The positives- there are a couple good department stores and a big arcade bowling ally place. There will also be a large sporting goods store coming in 2023. It seems like a decent selection of stores considering this is a smaller mall. We had my daughters holiday photos done at the JC Penney portrait studio and they were awesome! There's also a great free play area for little kids and some kids ride on toys for a small fee. The Starbucks here is also really good. What I really don't like about this mall is the food court. Most of the food here is mediocre and there's not much for kids. I went to the Dairy Queen thinking they would have fries for my kid and they literally just sell chips and soda. The candy store near the kids place area sells overpriced expired candy... Anyway, we will often stop for a Starbucks or grab a soda, but other then that we always just opt to dine at one of the nearby restaurants outside of the mall. read more

Depressing.... I remember in the 80's when all the kids spent the day walking the mall and going to the stores and the foOd court. Now this place is a ghost town Nearly all the stores sit empty. The food court has only a couple of vendors At one end of the mall there is a JC Penny, at the other a Dicks sports, between them sits a vast nothingness. read more

This place is fantastic! I love the bargains, sales, eating places, the 2-story carousel, the overall ambiance. The only thing I don't like is the pushy sales people in the expensive lotion kiosk. I avoid them. read more

Towne West Square - For $1, Zoktar gives you your fortune at Third Planet - Shopping Centers Near Me - Wichita, Kansas

The owners of this mall are in bankruptcy. The mall has many empty stores. Unless someone buys them out, this mall won't make it another year before closing. One of the really positives is the Dillard's outlet stores. They are truly an outlet with low prices. Another positive is the parking. There is a lot of parking places close to the doors because nobody goes shopping there. read more

This is such a good mall I totally recommend great service they are so nice I love it there !!

After being away from Wichita (and having not stepped foot inside this mall) for a decade, I fully expected Town West Square to be a ghost-town of a mall. Seeing as that wasn't quite the case, a two-star experience was a pleasant surprise! I have a theory about malls, one we'll call the Gap-titude Test. If a Gap store feels compelled to leave a mall, then the writing is on the wall and soon enough the whole place will crumble. Well, Gap left Town West Square, and I was expecting it to be replaced by tumbleweeds. Instead, it's been replaced into some sort of retail version of an ethnic enrichment festival. This mall has the strangest collection of stores: 1. A place seemingly 100% dedicated to quinceañera dresses 2. not one, but two different places offering "Chinese Massage" 3. a store with literally no name, but sells western-wear for toddlers 4. Indian saris, with same-day alterations! It's actually really cool to see so many cultures represented in what I remember to be a pretty white-washed mall, but that doesn't mean there's much that I want to buy there. There are tons of teenager-friendly shops, huge sections dedicated to kids birthday parties and the requisite four different jewelers. Nothing really for my demographic, however. This is definitely not a dead mall. But it's sure turned into a weird one. read more

Nice mall a lot of stores to choose from clean not much on food choice but overall not a bad spot to shop at

It is good to see some new shops coming in. The mall has a relaxed vibe, but there is still ample shopping opportunities. New Mexican restaurant in the food court is AWESOME. I haven't had one bad thing and the prices are great. I'd like that there is some local businesses filling in some of the empty shops. I'd like to see more local retailers come into the mall to help continue this Main Street feel. read more

Three stars are solely for the Dillard's Clearance store. This mall is slowly going out of business. Has ALOT of empty stores. The food court has little to offer & what they do have it isn't very good. BUT if you're looking for a great deal check out the Dillard's Clearance. It's worth it! Closed on Mondays. read more

Definitely not a mall to consider visiting. I noticed many run down and abandoned buildings. It had very ghetto feeling to its surroundings. That didn't make me feel very safe. The mall itself is just one level. The food court sucks and very little in the line of attractiveness. Just not enough here to worth a trip to. read more

So this mall was a really interesting experience. Living on the east side, I have been to Towne East more than a few times since I moved to Wichita. I was driving on the west side and saw a sign that read "Dillards Clearance." Always on the lookout for a deal, I had to learn more. Towne West is the proud home of a Dillards Clearance store. This means that the entire store is filled with clothes that are AT LEAST 60% off. When I was there I got two Calvin Klein tops for 60% off plus an additional 40% off (total of 76% off). They also had dresses buy one, get one free. I purchased a fabulous evening gown for $25. These clothes are not going to be what just hit the shelves but they are great brands for a fraction of the price. I highly recommend hitting this store if you have some time to do a little searching as they have a ton of options. I also walked through the rest of the mall. I will stick to Towne East for my regular shopping as they have better options and all the stores I like but Towne West will be my go to when I am in search of a great deal. read more

Not much to offer here. Most of the store areas are vacant. Dicks doesn't stock much. Not much in the food court. I'm from out of town visiting and thought it be an ok place but NAH! read more

When walking into the store we were never acknowledged. We went to look at gaming systems we were looking at them over 20 minutes nobody asked if we needed any help. There was two guys behind the counter and only one other person in the store they never came over to help at all. Walking up to the counter to ask a question about a few gaming systems they gave us a look like we were a big inconvenience. Never did they walk over to help us at the gaming places nor went over there to point out questions that we had. Every time we would ask a question we would get a look as if we were A big inconvenience. We spent over $400 and was treated like nothing.Customer service sucks !! read more

There are more things that are closed then that are open. Also the mall itself has way too much wasted space. The food court is basically empty space. The floor could use some fixing. I remember when this place was a fun place to shop. It is sad to see how it has gone downhill. I would like to see some improvement to this place. read more

Worst mall ever I don't know how it stays open don't eat the food it's been sitting there for hours at the least most stores are all closed down read more

Towne West Square has great tenants and the mall management is working hard to do more and more creative ideas. There KidX program is awesome boasting of an Easter Egg Scavenger Hung, Back to School Bash, Mall-O-Ween is something every family in Wichita should experience, and Breakfast with Santa is a blast. If you hungry don't forget about ZYR Cafe & Greek Plus - it is some of the best food in town. If you looking for fun hit up the super bungee for backflips, mini golf for family fun, and the double decker carousel to enjoy a throw back for all ages! I love & frequent the place! read more

Towne West has OBVIOUSLY aged. The shopping center lacks thrill and people! Most of the food court was grimy, and the bathrooms were a mess! Don't they WANT customers? Plus, the choice of stores is awful. It's more suitable for an old lady than a young lady, like me. read more

I totally disagree with most people here. I'm from LA. I been to San Diego, LA, Ontario Mills, and I'll even dare to say Burbank Malls all look like small malls. This place is huge and to think its the 'small mall' of Wichita is insane. I love shopping in Kansas, taxes may be high, but prices are still so so much cheaper than Cali, I save hundreds of dollars every year I come here on clothes bring an extra large suit case if your visiting! You will need it. read more

Oh Towne West. It's a classic of Wichita, but it's getting to the point where something really needs to be done about its appearance and the stores inside. The West Side needs a mall comparable to the East Side's and they are just not at that point yet. The clientele is different at Towne West, which is interesting, but I guess telling of its state and location. I still enjoying going, just for something different, and sometimes Dillards and Express have more options than on the East Side, but overall unless you live on the West Side, there's no real reason to go here. read more

Half of the store fronts in this mall are empty and there are duplicates of the same store on both ends it's just weird. Plus getting there is not fun either it's like a maze all around that mall. Everything is run down an unkempt in the area. read more

This review is not for the mall itself but a store within the mall call Toy Factory. Worse customer service ever! I went in looking for a remote helicopter and found that they had some. I inquired on some and narrowed it down to one. The costumer rep. tested the helicopter to make sure it was working and when he tested it, the helicopter was flying really low to the ground. He went on telling me that it just needed to be charged and once it is fully charged, it should work just fine. So I took his word for it and assumed he knew what he was talking about considering when I walked in, he was trying to fix a helicopter. So I bought it, brought it home, charged it for two hours that night and tried to work it. It did work, but it never got off the ground no more than a foot! The guy told me it only took fifteen minutes to have it fully charge, but even after two hours, it still wasn't working. So we charged it overnight and still, same result. It didn't go any higher than a foot off the ground. So today I brought it back to the store and was told I couldn't exchange it for the same thing. While I understand the policies of no exchanges/refund, I feel I was cheated because I was basically sold a defective product. So the manager of the store told me (on the phone) that they can try to fix it but would have to charge me for the parts and this could take a few weeks since they have to order the parts for it. I wasn't too happy because I am heading out of town for Labor Day and would be gone two weeks and we mainly bought it for our daughter so that she could stay entertained while we were on our trip at grandparents. Long story short, I felt it was unfair that the product came defective and I didn't understand why I had to pay for the part(s) if it was already defective before I even bought it. I tried to ask the manager this on the phone and she told me that she couldn't help me and that I either leave or that she was going to call security to have me escorted out. I was pretty calm during the whole ordeal, but I just found it to be completely rude, unacceptable and not to mention very unprofessional. So at the end of it all, I just took what I bought and brought it back home, never going to that store. I just thought I share my story with everyone so that you know what to expect if you should buy anything from there. The merchandise is not worth the drama and unprofessional services from the manager herself. Once again, name of story is Toy Factory; currently right next to Deb's and Maurices. read more

Truly deserving of only two stars. There were a couple of nice stores I visited here (Candyopolis and Kichwa Pride) but unfortunately every other store seemed to copy the attitude of the mall itself: dirty and run down. The bathrooms were very uncomfortable. I'm nine months pregnant and had to take into consideration whether I could hold it or not. It seems to me as though they were going through with some remodeling, but their building in total was a complete disaster. It did not seem safe and a few stores were covered with plastics, and it didn't do anything for it's sales. I highly recommend making the drive to Town East Square, where they are much more clean and have a great selection of stores. read more

This review is for the Toy Factory located inside of the West Mall. By far the best customer service I have EVER recieved. Everyone in there is always nice and polite to me and my family. The Toy Factory is the only reason I go to the West Mall. I have bought my childrens helicopters and their favorite toys from there. The helicopters are still in the best shape they came in. No matter how many times my kids have wrecked them they still fly like nothing is wrong! I would definately say this place is the place to go to for your kids toys and if you ever need a helicopter they have the best selection! read more
