I was very unsure which area to stay in, but I'm so happy I chose CCB because the location is absolutely perfect. Back Bay is very nice and safe. You even have a wonderful park just outside the doorstep to walk around, and the lovely Boston Commons only two blocks away. Check-in/out was one of the most seamless experiences I've had with hotels/airbnbs. I didn't have to check in with anyone, and I received the door code a few days before. They have a lovely dining room for guests with homemade cookies, fruit, coffee and tea. Unfortunately I didn't take advantage of the breakfast, but I'm sure it's great too. CCB is really the perfect mix of a hotel and bed/breakfast. I was unsure about doing the solo room with a shared bathroom, but other than having to wait for the other guest to finish his shower so I could take an urgent bio break, it was no issue at all and I would hands down do it again. I'm pretty sure the other floors have a bathroom if you absolutely need it though. For the location, price, comfort, and amenities, College Club of Boston is a no brainer. I got the please to quickly meet the GM on my way out, and she is super sweet. I even left my airpods in the room, and without hesitation they are shipping them back to me. 5 starts forsure.

My niece loved the ping pong ball bath. She jumped in it about a dozen times. (Side note if you plan on doing multiple attractions check out the My City Pass app for package deals that include access to view Boston) The 52nd floor is the enclosed viewing deck, one floor below on the 51st is the open air viewing area, and just below is the exhibit area and restaurant on floor 50th. Definitely check the weather forecast before booking the day and time you want to go so you don't end up here on a cloudy/rainy day with no view of the city.

The rooms are uniquely decorated and offer some great views. My room overlooked the water. So, cool view. Amenity-wise, I usually put significant weight of my hotel opinions based on the fitness center, concierge lounge, and restaurants. While this location didn't have a concierge lounge, it did have a really good restaurant. I had some amazing breakfast. Fitness-center-wise, they had enough options and equipment to offer a good full body workout for a hotel. Overall, I was happy with the property and will look to stay at the same place during future visits.
