My request was for $20. I had in mind just $10 but I had to drive to Albany then changed my mind to $15. At the pump finally decided for $20. That will left me with extra $30 for anything else in my bank account. When the attendant finished up ask me if I want a receipt and after I stated no, turn the key and with terror in my face noticed the gas gauge went all the way to full. Immediately check my bank account to discover an overdraft. This guy filled up my tank!!! When I asked him he just said "I'm sorry, it was my mistake". That's it? What a way to obligate to pay for a non requested item and now I will have to pay $35 in overdraft fees just because an attendance don't pay attention on his job. I'm sure that there is anything that I can do because I will use the gas in the future time but this guy put me in a so bad position because I'm loosing money now. Just be aware if you load gas on this station, make sure that they don't filled you up by "accident"

The gal that served me was attentive to me. 8 pumps, 4 other cars, she got to me when it was my turn. I didn't expect her to come running the moment I turned off my car. I and another car arrived at the same time, it pulled into the pump in front of me. Another car was across from me and another on the other side of that car.

The guy who manned the pumps was fairly friendly and was used to people from other areas who were not used to the process. He was reasonably efficient and kept up a conversation about it while he filled up my car. I appreciated his help. On the whole, though, this strikes me as appallingly stupid. It is reason #1 that I would not live in Oregon. Why not extend this to restaurants as well - hire some additional people who cut up and feed you your food. That makes equally as much sense... I appreciated this station even more later in our trip, when another station attendant, managed to pull the nozzle out early (for whatever reason), spill gas all over the cement, and then require me to do a 2nd credit card authorization to complete the fill-up (prior to returning the rental car the following morning). I'm not the sharpest guy on the planet, but I do not recall having done this maneuver. If you have to visit Oregon, just be prepared for this. I was at least satisfied with the service at this Chevron in Covallis, though.

The guy asked if I wanted to use my 10 cents off a gal, and I said yes. For whatever reason, I eventually looked at the receipt and see that I did not get my 10 cents off, even though it says I did. I contacted Safeway, and it was like "bummer, nothing we can do about it," so today I went to Philomath customer service and the woman treated me like I was an idiot. He came out and was still talking on speaker phone. The whole time he had to ask me 3 times how much I wanted because he cared more about his conversation. He kept going into the booth to talk even though there were 5 cars waiting. And no one who was waiting was in the self serve. Teach people to not be on there phones if they are doing a service job. Asked to use the bathroom, and I was told to use the porta potty out back. Not a problem - I have used many a porta potty. But when I opened the porta potty door, the smell of human excrement was overpowering, and the pile of excrement came up as high as the toilet seat so that it would have been disgusting to sit on the seat, or even to attempt to hover over it! Obviously, I could not use this john, and since I had to go pretty urgently, I had to leave to find a CLEAN station. No purchase of gas, no purchase of supplies ... I could not even buy a cup of coffee there, I was so angry and disgusted. If a station does not allow use of its clean bathroom, and refers paying customers to literally a S***hole, then they do not deserve my business, and they do not deserve yours either. Then there's obvious issue: can a business that disgusting serve clean food and drink? I doubt it! YES, it is not only a gas station, but a convenience store with espresso shop attached as part of the station. Do they keep a clean kitchen? Is there mold and bacteria growing in their prep equipment? I think the answer is obvious, if not questionable. I gave ONE star because you cannot do a review with NO stars.
