It was interesting but not something I would do again. There are a lot of stairs which may be hard for some and should be taken into consideration as the elevator was inconsistent. First, we were told it was out of order. Later, we saw people waiting for it with an employee so we waited as well but it was such a long wait we decided to continue with the stairs. The little encouragements from the cat was cute. The glass walkway was not that long. If you're afraid of heights, there is room on the side so you don't have to walk on the glass. read more

The Tower Bridge Walkway is not one of those sights in London that you will regret the rest of your life if you miss but it is certainly worth seeing if you are nearby and have an hour or so. The Walkway is on the crosswalk above the roadway. The Tower Bridge itself dates from the nineteenth century and is an impressive structure. It is very ornate as typical of that period. It isn't the fabled London Bridge which came tumbling down however. The Walkways, for which there is a charge, provide some spectacular views of the Thames. The Bridge is a lift bridge to allow ship passage upriver and the old lift machinery is on display. I visited the bridge with my eight year old grandson, who is easily bored, and he enjoyed it. I am glad I went but don't have a desire to return. read more

This bridge is pretty amazing! At first I was hesitant about doing this, but I'm glad we ended up doing it. It is a part of The London Pass. The Tower Bridge is one of my favorite landmarks in London and the views from the bridge are amazing. I love how there are glass on the bottom of the walkways on the bridge, so you can get a cool view looking down. There are also very amazing views from the bridge from their normal lookouts too. I loved reading about the history of the bridge as well, very cool!! I'd recommend doing this exhibit. Even if you're not sure, just do it! My company just had its summer party and it was held at the Tower Bridge Walkways - these are the bits which link the North Tower to the South Tower at the very top of the bridge. The party was very well organised and we had some nice entertainment laid on (and free booze. Yay!) but, that's by the by because I'm here to tell you about the venue. As well as the Walkways, which can seat about 120 people for dinner, you can also hire out the North Tower Lounge which holds slightly fewer people and the Bridgemaster's Dining Room which has a capacity for about 20 people, I think. But it's not cheap. I was reliably informed by one of the lift operators that the Walkways cost about £1,000 an hour to hire. During the day the Walkways house The Tower Bridge Exhibition and this was all cleared away, bar a few interesting wall mounted fact sheets, for our party. The space is about 8-10ft wide and about as long as errr Tower Bridge and we had a champagne reception in one walkway (let's call it the west walkway) while our dining area was being prepared in the other. There were about 100 people at our party and, because it's such a narrow space, the round dining tables lined one side of it all the way down. This meant that you could only really see the people who were at the tables next to you while seated and there were lots of instances of people not even realising that other people were there because they couldn't see them. While we were eating the west walkway, where we had had the champagne reception, was being prepared for the entertainment. At this time it was still quite light outside and, of course, you do get some fantastic views from there even though it was quite a dull day, weatherwise. I think they warn you that it can get a bit cold up there but I found it very comfortable, especially in comparison to the whippy weather at ground level, outside. As it got darker they put on some mood lighting which was ideal for seeing the views of London lit up and there was pleanty of room inside for the entertainment which included a dancefloor, a toy car racing track and a couple of drinks tables. I was really impressed with this venue - if only for the views - but the staff were all really friendly and this helped keep us all in a party mood. This bridge is definitely the representation of London as a bridge. It is not only majestic but beautiful piece of art when you visit in person. You can come to visit this place as a student and buy a combo ticket of 6.20 pounds that includes also a tour to The Monument, another amazing place to go in London. I highly recommend buying the combo ticket and go to both places in one day. The area around the bridge can be quite windy, so I would recommend bringing a jacket. In addition, this place also has some of the nicest souvenirs in London, so I would get souvenirs here. The Tower Bridge walkway also includes many photos of other amazing bridges around the world. Decided to surprise the boyf with a trip to the glass walkway - but with a queue to use the lift, we bravely/stupidly tackled the stairs! However the view over London was well worth it :-) For some reason we were expecting a glass walkway that reached the entire length from one tower to the other, but in truth it was actually quite short - and as we had gone on a Saturday evening, it was packed meaning we had to queue to just see the glass walkway. For those who have a fear of heights, tread carefully - as it can be quite surreal seeing the cars and the river below! It was quite funny as people who were worried about walking over the glass would instead walk around it - but due to how funny the situation was, resulted in a jokey light-hearted atmosphere. Definitely recommend going at sunset - views were incredible! read more

The Tower Bridge Walkways are part of the Tower Bridge Exhibition. You need a ticket to get up to them but the whole exhibition is worth a look. Originally these were open to the public and were for people to be able to walk across the bridge while it was open (which used to happen a lot more often than it does today). Now of course, with considerably less need for the bridge to be open, and a lot more (and a lot lazier) folk crossing the bridge, the walkway can be used for more recreational purposes. Why do they get 5 stars? Well, where else can you get this lovely view of the River Thames, while learning about the history of the bridge, while ALSO having a glass floor from where you can see the cars and pedestrians below you? And the other walkway is open for banquets. If I could afford it I'd have my birthday party there, because it would be awesome :) So yeah, visit the walkways. They are ace! read more

Tower Bridge (and Big Ben) is definitely the most iconic place all over London. Walk over it and enjoy stunning views of Thames & London. If you are lucky, you may even catch the time that opens and see it fully opened ! There is also the Tower Bridge exhibition allowing you access to the upper part of the bridge (with tickets of course). The exhibition itself is not something special (quite small with some historical info about the bridge), but the fun here is a small part of the bridge, which recently opened to public, having a glass floor. It isn't so scary as you'd expect! Go for it and enjoy the cars passing just below your feet! read more

We attended a wedding reception here (in itself was great but my review is on the actual venue space). The pros - very beautiful views from both the West and East walkways. Nice evening lighting inside and they had heatlamps that helped in the evening (even though technically it's supposed to be Spring in London). the soundsystem used was excellent. The cons - the party was divided in two - those hanging out in the East Walkway and those hanging out in the West Walkway - so easy to have party divided. the Walkways are narrow so when it gets busy, it's hard to get by. And for us smokers, any time you need a cigarette, you have to get into the slow lift to back down to the bottom to go out. But overall, cool venue. read more

My experience on Tower Bridge was awesome. Walking on the bottom is a fun view of the Thames and also, if you're lucky, you'll see a boat pass underneath. However, going on top is a must. It is a beautiful view of London and the Thames is incredible. Also, unluckily for those of you who hate heights, there is a fun glass (I think!) floor to walk over and take a selfie! You can take stairs, or take the elevator! However, when I went, it was broken. I also recommend going into the machine room. They show all of the mechanics. Eighty years ago, men had to operate the machines by hand. However, now a days, there is electricity, and it isn't powered by people! The machines that operated the bridge were beautifully painted. One of the machines was running! I also totally recommend getting a souvenir in the gift shop! read more

The Tower Bridge is obviously a very iconic landmark of London and well worth a look. You can walk over the bridge and there is actually an exhibition inside the bridge which I didn't go to but have heard good things. You can get great views of the bridge from outside the Tower of London and also immediately on the other side. It's pretty spectacular and the history of it is quite incredible. read more

Had a family ticket for under £30. The lift ride up is a tight squeeze. The tour was well signposted. The tour design made the most of the utilitarian building built for work only. There was a bridge exhibition. The glass walk ways above the bridge looking onto the street below was scary but showed off the wonder of the scale of the design. We couldn't quite understand how the steam engine lifted the bridge bollards but there in lies the mystery of the engineering feat. Must do for young teens doing an engineering degree. DO NOT HIRE WARNING! do not hire this venue, they are complete clowns and are very disorganised and ruined my brothers proposal. Not worth the money at all! All those years in London and I only yesterday went to see the famous bridge :) It was fairly easy to get there, which is great and the bridge itself looks way better then what pictures show. It is definitely worth making the trip to see it! The exhibition is not crazily expensive, it's £9 per adult and the glass floor is scary! but worth experiencing :) While you there go to see the bay, we were surprised to see the buildings there sit on the water, it looks like Venice and the water goes so far inside the land! read more

Our wedding was held at Tower Bridge in September 2017. It was greatly spoiled by the very poor service we received from Tower Bridge Events/seasoned events-The Perfect Wedding Company. We would not recommend them to anyone. The venue did not close to the public until much later than our given time to set up for our wedding, furniture was still being set up long after our guests arrived which threw all timings for the wedding and reception out of sync meaning dinner was very late, the band could not play a full set and guests were already leaving as the cake was cut, music was not played as planned, champagne was served to only some of the guests for the toast, the manager was extremely rude, we could go on. It was very embarrassing for us and spoiled our special day. Almost a year after our wedding, tower bridge events wrongfully continue to display photos of our private wedding for their own marketing purposes (including photos of the bride and groom) without any permission from us on most social media platforms. After my most recent complaint about this, they promised someone will contact us. It is now 6 weeks later and still no one has been in touch despite reminders. Any comments we make about the wrongful useful of our photos or the poor service we have received are deleted from the social media platforms by Tower Bridge Events. read more
