. My husband and I stayed at this hotel on two different occasions this year. Both times we stayed for three nights. The staff at this hotel is very nice. Each time we were here, we were able to check in and get our room early. The rooms are nice- very standard rooms with a small kitchen with a full sized fridge, microwave, and a small storage closet. The beds are very comfy and just like all Marriott hotels has smart TV's where you are able to login to watch your own netflix account. The breakfast each morning was fabulous. It typically consisted of eggs, some sort of breakfast meat, waffle maker, pastries, yogurt, oatmeal, etc. Each time we stayed we got a beautiful view of the park behind the hotel, which is defiantly a plus. We would defiantly stay here again when we come visit the Portland area in the future! read more

This is the best staff in the business! We stay here for work all the time and it's not even the closest place. The rooms are always clean, the breakfast is great, and the staff is so friendly..... Everyone of them! Plus it's across the parking lot from a good restaurant and the perfect end to a long day on the road. Gym: perfect for hotel Out back: fun nice setting with a fire nightly Pool and hot tub: always clean and ready to go! A big thank you to the staff! read more

Solid TownePlace Suites in a popular (and newer) area of Vancouver, WA. Very convenient to a number of eateries and there are three French bakeries nearby! Within a couple of miles is a Chuck's grocery store where you can source all types of fresh produce and grocery. Room is just OK and the check-in staff is friendly. Be aware that they charge $ 10 for about an overnight parking even though it is nowhere near busy part of town... read more

Extremely disappointed. We picked this hotel because of their "smart" TVs. The plan was to watch Netflix and chill. It's officially been 4 plus hours and no sign of watching Netflix or Hulu or YouTube or anything with internet on the tv. I understand things come up, I really do. I appreciate a guy coming up to check on the tv. I appreciate the front desk lady trying to help. However, it's been hours and it's not fixed. I haven't been given another room that has a working tv. Instead, I'm forced here... jeez, I even asked for a DVD player, but no, someone else has it already. I'm so unbelievably mad! I wish I could give no stars for this shitty experience. I will say, the room is GREAT, it's clean and nice (as you can tell from the pictures. I like the location, it's near everything. However, all the nice things don't take away from the fact that I'm sitting on the couch wanting to watch a freaking movie and cannot!!! Maybe I'll rewrite this review, but probably only to make it more dramatic because I'm too upset to make sense right now! This will be the LONGEST night ever! read more

This property looks brand new and the feels a lot more expensive than its budget price. We stayed here only 1 night in a stopover and was very pleasantly surprised. The room was modern and spacious. There were ample closet space and comes with a kitchen. Breakfast is also served daily. By being in Vancouver, rates are also 20% cheaper than Portland. You can't go wrong with this property! read more

Newer hotel in an industrial type area, close to stores and restaurants. The front desk gal was very helpful and pleasant. There is a pool and hot tub outside. Small breakfast area with the normal hotel serve yourself breakfast. The rooms are very nice. We had a small kitchenette with two hot plates, a microwave, medium sized fridge and freezer, dishwasher and cookware. There is a workspace with several outlets for your electronic devices. A small loveseat and a decent bathroom. Smells new and clean. I would absolutely stay here again. read more

My family and I are loyal Marriott customers as well as Marriott rewards and we love Marriott hotels but this experience was so disappointing. We had an early morning flight- 6:50 am takeoff & landing in Portland around 11am. Being on board, phones were in airplane mode. Upon arrival into Portland, we received an email stating that our reservation has been canceled. (Email was sent 7:30am morning of arrival) My mother called them to see what happened and the lady that answered was incredibly RUDE. Her reasoning sounded like a bunch of lies to cover up something suspicious (like cancelling our reservation to put someone that they knew). & I promise that, I'm not just saying that because I'm bitter. If there was a no star option, I'd most definitely have given it. read more

Great customer service. Clean rooms, lobby and property. Workout room is top notch; numerous machines, free weights, plenty of room for stretching and flOor work. Outdoor pool wasn't used but looked clean. Outdoor hot tub was great and clean! The room was equipped with everything you need to make a meal. I stayed for a week and will definitely stay again. Thank you for making my stay comfortable!! read more

I've been a good Marriott rewards member and completed my profile preferences which consists of non-smoking room, and a quiet location. So, I check in with the mobile app and get the notification that my room is ready, great perk. However when I arrive at the hotel, the guy at the check in counter starts to click around, taking longer than usual to the point that I ask him if everything is ok. He says yes and then tells me my room number. I get to my room and it right up against the ice machine. Really??? And within 2 minutes, I can hear someone filling a bucket with ice. I head out to a meeting and get back and find out that the WiFi disconnects after a minute or so. Really?? read more

As a loyal Hilton traveler, I was wanting g to stay in one of their properties, but none were conveniently located for an extended stay, so I chose this Marriott hotel, while we remodeled our home. It turned out to be a great decision. First of all, I am handicapped and Megan was very proactive in finding a room that fit our needs. Second the park in back was a pleasant surprise, great for me and my young St Bernard puppy. Third and most of all the staff, Alison, GM, Megan, Mgr, Megan 2 and Jaycee Front Desk, Mark, Maint, and Tam, Breakfast Organizer were all great representatives for the hotel. After 54 days at the hotel, we got to know them and their professionalism and positive personalities made our stay very enjoyable. As for the person who wrote about the Federal Agents staying in the hotel, I was glad they were there and thanked them everytime I saw them them for the work they did. I am happy they could find a peaceful place to get a restful sleep Can not say enough positives about this hotel and would reccomend it to friends and family. read more

This property appears to have recently been renovated - the rooms are super modern and updated. The staff was friendly and helpful - everything was clean and comfortable. Having a couch in your room to relax is so helpful - and the kitchen area is amazing. Plus, it was extremely affordable. I have absolutely no complaints about this location. I am a Marriott snob - meaning almost every hotel stay I book is at a Marriott property - and I usually shy away from TownePlace since they are at the bottom of the totem pole at Marriott. However, if every TownePlace was this nice - I would ALWAYS stay at them. read more

I wish every hotel was like this one. We booked a last minute night at this hotel on our trip to Oregon and I was so impressed with my stay. Impeccably designed rooms, perfectly clean, awesome staff, good breakfast. Also, it's in a quiet part of town so I slept very well. I honestly couldn't believe that it was so affordable. I've stayed in 4 and 5 star hotels that weren't nearly as nice as my stay here. This will be my go-to hotel whenever I visit Portland or Vancouver. read more

If I could give this place 20 stars it would deserve them! I already miss Monique (front desk) and Tom (pm security) these two employees made me feel that this extended stay was a home away from home!! They were genuine caring and made a business stay so special with every interaction. As a hospitality professional I couldn't be more pleased with their customer service expertise! A huge thank you to Jojo the most amazing housekeeper ever. I want to pack them all back in my suitcase and bring them with me whenever I travel!!! 1. My wife has insomnia and we requested a quiet room on the top floor weeks before our visit. That didn't happen and the occupant/s in the room over ours were walking around until 1:30 or 2:00am. 2. The television is on a cabinet on a side wall and very inconvenient to watch. 3. There was no mirror except in the bathroom and it was difficult for the two of us t get ready at the same time. 4. The sink is so close to the wall that when I have I have to leave the bathroom door open. 5. The vanity is small and there are no shelves for toiletries. 6. The breakfast was very odd. We were there for 5 breakfasts and there was never any juices. The first two mornings the eggs had so much black pepper they were inedible. 7. The staff we met were always very nice. Tim read more

I checked in last minute after my daughter delivered our grandson. The staff went above and beyond to help in any way they possibly could! Monique and Billie were exceptionally nice, but the entire staff was helpful and friendly to everyone. The rooms were modern and very clean and comfortable. The pool was beautiful and I had a great time taking my granddaughter swimming. The grounds are beautiful and there is a park within walking distance. Had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend! read more

Great place to stay when you're away from home!! The staff was very nice and accommodating during our entire stay. Every morning they had a huge breakfast! It was very clean and our room was like a small apartment. We had a 2 bedroom/2 bath room with a kitchen and living room area. The street the hotel is on (Mill Plain) was very quiet and had very little traffic but we were right around the corner from everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again! read more

Absolute worst customer service experience at this Marriott. My vehicle was vandalized during a stay in October 2021. Submitted a police report immediately, asked for video of parking lot as my vehicle was parked less than 50 feet from the main entrance and they do NOT have video cameras of the exterior. Being a Marriott rewards member, I provided feedback three separate times on Marriott Bonvoy site, and never received a response. I love to visit friends in the area but will NEVER stay there again. No plans for future cameras and I do not plan on adding a $500 deductible for insurance claims each time I visit. Highly considering becoming a Hilton Member. read more

Tom the security guard is the most unprofessional employee I have encountered at the Marriott. I have been staying at the Marriott for 10+ years and I have NEVER encountered someone so rude. This is the next best place to being home. We had a flood in our house and we stayed here for 3 weeks. Honestly, I can only give this place a raving review. From the moment we checked in, everyone made us feel like family. This place is one if not the most clean place we have ever stayed at . There is absolutely every single thing you need right here.We will miss this place and the exceptionally warm and friendly staff. We highly recommend this place and I promise, you will love it here. Huge disappointment in service this evening. I made a reservation weeks ago for this location for a work trip. I've stayed here before and had a good experience and it was recommended by a coworker. Arrived tonight after flying to the area and then working for a couple hours only to be told I did not have a reservation here. I was told my reservation was for a sister hotel Springhill which is approximately a half mile down the road. I was not in the mood to argue or look anything up while in at the desk, so I walked out to the car and then looked at my email and found the confirmation. It specifically said Towne Place and the address. I was also sent an email yesterday with an offer to early check-in, so I decided to walk back in. The lady at the desk was very nice and offered to dig in further and then I was told that for some reason my reservation was moved to the sister location on 12/2. I expressed my displeasure, but acknowledge that the person I was speaking to did not personally make the change, however she stated they were full and there was nothing they can do. I requested a manager call me and let them know I was beyond frustrated. How can a hotel move your reservation to an entirely different property/hotel and not tell you, the whole reason I decided to book and stay here was because of previous experience??? I went ahead and checked into Springhill Suites as I needed a placed to stay, but as of this time I've yet to hear from anyone and do not plan to come back. read more

One of the best hotels we have had in years. Incredibly clean, large rooms with kitchens, very friendly service, free breakfast and they allow pets! They have a great park out back where you can walk your dog and there is a new pub right outside to grab a bite to eat. It took us about 15 minutes to drive to downtown Vancouver and is also an easy commute to Portland. read more

Just completed a week stay at this facility and left thoroughly impressed. With exceptionally helpful and friendly customer service, we truly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was impeccably maintained and we were very pleased with the functional nature of our 2 bedroom suite. The well designed kitchen was appreciated as we had 2 constantly hungry kids in tow. 3 separate A/C units kept everyone happy especially considering the heat that week. Not to mention a nice outdoor pool/spa, a rarity in the vicinity. So glad we found this place. It is conveniently located to markets, restaurants, and shopping centers, and with family in the area, we will surely return many times over the years. read more
