I'm still a big fan of little pharmacies and this CVS location is my current favorite. I can always rely on the ladies who work here to point me in the direction of the latest sales, clearance items and the like. I love window shopping (and purchasing:) the makeup aisles, hair care and seasonal items here. Recently I've been battling a bad case of tennis elbow (I know, wtf...I don't even play tennis) and have had to pick up several prescriptions here. They are always ready on time and the pharmacist always makes sure I don't have any questions and tells me exactly how to use my medicine. It's a painless process as it should be when you're in pain. I also got a flu shot here when my guy came down with the flu. He was still cute as hell but miserable and pretty much made me get the shot. I'm glad I did and got a coupon for doing it! Can you say winning?! In conclusion, this CVS has it all. Friendly employees, great service, plenty of parking and awesome sales.

After I finishing up my workout and picking up a few item at the Albertsons across the street from this Walgreens. I parked in one of the designated spots for curbside pickup. I checked-in letting them know I was there and the number of my parking spot. Before I even had time to relax an employee came out with my items. I'd say it was less than 3 minutes after my check in. I like this curbside option. It keeps me out of the store away from the idiots who would rather infect others by not wearing their mask. Quick, fast, efficient, safe and friendly employee. I'd definitely do it again.

Well after being put through the embarrassment of that accusation it was determined that he had not done what he was accused of by this employee. (A heavy set white lady with a very bad haircut). I wish I would have gotten her name but unfortunately she didn't have her name tag on her shirt. She did not give this gentleman any type of apology after falsely accusing him of shoplifting. I put in a description just so management if they happen to read this can sit down and talk to her about this incident. Not only about accusing this man of doing what he didn't do but about not apologizing to him afterwards.

Can I give a HUGE shout out to Ackel's Pharmacy on Fortune Rd my son's allergy medicine is not…read morecovered by our private insurance or Medicaid. However, his pediatrician did an override and we've been getting his Allegra through Medicaid for a while. I just called the pharmacy and I was told that the medicine is not covered. I explained that it was always covered so why now it's not? She didn't have an answer. I told her that I would research it and thanked her. Before I could even start to look into the situation, she called back. The explanation was that Medicaid did some changes and kicked the override out of the system but all was good now. This is a prime example as to why I do not use Walgreens or CVS anymore because customer service is poor and lazy. I literally had a Walgreen's pharmacy employee roll her eyes at me while I was holding a sick baby. CVS apparently can't push numbers into a system and you are a bother to them. Examples: Few or no store brand diet drinks are carried. Sugar-free items are extremely limited. They are often out of their own specialties, more-so than other nearby WM's. It seems to me that there is ZERO customer-to-purchasing agent communication here. Couldn't they even check to see what folks in their immediate area are ordering for home delivery from WM on-line ? Recently, the pre-packed deli potato salads' seals have been opened. I have to return items frequently. Last week, I had to go through six containers of potato salad to find one unopened. When I tell employees of this, they just ignore me. Broken grocery carts are just returned to service w/o repair. We customers keep putting them aside, but the workers just put them back into the que. Their defects are obvious. As I must shop other area WM's in Lafayette, New Iberia, Crowley, & Baton Rouge; I note them to all be in better overall shape than Broussard's. Sad, Rick .
