If Castaic towing is your towing company to come get u well don't hold your breath for too long. I am part of the many bad reviews on this yelp app and I am going to put mine because I am here with a friend on a Saturday night sitting in the car being told hour after hour that they're coming and still here doing nothing in my car paying for a membership that's supposed to save me from these hassles Anyways hope that helps After two hours of waiting, I've bombarded the texting system that AAA responds with and they provided another towing company velocity towing to come get me and it only took him 15 minutes to get here So if AAA tells you, Castaic towing is your provider keep asking them for a different towing company so that way you don't waste your time with Castaic towing read more

The driver arrived in a timely manner. He had the SUV hooked up and ready to go in a few minutes. Like the quick response. Thanks Vicente! read more

Stranded on a desert road, and it's gonna get up to 100 degrees today. Car died. Called AAA. 9:50am, Castaic: we will be there under 90 minutes. 11:20am, Castaic: oh we so busy, someone will be there under half an hour. It's 11:34am, not sure I trust the new ETA..... Edit: it's 11:51, no sign of truck. read more

I give them a -10 if I could. And AAA too for using this tow company. I've been a member for over 2 decades. Worst service ever!!! We called for a tow for my husband. First we were told 30-40 min. Then a text said two hours. Then another text another hour. It is now almost FOUR hours later and still no tow truck. When I called in to AAA on hold extremely long time. Last call in to AAA we were cut off and agent pushed the call, forwarded to the tow service company. This is after we asked if AAA was going to remove this call from my annual services. Castaic tow have me a line saying we're so busy... BS Similar I called in a few weeks ago needing my motorcycle towed. AAA dispatched to Castaic towing. They said 40 min. Then two hours. This is such poor service. Two times in a row issues with Castaic towing. . I'm extremely unhappy with this service and long wait times for a Castaic Towing and AAA to assist. read more

Just called this place. Asked "do you tow for triple A?" dude said "no" and hung up on me, Haha. Some places just don't need your business. This place doesn't. read more

Requested service through AAA their customer service was unresponsive and did not uphold their ETA. It would help if I could speak with someone instead of being told by AAA they they're " arriving soon". As of writing this it's been 3 hours read more

I had 1 of the best experiences breaking down 81 miles from home. Thanks to AAA and Omar @ castaic towing. Omar was absolutely amazing. I even called Castaic towing to let them know what a great experience I had. I spoke with Alvin. ***** 5 stars to Omar. THANK YOU SO MUCH OMAR. read more

excellent customer service and satisfaction. friendly, reliable, on time and all with an excellent attitude, and for a tow company that speaks volumes. not once but twice this year i needed their services ( i own several used cars ) and both times my driver arrived on time, with an excellent attitude and went above and beyond to ensure the safety of myself and my vehicles, by far not your average drivers. this company hires "better" and "outstanding" employees. thank you castaic towing read more

Horrible customer service. They got dispatched by AAA for me for a breakdown on the freeway. What originally was supposed to be an hour, wait . It turned out to be an almost 3 hour wait. My original tow truck got dispatched to another call. And when i spoke to their dispatch, they kept lying about their response time. AAA should not be in business with them. read more

This company and their staff is a complete joke. Two days in a row waiting for them to show up to tow my vehicle that I had scheduled through triple A. Triple A should be ashamed for still using this company as there is many many reviews of this place leaving customers with horrible experiences. Lions Towing will be getting my business from now on! read more

Have been waiting over 3 hours since Ive put in a call to AAA for a tow. My second call i was told they would be here in 30 min. And still a no show. My 3rd call i was told they are not answering. Now i see why they have horrible reviews. You would have to be a complete idiot toc call Castaic Towing for service. read more

Absolutely the worst experience ever. I broke down Friday along the grape vine and AAA dispatched them with high alert as I was in dangerous heat and on the shoulder of the freeway. I waited the expected time for them to arrive and called for an update which I was then told I'd be another 2 hours! By this time it was over 100 degrees. I waited and waited, kept being told it'd be another hour. Eventually called a private tow which came in 20 minutes! To add to this horrible experience Towing Castaic called me 4 times at 1230am before I picked up to cancel my tow. I was already in bed asleep! Who in their right mind would call someone in the middle of the night for that! Incredibly angry with how unprofessional this company handled this situation. read more

Horrible experience! We placed a call through AAA twice for a service tow and both times they were assigned to this place. 1st call placed at 4:30 PM. Second call placed at 7:00 pm. Calls which were cancelled by this towing company. This was on a Saturday afternoon 06/12/2021. I understand being busy but a courtesy call would have been appreciated to advise that they were at capacity or that they simply didn't want to take the call. My husband, our son and our dog were stranded in the middle of nowhere 65 miles from home. We got home at 11:30 PM. If you do not like your AAA rates then renegotiate or cancel your agreement. read more

Called AAA due to a dead battery and was assigned Castaic Towing (Used to be Lyons towing all the time so not sure why it changed). Anyway, looks like I may have dodged a bullet after now reading all the past reviews. My personal experience was excellent. They arrived within the time frame I was told they would. Got a text to say they were on the way and then the technician, Mike, called to say he was almost there. He was very nice and professional and helped get my car started plus gave me tips on what to tell the car dealer when I take my car in. It was 4:30pm and I was in a parking lot so not quite the same as being stuck on the side of the road like other reviewers. But nonetheless time is precious so I was glad it wasn't longer. By 5:45pm I was on my way home. read more

There is no way in hell that I would wish working with this company on my worst enemy. We were nearly stranded at 3 in the morning after waiting three hours for the tow to arrive. He threatened to leave us there. He and the lady on the phone at castaic lied to us and to the CHP officers about when they arrived. They wasted our time and tax-payer money with their laziness and carelessness. This place severely deserves to go out of business. I mean it sincerely. read more

My Toyota Avalon had a totally dead battery, which I had tried to jump-start on my own, with no success, and had tried a slow recharge of the battery to reattempt starting. No luck. I contacted AAA, since I have the towing and battery starting services, and the technician, Robert, came out from Castaic Towing to see if the car could be started, or tow it to my regular auto service place if starting wasn't possible. Robert was very friendly and courteous. After looking over the battery and connections, he suggested that we try jumping with his 24 V battery from his truck, and also suggested we retighten all the battery connections. All this took just a few minutes. Lo and behold, the car started right up! He suggested running the engine for a few minutes to make sure all was in order, which worked A-OK. All in all, I only have good things to say about the service technician, Robert, the service he provided, and was very happy in up and running with minimal hassle. Kudos! read more

They don't pick up or respond. Waited 5 hours and no one ever showed up. Triple a tried getting a hold of them multiple times as well with now response. Worst service ever. read more

I called AAA for a tow and they sent out tíos company. The driver refused to tow the car without me riding with him. Not only is this against the rules for COVID he was not wearing a mask. Do not call or use this company. I'm high risk of getting sick read more

I have no idea why Triple A uses this company they are the worst...we've been waiting since 12p yesterday and no one has showed up yet.. triple a keeps saying 40-50 mins and still saying the same shit...yesterday we got a message with the drivers phone number the 1st we called him he sounded sleep... the 2nd time we called there were kids playing in the background... still never showed up... I called this morning they said the driver came at 1159p and no one was there with the car and he took a pic of the car...smh!! Now we are waiting for a driver that was supposed to show up at 952a and still no driver... it's 1035a and we are still waiting... this is unacceptable for Triple A and Castaic Towing... I have used AAA for over 8 years and never had an issue. Our company trucks unfortunately break down every now and then and we need immediate service. Today Was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a AAA vender, Castaic towing. Their manager is extremely rude and I can barely understand what he is saying, while talking 100 MPH He tried to explain that there was gonna be some overages but couldn't tell me what that cost was. He also mentioned I had to be at the auto repair shop before they towed the vehicle even-though they're the company that towed it there. I left work to meet him there at the repair shop. They refuse to tow the vehicle from the auto repair shop and left before I showed up. I called Castaic towing and they told me to go find a different company to help and Hung up. If I own that company I would definitely fire the manager. That explains the one star rating. You guys suck! read more

Had the misfortune of getting these crooks sent by AAA for a flat on my F150, no tools, needed to get towed tried to shake me down for extra money to tow it on my AAA. apparently an F150 is to heavy for the tow truck with AAA but not if you pay cash. Lousy service obviously cheapest provider AAA could find. read more

The absolutely worst service and ran business I have experienced.. said they would be to my house by 4:55 am and by 7 am they said they were just dispatching someone.. this was after two follow ups saying they were en route read more

Juan arrived within 20 minutes of my call to AAA and delivered excellent service. Fantastic job with highly recommend

I don't even want to give 1 star but 0 was not an option. My boyfriends 2 kids (one adult and one minor)were stuck in the middle of the street at 9:30 pm - called AAA and was told tow truck would be out in an hour. We made the drive up to Santa Clarita from Orange County and beat the tow truck there. Called AAA again and was told now we had to wait 3 hours until midnight for tow. Kept calling Towing Castaic and no one would answer. AAA was called at least 10 times. Finally after waiting almost 6 hours no call no show from towing company, we gave up. Called this morning and Lions towing has been wonderful! Car was towed in less than an hour. Please don't ever use this company...they do not care if children are stranded!!! Make the call to Lions instead or request AAA to send them instead. read more

I had a great experience with Castaic. Yes, they were busy, but I was constantly updated. Edmund arrived. He was very nice, polite and efficient. He hooked up my car and got it to the mechanic in no time. Thank you Castaic. read more

My truck was broken down at 2 am. It took them an hour for them to arrive. When the driver arrived, he denied to tow me because he said my pickup truck was too big. He then explained that towing a pickup truck with bigger tires and a lift kit is against policy. But then said that he could tow it for $500 more. So you're willing to go against company policy for $500? George (the night manager supposedly) said he doesn't need my business, he has 800 other cars to tow. Terrible customer service along with very bad management. read more

Update: Reduced a call at 12:30AM 3 days later from the night manager!!! 12:30AM... I have to be up at 3:30 for work! The woman calling said rudely that she was the night manager and wanted to talk about the scathing review of my service. I asked her to call back later around 8am since I would be up and actually working but would have time to talk. She told me that she must talk to me NOW. I again requested that she call later in the morning and she hung up. Have not heard ANYTHING from CASTAIC TOWING since that late night call... WORST TOWING COMPANY I HAVE EVER SEEN... read more

AAA said they would be at my location at 9:53. Tow company sent me a text if I had any questions to call & talk with manager. Called 2 times. Dispatcher said she was in charge & only one in office & she was the best they had & told me it would be another hour, then hung up on me. Called back & she stated the was looking for meg. Then left me home hold for 45 min. Will never call for Service or refer them to anyone. Also let AAA know the problem. POOR customer service read more

I needed a tire change yesterday. I went through AAA and they assigned this towing company. They are the worst company that I have ever worked with. After waiting one hour and a half for them. I called and they told me that they would be at my location in 20mins. I waited and waited and they never came to help me. I waited a total of 3 hours. I never got a call back back from them for any updates. At the end I got tired of waiting and changed my own tire myself. I complained directly with AAA and informed them not to do business with this company. I will also be putting a formal complaint through the Better Business Bureau. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! read more

ONLY reason I'm even giving 1 star is Because you her to give 1 to post a review. Its a ZERO STAR rating!!! So, I called AAA n told Castaic Towing would tow us wait was about 1 hr. Very poor customer service etiquette!!! read more

Worst tow company ever, I don't know what AAA contracts with these guys, they have 2 good drivers I've dealt with, but overall the company and management is trash, I've called to complain several times and they will not put me in contact with the owner. Drivers along with managers are rude and think their the gift from god in the management world. I got treated like if they really didn't need my business anyways, they know they have way more customers. I pay extra premiums for motorcycle towing and are not equipped to do the job. They expect us to help them with the job and get mad, throw a fit and walk away because they did not arrive with the proper man power to complete the job. I'm only one customer so maybe my post won't matter, but I hope it reaches someone that cares about us the costumer , reaches out and makes me change my mind about this company,"Castaic Towing" being trash, the worst company ever....3 months later, I'm still waiting for a return call from the owner. Which they told me would call me right back. If I could give it negative 5 stars , I would read more

This is not a real towing company. I only discovered that after waiting EIGHT HOURS for a tow. They said they were "local", they are not. It's an internet scam. Their "service" takes your money upfront, then calls a "roadside assistance line" that in turn calls an actual local tow company (which ended up being Precision Towing) to do the actual job, we only found out because we were so frustrated for the no-show with this non-towing company that we started calling other local towing companies and this one knew all about our job! The dispatch person told us they were being engaged by a "roadside service" company. And that they were being paid $200 (we were charged nearly $300). If you try to cancel the tow they will charge you "50-100%" of the fee! They promised us 60 to 90 minutes pick up ( we were stranded in Castaic town) we discovered the actual towing company had not been notified until THREE HOURS after we put in the initial call!! Unbelievable! We were getting calls from all over the US (calls randomly routed from Phillipines - where their "help line" is based. I have two young kids and a wife, and this 8 hour wait was like torture!! Someone ought to report this company, at least to AAA to remove them from their roster!! WORST EVER EXPERIENCE! The WORST!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! read more
