They took my info and full payment then told me it would be 2 hours at the most. 2.5 hours later, its only gotten an alignment (before the tire install for some odd reason). I ask how much longer, they go check and say 30-45min. I asked if they could absolutely be sure since I had to get back to work. The guy comes back again and says its now another 1.5-2 hours. Yeah NO. Demanded a FULL refund at that point. As I was leaving, 2 bays were wide open and empty; the tech were playing around in the shop, not working on cars. I have to share a story. I went to Pep Boys for brakes and they sent me a photo of a tire that was bald saying I needed tires. Because I knew my tires weren't bald and the photo wasn't mine I didn't get them. Today I Just went to Town Fair in Manchester and the guy went outside with me and measured the depth of my tires. He says I can get more than 5k miles on the ones I have. The reason for my story is Pep Boys in Manchester is a scamming liar, making fraudulent claims to make money while town fair tire two times now has been 100% HONEST!! Review Update: Initially gave them a 5 star for getting new tires, alignment, and balancing. But I experienced vibration issues at constant speeds between 35-65mph. I brought it back to them and said that they would rebalance all 4. Same result, brought it back again. They said they would rebalance again. I saw my car enter the garage after a while and then almost 10 minutes later, the rebalance was "done". So I'm confident that they did not balance all four wheels; if they did, not properly. Sam said that it should all be good to go and that it may be a mechanical problem. Drove it off via 293 and vibrations persisted. So I brought my car to another shop to evaluate my suspension and tires. They deemed that mechanically, my car is in good condition. They mentioned that my wheels were definitely not balanced multiple times after seeing that there were no other weight marks aside from when it was first done. What is the point of making an appointment and still having to wait 4+ hours for new tires? And then when I drove off the lot they were t even filled to the recommended PSI of 35. Only filled to 31,32,39,30. Ridiculous. Always used the store in Concord without any problems. My husband stopped here for tires in the way home from work and ordered mine, too. Purchased all 4 tires from them a few months ago. Made an appointment for my first tire rotation. Arrived 10 minutes prior to the appointment. Had to wait over 3 hours for them to do the service. Why make an appointment if you still have to wait so long?! Also they did not have complimentary coffee in the waiting area. Almost every other vehicle maintenance shop I have been to has had complimentary coffee. They did however had vending machines. So you can see the store priorities right there. got a price on replacing 60,000 mile tires that had worn out at 40,000miles . credit was about $300.00. Made an appointment for the work . When I went for the work . I was told that they could not honor the 60,000 mile warranty because they did not have a record of my maintenance. i informed them I do my own maintenance and rotate my tires at every oil change , which is 5,000 miles . They dont have that recorded which was going to void the warranty. After some disagreement. They decided to give me the credit I was Insisting on . I'll go somewhere else next time . I went to this location as I've been there before. I don't know what happened, but there must not be good communication between staff. After my winter tire change over, I realized they only put two of my winter tires back into my car! I called and spoke to someone who also seemed angry that this happened. I eventually got them back, but the word "toss" is written all over them and won't come off! Who only takes 2 winter tires back with them after a change over?? I will never go back here again. I bought a set of snow tires for my 2020 WRX two years ago. My car was brand new. No mile drove it off the lot. They installed my snow tires on my WRX stock wheel. The Tech scratched my stock wheel. When I told the manager he said, " I need to talk to my Tech who inspected it". So he did. Good thing the Tech was honest. The manager referred me to a guy who refurbishes wheels. Town Fair Tire covered the cost. I went back to Town Fair tire the following winter. I bought steelys for the winter tires I bought the year before. when I swapped them out and I left. The manager called me up and was under the impression my wheel lock was not in my car when I left. I told him it was then I checked to see if I had the correct one. I did, but I noticed that one wheel lock was loose. So loose I can take it off by hand. DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT use the Manchester,NH store. I was there on Tuesday to have two tires and an alignment done. Took 2 1/2 hours after I made an appointment to have it done. I didn't walk in off the street, I made a actual appointment. When I showed up the clerk was flirting with this woman for about 10 minutes while I stood as the only one in line. It was pretty pathetic to see. She was getting a little uncomfortable with it, she left abruptly. Finally being helped, I paid for a rear alignment and the two tires. Clerk then says, I'm not sure we can do the rear alignment, after I paid. Then he tells me 90 minutes or less it will be done. Then he proceeds to laugh at and make jokes about my name. I eventually just walk away to the waiting area, kind of not believing what just happened. 2 1/2 hours later car was done. Alignment guys says they couldn't alignment it properly to bring it to a dealership. Won't refund my money for the alignment. Then hands me my center caps for the wheels and tells me it's to cold to put them on. My car was in a heated garage for 2 1/2 hours how cold could it be. This was the mist insulting, unprofessional operation I have ever seen. I was surprised when I walked to see that it wasn't very busy. After my experience with them, I can now see why. What's even worse, I did send in a complaint through email on their corporate web site, and have not even got as much as a courtesy reply. I am in the service industry so I definitely understand GREAT service and that is exactly what I received. Steve was awesome when ordering my tires. We will never buy tires here again or do any business whatsoever with this company. I highly recommend you consider another shop if you need tires or service. It started at 9 am when my husband was told that he could bring his truck down for tires and they would take care of it, and also told he should hurry so they could fit him in. We dropped his truck off at 9:30 am. At 3:30 pm the truck had not been touched. I had a commitment in the evening so I had to drop my husband off to wait. And wait. And wait. He did not have tires put on his truck until 8:30 in the evening. There was zero communication about timeline or expectation that his truck would be held hostage for an entire day. When he called TownTerds in the afternoon he was put into an automated system and when he finally reached someone, he was told they had no way to estimate timing, there was a computer problem. Prior to this experience I had heard about this same exact thing happening to someone to last week, but against our better judgement, we decided to give TownTerds the benefit of the doubt. I have a problem with the air Preusse in the front tires. I went in and told the person at the desk what the problem was. He said that Chevy Silverado all have the same problem. I asked if the store could take a look. He said No because not enough help. I So made an appointment for Wednesday. I went in on Wednesday and the person told me right off the bat that it would be $45. to grind something inside the tire. Keep in mind the tires are not even a year old. (11 months) I felt that this was just another way to sucker the old guy (I'm 70 years old) into something that he wasn't sure about. He never step outside the store to look at the tires. This guy is a genius to be able to diagnose this issue at the front desk. I asked him how he knew this. And the responds was, that he He was trying to find (me) to let me know but I didn't follow him around. I took my keys and left. He is right and I'm just a old dope. Thanks for always giving me great service despite the fact you guys are so busy - the busiest I have ever seen. The people complaining about the waits, I was called way after the store was "closed" because they are so busy and so understaffed they are working 12, 13, 14+ hour days at times. I feel bad for their families. They are only closed one day a week. They are hurting for help but make it work and have always been so nice to me and gotten me great deals. People need to be patient. An absolute nightmare from beginning to end. It started with haggling their high prices down with the rep saying all their added benefits were worth the added price. A year later I haven't been able to use any of their advertised "extras". Free tire changeover? Only if you schedule a month in advance! I ended up going to Tire Warehouse and they did it in 15 minutes! Free tire rotation? Definitely don't just try walking in for that. You have to have an appointment! Right so appointments aren't that bad.... Then I get a flat... Free flat repair they tout! I make an appointment come in and no they can't fix it because it's not in the exact middle of the tire! So then I ask if I can finally get that free tire rotation they talk about. Nope you're tire isn't safe but we can sell you a new one for 100 dollars plus installation! What a scam! I went to Tire Wharehouse directly after with no appointment and they fixed it in under 30 minutes! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Really anywhere else! You'll save money, time and you won't have to deal with sales reps selling you crap. read more

3rd strike for a long time customer. I could write up the first 2 strikes but won't waste my breath. This time my 10am appt for 2 front tires didn't get finished until 1:40pm. This is an hr job at best and they knew I was waiting. After I left I noticed something in my front end was rubbing and discovered my front passengers side splash guard was all tore up from hitting something. Presumably the lift. I warned them it was low and all I got back was a smirk, like I didn't need to tell the professionals how to do their job... and yet here we are. I didn't even ask you to pay for a new one. My first time there and am very happy. They are very busy so it's best if you set a appointment and or drop off your car. I see a few poor ratings but considering how many tires they sell I would say the vast majority are happy. Also had them put tires on my mother in laws car. She had prior vibration at highway speed. Slight scrape in rim. They could have sold her a new rim but said no it should be fine. After the new tires she still had some vibration at 65mph. Took it TF Nashua and they checked everything greased bearings and NO CHARGE! Seems to be fine now. Used to go to Costco but they were always too busy to rotate my tires plus they don't do alignment Town Fair prices were the same and service was much better. These guys know tires. read more

My truck rims were badly scarred from them not properly securing the rims on the balancing machine. The counter service employee acknowledged this, and acted like it was no big deal. I reached out to their main office in Connecticut and spoke with an individual that offered to pay for the damages after seeing the photos I sent. Needless to say after 4 weeks and several attempts to get the money for the damages I have nothing. Buyer beware this company is not worth your time or money.
