I love taking the harder classes like Empower and then having a good stretch with Align, but sometimes the core classic class will also kick my butt and I always feel like I have had a good workout. Like that there is a good variety of classes offered and they have added a bunch of time options which helps me find a time that works. I've been coming to John Dullea's for a few years now…read more For $10 per session this workout can't be beat. The one hour class starts off with light stretching and escalates into a cardio warmup. Once you get warmed up, he has you go through multiple rounds of different punches on the heavy bags, with some plyometrics mixed in. After you finish on the bags, you will partner up and work with pads. Then, after you have thrown your last punch, the class finishes with 15 minutes of "ab torture". From beginning to end you never stop moving (at your own pace), and regardless of how hard you push yourself, you will sweat like a suckling pig. John is a legendary trainer and he is as friendly and personable as he is knowledgable. His classes consist of people of all ages and body types. If you are a beginner, he will make sure to keep you up to speed with demonstrations. Great guy. Great workout. I wouldn't go to any other boxing gym.
