A truly unexpected find hidden away in a tiny village in the French Alps. Our meal started with a…read morefabulous cocktail on the terrace overlooking a picturesque valley. Our meal began inside a wonderfully decorated chalet with a fig and warm goat cheese and fresh herbs. We shared a delicious lake fish (don't know the name in English), which was presented whole and fully cooked at our table. The waitress then expertly cut and cleaned the fish and served it to us. We finished the night with a rhubarb compote and a panecotta. Everything was terrific and I'd highly recommend it if your passing through the area!
