I purchased my favorite Willie's huckleberry cream liquor and she let me know the new salted caramel one was delicious so I took her word for it and got one of those as well. We also picked up one of Willies whiskeys, Cattle Dog, and the local Orphan Girl Bourbon cream that was a local only favorite. The space feels true to…read moreits setting--a classic Montana pub with a relaxed atmosphere and a well-rounded whiskey selection. Service was friendly and unforced, which suited the place well. The Montana Burger was the standout. It tasted freshly prepared, with crisp bacon and properly caramelized onions that added depth without overpowering the burger itself. The Cranny Coins ( tater tots) however, were heavily salted and distracted from an otherwise well-executed plate. Still, the burger alone makes this a worthwhile stop if you're in Dillon.

The facility is beautiful and so comfortable for visiting, attending events, and more. The history…read moreof the business is really fun to know. I am gluten-free and was typically sipping on their fairly flat seltzer drinks. My husband drinks their beers and says they're ok. Recently they have started offering wines! But, their red wines are chilled, which ruins the experience; a good Pinot Noir deserves to be enjoyed with the full-flavor and body at room temp. The service is usually pretty good, with someone behind the bar- but often there is only 1 person. We often wish there were more live music- a space to go and sip and enjoy tunes! There is a trivia night, but we stopped attending as it is no fun trying to be competitive when the MC gets intoxicated and struggles to maintain a flow. Overall, it is a good brewery for being in Dillon- but it is the only brewery, which means there's no competition to improve.
