I found Gianni Electric on Yelp, requested a quote on the app over the weekend, they replied quickly with a few extra questions and took down my contact info. They got Alec out the next day for a quote, and he came back the following day for the install. We probably could have gotten the work done a bit cheaper if we went with some self-taught handyman off of thumbtack, and I could have done the work myself (though it would have taken me a lot longer and probably would have made a mess in the process); but plumbing and electrical are two things that are worth paying a professional who has a license and insurance for. The price was reasonable and pretty much spot on what we had guessed it would cost us before reaching out. The whole process was pretty painless, and we'll definitely use them again, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends.

They walked me through some steps and suggested there must be a GFI switch that controlled the outlets, but none of the outlets appeared to be GFI. They stayed on the phone while I flipped breakers again, but that still didn't get the outlets to work. They said it would likely be expensive to send someone all the way to Port St Lucie from West Palm but they would give me an estimate to help me decide. All in all, we were on the phone about 10 minutes. I was about to text them my address so they could figure out the distance and determine costs, and decided to look at the outlets one more time. Turns out, the previous owners had painted the outlet plates, so I had to look closely to see that one of them actually was a GFI. After resetting that, everything worked fine.
