I had an amazing experience at Touche! Terra was my stylist and she took my extremely long and curly hair (down to my butt!) and turned it into a sleek, fun style at my shoulder-blades. The color work is incredible- my hair was a dark brown and she brought it up to the most beautiful multi-shaded bright blue that is exactly what I was hoping for. The price wasn't low, but for as thick as my hair is and the amount of work it took, it was 1000% worth it. Everyone was also being very careful to observe Covid precautions, the Salon itself was clean and bright and the atmosphere was lovely with all the stylists and staff being friendly. $500 later I have a Brazilian blowout that left my hair flat and lifeless and a color job that left strands of my hair red and orange. They were very friendly but I got passed off to someone else to do the job. I didn't realize how bad the color was until after the first wash. If my hair was unable to do what I asked for then I wish they would have just been honest with me instead of wasting my time and money. read more

i've never had any problems going to get my hair done until now. I went to this location on July 3rd to get my hair cut and colored darker. I have naturally dark brown hair but wanted to recolor it black. I take very good care of my hair and have had it dyed previously about 3 times. When I came on July 3rd, it was brought to my attention that the stylist was using semi-permanent dye when I wanted a permanent hair color for the amount I was paying. It came out to be $150 and I tipped her $5 to be respectful. I would have tipped more, but I am a college student and am on my own. 3 weeks later and the dye has washed out completely! And i had random brown streaks in my hair (???) I use salon shampoo specifically designed for colored hair and everything! So i called to see what was going on (since i did pay a lot for it) and they scheduled me for a consultation today. This place is 25 minutes away so I went out on a limb and was hoping to get the service I thought I deserved. I have never experienced this kind of rude customer service until this lady consulted my hair. After she was fixing my hair, I heard her talking about me to her coworkers! And when she came back, she proceeded to tell me she doesn't have time to even blow dry my hair because she has another client coming in. So i walk out with wet hair even though I had to be at work in 30 minutes! Never coming back. read more

After yet ANOTHER hair disaster at a "Posh" salon, I stumbled upon Touche by fate. Thank GOD for the stars aligning and leading me to Nora. My hair was a nightmare. Not a mess-a complete trainwreck! Over-processed and chopped up-not at all worth the $230 I paid for it. Enter Nora-although she had to cut off the grossness (a LOT of hair), it's super cute and I LOVE it! It didn't cost HALF what I paid for the mess I arrived with. I went back a second time for color and trim and she was just as awesome. I'm back on track, thank Jesus and Nora! OH, and I HAVE to compliment Ken at the front desk. The most PERSONABLE appointment setter, EVER. Like, someone you really want to be friends with because he's so charismatic. Last evening I went to Touché Salon for the first time. I was immediately greeted and offered a bottle of water to drink while my stylist was called. I was very happy to have that bottle of water as I have long hair and it takes a while to get it right! No sitting in the salon chair dying of thirst! Mars is my stylist and I have been going to her for over a year now. She always gets my hair color just right! I add highlights to my dirty blond hair to make it brighter. When she shampoos my hair she also does a relaxing scalp massage. The décor is modern and the music not too loud. This is a great spot to get your hair done. Ask for Mars! read more

I'm giving Touche hair a 2 star bc of my horrible experience with my first hair dresser, Chris. It was then redeemed by Tabitha. I made a quick appt with Touche, not knowing who was who at the salon. There was no mention of scaled hair dressers by price. Chris, apparently is a "1" which is the cheapest at $34 for a haircut after my service; that kind of explained everything and more. I was greeted with a neutral face and monotoned voice. The first thing Chris did was yawn and tell me how tired it was bc it was "nappy nap" time at 2pm. He barely spoke to me, which i find as rude for someone who does hair. He obviously didn't seem to care about the reputation of the salon. The only time he said something was to butt into the stylist and customer next to us with a cynical, unwelcome comment every now and then. His hair cut was even more atrocious and half-as*ed than his customer service. Let me tell you that I have regular, thick healthy straight black hair. He cut it within 4-5 minutes, failed to check the lengths or do any maintenance snips, failed to put any serum on, then continued to curl my hair with a curling iron. It looked like a pre-teen had curled my hair for a part of a school play on Charlie's Angels if that even exists. Okay, so you might be thinking that I should have said something. But what could I have said? Can you do a better job at cutting my hair? How come my hair looks NOTHING like the new lob wave hair that I showed you a picture of? I got in my car, looked in the mirror, tied my hair bc it looked so crappy, and hoped that after I washed my hair, that my hair cut would look alright. Maybe he was a hair genius bc the new receptionist told me the level of the hair dresser didn't mean they lacked experience... WRONG! my stupid pregnancy brain should have spoken out. After I washed my hair and dried it and even straightened it to try to make it look better, my hair was basically in 2 separate layers. I was livid and it looked like I just got scissors and cut hair off of my ponytail. my hair looked very heavy on the bottom. I called Touche with my complaint, so their only saving grace was to give me a hair cut by someone else with no extra pay... They tried to get me scheduled with someone who was a "2", but I managed to get an appt with Tabitha who is a "4"? Only that she wasn't available for 2 weeks. So I waited 2 weeks, wearing my hair up the whole time bc of how embarrassing my hair looked. 2 weeks passed and I managed to make it to my 9am appt with Tabitha. I came in at 8:50am, and the receptionist tells me I'm early *roll eyes*. I waited and even saw Chris. I wanted to complain, but I held my tongue. Tabitha gave me a 3-5 minute complimentary "deep" conditioning and worked on my hair. It was an average, clean cut. Nothing extraordinary, just plain and simple. She was meticulous and cleaned up whatever Chris failed to do. Tabitha was good, but I wouldn't pay $50 for a haircut by her. And if I wanted a hair cut like Chris gave me, I wouldn't even go to super cuts. I'd just get really bad scissors and cut my pony tail off. read more

This review pains me to write. I was a client for well over 10 years. No more. I had a process in May that went terribly wrong. I texted the owner/stylist that evening saying that "My hair looked like straw and was truly awful". Crickets...Not one solitary word. Weeks went by. I canceled my next appointment. Still nothing. I finally texted the owner/stylist yesterday. His reply, I asked my staff to schedule you fora deep conditioning and I had no idea they didn't". Really? I was texting you, not your staff. And, you just threw your staff under the bus. And, btw, pretty much admitted that you have no control, or followup, with your staff. Bottom line with the text conversation was that when I canceled he decided to just leave me alone. I've pretty much been alone for 7 weeks. I'm a pretty easy going person, but even I figured out that I was not a valued client. Not valued as a friend either. read more

Well. I had really high hopes coming into this place for sure! I was greeted well and the process starting out well. The hair color is not what I asked for. The whole under part of my hair had no color difference after the process was over. It looked the same as when i came in. The cut was completely uneven.... It's been almost two years since I first sat in Amberly's chair, I remember it as if it were yesterday. I was in shock having experienced what I now jokingly refer to as a real life "HAIR-MARE"at another establishment. I had just lost my stylist of 10 years to retirement thus I found myself having to utilize another stylist/salon. Despite my due diligence I was left front and center to a Hair Nightmare that left me speechless with regret, anger and disappointment. I found myself in desperate need of someone I could trust ASAP. When I walked into the salon where I first met Amberly I was equally grateful for her empathy and validation about my experience as I was her honesty and confidence that together with time we could fix it. She was so knowledgeable, and despite the 6 months it took just to bring my hair back to life I'm now almost two years in her chair and am finally back to my desired hair length. When Amberly started working at Touché Salon it could have been a dark alley and I still would have followed her, fortunately a high tech salon with vibrating/reclining shampoo chairs was a welcomed treat. Yesterday I called Touche Hair Salon hoping to get some insight on how to fix my not so great bleach job that I did at home. Upon talking to them they told me that they did not have time to talk to me about my problem and unless i wanted to pay to have my hair done with them that they could no longer further the conversation with me. The person with whom I spoke to was very rude and condescending about the whole thing. If a hair stylist is just interested in my money and not how the bad bleach job came about so that they could fix it, whats the point in doing hair anyway? read more

So I first went to touche salon 2 years ago when I first moved to kentucky from wisconsin I got my hair done and it wasn't anything special due to what I wanted at the time. Yesterday I remade an apt with tiffany, I wanted an ombre style that matched my natural color at the roots and very white silver highlights throughout my head. The process took about 4 hours and tiffany took her time and make sure the quality would be superb. When the process was done I was left with the most beautiful head of hair I've had since leaving california. Tiffany truly is passionate about what she does and it shines through her work. Although I only had tiffany do my hair once she is definitely somebody I will trust for a long time. Also the salon offers olaplex which is a state of the art product added into the hair dye/bleach that makes the hair withstand the damage. Today is my second day since having my hair done and it feels healthier then before I went in. I know this is a long review but I will give credit when credit is deserved. If you have any doubts about making a drastic change see tiffany! You will not be dissapointed. read more

It's taken me forever to find a good stylist so the idea of not being able to find another and having to start the process all over again was so daunting. However after reading reviews I called Touche and spoke to a lovely lady who really helped match me with Tabitha! I arrived 5 mins early, I was greeted with a smile and immediately offered water or coffee! Once in the chair i explained that I was nervous after only letting one person touch my hair for 10 years!
