I went in to see if the list had shortened, my name had been removed by Cindy the manager. I had a not so pristine past but Cindy assured me things were fine. I called when I saw my name removed, Cindy told me she moved me to the bottom of the long list and I may never even get a rental. Three years of my life, waiting, towards the end I packed and was looking forward to moving. After Cindy told me she moved me to the bottom of the long list I went to see because she bends the truth. I was still not on the list. I called Cindy from the hallway and she told me I was never number 4 and that she never said she put me back on the list. I have WITNESSES to the fact that my name was on the list and she lied AGAIN to me. Cindy juggles people around at will without any regard to how she ruins their lives. I have talked to several people she also did this to. Cindy is a liar and deceptive and should be removed from her position.

I have pictures and will give examples. 1-the showerhead, the water comes out and drops. There is no water pressure at all. It just trickles out of the showerhead.. my cousin was a large person and could barely fit in the shower. 2-the freezer was disgusting in the little tiny refrigerator. It was filled with what look like red juice frozen at the bottom of an un defrosted freezer.. 3-the closet is not a closet. It didn't even have a door. The only outlet you could use was in this " closet" with one hanger, there was also no hair dryer no coffee nothing we're talking serious bare minimum. 4-The paint was peeling 5-the bed was sitting on top of a wooden box frame handmade where big metal pieces came out and almost took my toe off! 6-they have pictures of lounge chairs everywhere on the beach. Let's be clear they did not exist nor did beach towels so not only do you not know that you have to bring your own beach towels to a beach Motel you have to bring your own chairs to sit on the beach.. if it wasn't for the staff, it would've got a worse review.. this place is down and dirty so if you're looking for something bare bones, this is your place. 7-housekeeping they said it came every day. The only thing housekeeping did was enter and do nothing except to give you a clean towel they didn't even take the dirty ones out..

STAY AWAY! DO NOT RENT!!!…read more Not only is the landlady unresponsive to the concerns of residents, you will be left to live in unsafe conditions! We rented our first unit in July 2009. Being that it was an older mobile home unit, the issues we had were pretty much expected. The on-site maintenance gentleman was always there to help us when we had an issue. At the time, we had a good relationship with our landlady. However, when it was time for us to move, we were forced out quite quickly because she had already had a new resident set to move in within a couple of days. When we moved into out second unit in June 2012, we were not given back our security deposit from the previous unit. It had been "moved over" to this one, yet we were never told what the interest earned was. (So now we have no idea how much security deposit money is held within that escrow account.) Work was being done on new windows. It ceased on that day, leaving them incomplete and not insulated. during that winter we had ice on the inside of our mobile home unit. Nothing was finished until March 2013. The painting was never completed, there is been peeling paint and flaking paneling the entire time we have lived here. The BIG kicker... a hole along the bottom of the wall big enough for me to stick my arms through and grab the back of the trailer skirting!!! We have been dealing with a leaking roof, mold issues, and this place smelling like a rot. During all of these issues, I had to contact the health inspector, the building code inspector, the fire marshal, and still nothing was done! Everything finally went to court! Completely ridiculous! Once it reached that point, we were no longer "the territory" of the on-site maintenance guy. WHAT?! I am out of here in five days, and I cannot tell you how absolutely ecstatic I am. I have NEVER, EVER in my ENTIRE life dealt with something so absolutely disgusting! When it reached the point where I was taken by ambulance to the hospital, just yesterday, because part of that ceiling put water mold into my lungs when pieces fell on my face... THAT'S IT!!! DO NOT RENT HERE!!! You will never receive a call back, your issues will not be taken care of, you will be completely neglected! If you own your own mobile home, do not rent a lot here. You will not have anything taken care of as far as trees in the lot hanging over your property. Your mobile home will be damaged, it's happened to many who have lived here!

My dad is now a resident at Masonicare in their assisted living section. He's been there a little…read moreover one month. The staff is friendly and helpful. The facility always looks and smells clean. They provide rides to doctor's appointments and have relationships with excellent healthcare providers and a pharmacy that delivers. I toured three facilities before choosing Masonicare and am SO happy with this choice. My dad likes the location, "most" of the people (LOL), and says the food is "pretty good" which is pretty high praise from him. (Before he moved we tried Meals on Wheels, which he described as "inedible".) They have a lot of activities and although he doesn't participate in all of them, he's enjoyed the ones he has. He has a one bedroom apartment with a walk-in closet, and a small separate living room and kitchenette, which works well for him. Although he'd prefer to be at "home" (now sold), he says Masonicare is a good second option. This really is phenomenal given he originally refused to consider assisted living. Highly recommend checking out Masonicare if you are looking for either independent senior living or assisted living.
