I have had a surprise party for my son, and they are VERY attentive to letting me know what it is going on with my children at all times. I wanted to particularly commend Ms. Tiffany, the Director for all her hard work and dedication. She ensures my Elementary Students and Infant are well taken care of. As for my infant, she is SPOILED by Ms. Tiffany and her Staff; my child gives me the '' I don't want to go home'' look every time at pick up. Whenever I receive pictures, she is either in a teacher's arm, hanging with Ms. Tiffany, or sleeping RIGHT next to the teacher. What is a crib to my child? Lol. Her smile lightens up the moment she sees her teachers every morning. From the beginning they have answered all my questions, and helped vanish my anxiety. Coming from a school where my children were not eating breakfast until 10AM on summer school days, to walking into a school where they have FRESH breakfast waiting for the children at 6:50 AM during school and summer days. The teachers are highly trained, and LOVE their job. To them it is not just taking care of the children for a living, the children are rather their family.

When my child first attended I was excited as they received homework and teachers seemed interested in "loving our babies". Needless to say, everything dissipated. Teachers getting fired left and right. Every 3mths there is a new teacher. No one is ever at the front to open the door or when it's time to pick up the little ones. Kids continuing to get sick. Teachers don't wear shoes nor do they have any clue as to what is going on. Teachers have stated the owner Mrs. Ham does not respect them, tells them to shut up but due to the pay in the area, they quit and come back or stay because they need a job. When brought to the owner's attention about my child's scratches on their face or my concerns about the teacher not resolving conflict, her response "what is it you want me to do about it" YOUR JOB MAAM!!! Depending on a teacher your child has, your child is more than likely to not have their diaper, pull up, or underwear to change if it has been soiled until the end of day. There have been other parents concerned about why their child has had rashes and has broken out on their bottom, because the lack and or negligence of monitoring the children going to the bathroom. let's not mention, they have cameras, however, none of the cameras work in the classroom. So if you have a concern about your child, the answer is always "oh... I don't know, you have to ask Mrs. Ham" or "I dont know." Also, please be aware the clothes you send with your children are more than likely to end up on another child's body and you would never see the clothes you sent with them. When it comes to the "learning Academy" your child would not learn anything. Once again, it really depends upon the teacher that is assigned to your child if they stay and or last more than three months. Other than that, you are better off, teaching your child at home. Don't believe me, ask some of the moms, and or dads that come out every single morning or every single evening. Enroll your child at your own risk. So much potential but very lackluster.

The owners/operators, I believe, are Morehouse & Spelman alumni and are STRONGLY focused on education and it shows. We were attending parent/teacher meetings there starting when our daughter was about 2 yrs old. At first it seemed like overkill, but by the time she went to public school at 4yrs old she was beginning to read and by the end of her pre-k year, at 4.5 years old, she was the only student in her class that was reading. Now in 2nd grade she takes advanced classes and is reading on a 7th grade level. When our son was born we headed straight back to Kidazzle and never entertained any other option. Almost three years after our daughter left, we were happy to see most of the same faces that cared for our daughter. It was like a family reunion. Turn over is EXTREMELY low compared to other daycares. What I appreciate most about Kidazzle is the curriculum, the mission of the owner/operators and the low turnover rate. Never had a problem with Kidazzle and the annual parent appreciation nights are LEGENDARY!

The owner is more concerned with enrollment and being financially successful she has multiple locations and hires minimum wage unqualified people to take care of the kids. The staff are always begging for things and follow no professional etiquette or protocol. I called the police they were helpless citing juruisdiction issues. We contacted the State of Georgia they are conducting an investigation of physical abuse. Kidazzle is one Pitiful organization.

There is no back up for the teachers that call out so the parents have to find an alternative or just call out of work. They will not issue a refund even though they are not allowing the children to be at daycare. Very dissatisfied with how the 2 owners do not reach out to parents prior to them getting to the school. A 30 day termination was provided, and the next morning the owner handed me a early termination, stating that my child will no longer be enrolled as of that day. The owner was aware that I had to be at work at 8 am, the early termination was handed to me at 7:45 am. The app is not for daily updates, it is only for signing in and out. Worker asked for me to stop calling and checking on my child and said "she was fine" . If there were actually updates on the app like they advertise I would not have to call. 0 STARS. I would never recommend, especially if you are solely dependent on this child care.

My 2 year old son has had his stomach pumped because of the lack of caution in his dairy ALLERGY(not intolerance) and feedings. I received a call to pick him up immediately because of his vomiting after eating barbecue chicken. Took him to the doctor and had his stomach checked. They found cheese. When confronting the new owner/director I was told 'he must've gotten the cheese pizza from another child's plate.' How disgusting. No empathy for my child's SAFETY. HE COULD HAVE DIED. 'Teachers' and 'Care Takers' are ever changing at ASKA. You can not get used to one face or new name for too long! If your child is injured- you may OR may not get an incident report sent home about it. You'll just find open wounds and get a story from your child about it(if your toddler is expressive). And when you ask the DIRECTORS, they either can't find the report or don't have one on hand. They explain that it will be sent home with the child at the end of the day... yup, you guessed it, it never shows. Bleach. Both of our children came home with a small fortune of clothes damaged from bleach. When I confronted the owner/director about it -- I was given $50 off of the following payment coming up. I asked for the money because I had to replace clothes. I even brought the receipts to the school AND sent them in an email. How inconsiderate to only offer a kickback on a payment far less than what I pay for each of my kids to attend. Children's clothes are expensive. Bullying. My daughter was bullied for about a month. I had no knowledge from the staff that it was the same student repeatedly scratching her face up or tearing and stretching her clothes. My daughter told me. And when we had a 'sit down' with the staff and director(after the 3rd mark on her body), I was told that if something happens again the student would be removed from the facility. Why does it take so long? We've had our children in ASKA for years. That clearly meant nothing. Graduation. We had our daughter attend the Pre-K program here because we didn't want to take her from her friends that she's been with since age 2. Ms. Williams was the absolute best teacher I've experienced at this facility. She's solely the reason the kids can read and write. I honestly hope she goes somewhere she's appreciated and cherished on school staff. Graduation was INTERESTING at ASKA. They don't want your kids to dress up. We were asked to put them on a white shirt and blue slacks(girls included). Our children were provided T-Shirts. No caps and gowns. When I asked the owner/director about this gray area she explained that the state doesn't pay for it so they will not honor it. What a waste of a title for a 'Private School'. Newsflash-- 'Nice' new ownership is not the same as courteousness ownership. My children's tuition is always paid AHEAD of time. In full. This is trashy treatment from a place that truthfully charges a lot for the area and calls themselves a 'Private School'. We can not wait for our son to start Preschool and continue Pre-K at another facility. The new family ownership is nice... but their negligence in dealing with the children attending, as well as their unsafe practices with the use of chemicals during the day leads me to believe they may not be in business long unless they change their policies and acts. Take your children somewhere else. Cause we most definitely did.

They've really elevated the daycare experience, putting children's development and safety at the forefront. The space itself has been beautifully upgraded, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that both kids and parents can feel good about. One thing that really stands out to me is the incredible focus on the kids. I've noticed a huge difference in how attentive the staff are. The new policy of no phones while on duty means that teachers can give their full attention to the children, which I truly appreciate. It's clear that the staff genuinely care about the kids and their well-being, and that's not something you always find in daycare settings. The new owner is genuinely passionate about her work, and I believe her love for children truly shines through. With four kids of her own, she has a deep understanding of what parents need and what children thrive on. What's more, she's always approachable and responsive. If there's ever a concern or question, she investigates promptly and goes above and beyond to ensure that parents feel heard and supported. It's refreshing to know that she's always on the side of the parents. With the owners' dedication, the supportive staff, and the great cooperation between parents, I have no doubt that All Star Kids Academy will continue to grow and improve. I am truly delighted with the care and attention my child receives here and highly recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a place where their child's safety, development, and happiness are top priorities. I have recommended this increasingly to people in my space and none has come back disappointed.

So my son went to the Covington location starting in August until about a week ago. They have been…read morereaching out to me about his behavior, mind you, he just turned 3 years on last month. Anytime they reached out to let me know what he was doing, I was more than welcoming to talk with my son, model the behavior that was desired and show him videos so that I could collaborate with the teacher. He was doing normal 3 year old things like tantrums and not getting his way so he was getting upset. The teacher, Amanda, would tell me how much she loves my son and how she loves having him in her class to my face but would tell the current director(who by the way is new because it was not the director I signed my child up with) that he was so horrible that she would need a break from the class. I literally heard her on a voicemail that was left with her saying negative things about my son before the Director starting talking to my voicemail. It seems like you're in the wrong field if you expect all kids to have "perfect" behavior at all times! Children are not a once size fits all type of thing and every child is different and should be approached differently. And again, MY CHILD JUST TURNED 3. He's still learning! It seems like this has been a trend over time from reading other reviews. Anyway, the director called me last week to let me know about my child's behavior and that someone needed to come pick him up for the day. My bf went to pick him up and he was told they don't want him back. Now, as an educator and a parent, I called back to advocate for my son because I do actually like the school. She was willing to allow me to take my son to the pediatrician an would have a discussion the following week because they didn't want him back for the rest of the week, ok cool, that's fine. So after I took him and the Dr told me it was typical toddler behavior, I called her to let her know strategies I use at home. She let me go on and talk to which she responded they don't want him back. The communication was terrible and I don't appreciate any of those people at that school trying to villainize my son when HE'S A TODDLER LEARNING! Not a teenager, but a baby! I would NEVER recommend this school to ANYONE! And if your child does not have the perfect behavior, don't even apply! I will leave them with a piece of advice as a veteran educator: Put your teachers in training so the can learn to deal with less than perfect behavior so they don't have to "got take a break." When you work in a school district in an urban setting, come back to me and let me know about how much of a "break" you need!!! Thanks for this Ted Talk.
