Marie is the absolute best. I've had maybe 3 massage therapists over the last 15 years and she tops them all. I a different massage every time. I don't know how she does it. I received a massage from Touch of Healing as a Xmas present. I decided to use it last week and I am glad that I didn't pay for it myself. My massage therapist Thomas had ice cold hands for about half of the massage. It was very hard to relax due to this. Also during the last half of my massage I heard a big thud on the door which startled me and someone pushing paper under the door. That took me out of the relaxed state that I just got into. I then heard my door open and the massage therapist pull keys out of his pocket and give them to someone. It was the most unrelaxed massage I have received. :-( UPDATE: I received an email from Thomas offering me a free 30 minute massage BUT I could upgrade to an hour for $25.... I don't think so. The email seemed pretty unprofessional and he added that him disrupting the massage was for the best. This email was a little creepy at parts and unprofessional to say the least. read more

The manager commented to my previous review stating that I have it wrong, I didn't go to this location. That's completely untrue. She said they have never done 2 hour massages through groupon- what I meant was that we had (2) one hour long massages through groupon. My wife had one, I had one. Each was an hour long. And to lie and say there were not two men working there upsets me even further. You're calling me a liar. Me, the customer who was treated so terribly. And yet, scroll down a little and you'll see reviews for male massage therapists. Specifically one named THOMAS. I'm happy to share the receipt from groupon showing that it was this business and exactly what dates we had appointments. An apology, some sort of assurance that this experience wouldn't happen again to another person- anything else would have made me feel better about this experience. Just finished my first massage here with Marie. She is AMAZING! I had a kink in my neck so got a deep tissue massage and Marie took extra care of me to make sure I was comfortable and walking out of there better than I was before. The staff is wonderful and very caring. I don't know the name of who helped me up front initially but she was a pleasure to meet with. If you're looking for someone with long term experience that knows a variety of techniques that are right for your specific needs, Marie is definitely recommended! I really don't want to write a tepid review as the staff was nice. I searched for a massage therapist on yelp and bought their coupon special. I just moved here and miss my awesome therapist in my previous city. They switched massage therapists on me. I booked online with Marie since everyone raved about her on yelp. The replacement was ok. Chatty. But she pushed religion on me and to me that's not ok or professional. The message was a 60 minute deep tissue. It was so so. Not great. Not terrible. After they pushed me to make another appointment. Not once but three times. This really turned me off from wanting to go back. Had they just let it go after one "let me check my schedule first" they may have received more business. But pushy gets no more business from me. Disappointed. read more

Yelp voucher for $70 only costed me $49, and that was pretty sweet. Was a little nervous when when the staff originally told me yelp voucher didn't cover shiatsu- the only reason I got the voucher for my husband for Christmas but they did honor it and I was happy for that. My husband had Janell and he raved about her. The staff was friendly and my husband felt very pleased with services and the variety of treatments they offer is a plus. He will be rebooking with them. The only reason I gave 4 stars was that the receptionist quoted they didn't honor Yelp voucher for shiatsu and said she's call me back after she spoke to someone and I had to call her back a couple days later. She knew exactly the right areas to massage and I felt she was very in tune with my body. Her energy is great too! I normally don't talk during a massage but I felt so comfortable with her and she is such a kind soul! I am so happy my husband bought me a membership here. Worth every penny! The rest of the staff at Touch of Healing is great too! I have received 3 massages there and all have been great experiences. I highly recommend this place and if you're looking for a great Deep Tissue massage, Marie is the BEST out there. She has a heart of gold and a passion for teaching and healing. I made an appointment a few days ago - they are not easy to contact. It seems to be a group of people - arrived 10minutes early as instructed. Place closed and temp. outside is 110F. No-one arrived - got a phone call to say that the appointment was cancelled. They claimed they had tried to contact me by phone. I suspect they are very low volume and the person involved could not be bothered to come in for a Groupon massage. I had a 50 min round trip drive. They could have left a text mesaage or emailed me. I will not be returning and will get a refund on my Groupon. read more

Wow! Marie did a great job! I've had a lot of massages in my day and I always looove it when a therapist mixes it up a bit and doesn't do all the "ordinary" things most therapists do. Touch of Healing in Mesa has a lovely location. I chose to sit outside instead of the waiting room so I could soak in the bubbling fountain and swaying palm trees. The massage room is very spacious, dimly lit, and decorated the way a massage room should look. The sounds of the outdoors that played during my massage were wonderful. Marie is great at what she does. It is no wonder this place is successful! read more

I had my second reiki session with Celia and she is absolutely wonderful!!! She is very sweet and professional in her sessions and then allows time at the end for a full summary of what she found and you have the opportunity to ask her what the meanings of they experiences you felt during the session. I am very new to the metaphysical community and was slightly skeptical walking into my first session but now I am a full believer! I even think my last session finally pushed me into the last phase of my awakening! Update 3/25. I really wanted to be able to say that the massages were worth going through the bad booking experience we had, but I can't. They were just okay. Ambiance was very nice and the in-person customer service excellent, but probably still won't return. 3/21. Haven't even been to get our massages yet and I have to give this place a 1 star so far. On March 4, I called in to redeem a Groupon Massage for myself and my boyfriend to use on Monday, March 24. I talked to a female (Angela, I believe) and after a few phone calls back and forth, we were both scheduled for 11:00. On March 17 (almost 2 weeks later), my boyfriend received a phone call from a male there saying that a mistake was made and the appointments needed to be rescheduled...mine at 1045 and his at 12:15. When I attempted to call them back, my phone call was not returned. I finally reached them today, and they say nothing can be done about it other than rescheduling both of us sometime after April 8. Seeing as we are only in town a few days, that will be impossible. So...appointment kept (just to use the Groupon) but my boyfriend will have to wait 1 1/2 hours for me, then I will have to wait 1 1/2 hours for him. Not a very relaxing time. Very disappointed and hope the massages make up for some of this extremely poor customer service. At least their reviews look to be promising. At this point, I will not be returning on future trips and will not recommend this place to any of my numerous friends who live and/or vacation down here. I started with Touch of healing with a Groupon.( I had been seeing a chiropractor for neck and shoulder pain. It seemed to help but not enough.) The staff treated me well from the very beginning. Tyrell has always been helpful, friendly and kind when calling in or at the office. So far, I have had 3 massages at this establishment; the last 2 were therapeutic massages. My LMT, Janelle, is fantabulous. She is knowledgeable and professional and knows just where to target. I cannot begin to say how wonderful my experience at Touch of Healing was! I was gifted with a Groupon for a 60 minute Hot Stone Massage. I was apprehensive as my experience with massage was not a positive one. The booking process could not be easier. You can go online and customize your session including the therapist. If you do not have a particular therapist in mind, you at least have the option to choose whether you would prefer a male or female therapist. I booked my appointment, and was sent 2 confirmation emails prior to my appointment. This was extremely beneficial to me as I am often so busy with my daughter's activities that activities for me are often forgotten about. The location is very easy to find, and the roadside signage is extremely helpful. The office is very inviting and tranquil. Soft music is played and there are no annoying "clinical" noises. The desk staff was very pleasant and the paperwork very minimal. I was offered a glass of water and directed to the restrooms, good idea to use them before the session! I cannot begin to describe the wonderful person my therapist, Bertha, turned out to be. She did a very thorough, reassuring consultation before the actual massage began and we had a very nice, enjoyable conversation throughout the massage. I was relaxed and at ease the entire time and Bertha was very gentle with her technique and the movement and placement of my limbs. At the end of the session, I was offered a glass of water and some at home stretches to try to help alleviate my back pain. It was recommended I come back in two weeks however I did not feel bullied or pressured to make an appointment. I was given a card and a menu of services and a wish of a good day. Overall, I left feeling so relaxed and awake I couldn't wait to tell everyone about my experience. This was my first visit and I loved it. I called last minute and they got me in the same day. I usually don't write reviews unless I get bad service. That seems to be the norm for most people. Keep that in mind when reading reviews. It took me a couple weeks to write this review because I didn't want the word to get around about how good this place is. I realized that was selfish so here I am. I've been to a couple other local places I found on Yelp and they don't measure up to this place. I've also had massages at resorts and high-end spas that were good but not outstanding.. It's not the biggest place but that's what makes it feel more personal and intimate for lack of a better word. I reserved a 60 minute massage but switched it to a 90 minute when the 60 was up. I didn't want it to stop. She didn't make a fuss or make me feel bad for doing it. I even think she worked into part of her lunch break. I expected the quality of the massage to taper off towards the end but she finished as strong as she started. She asked questions before she started so that she could zero in on what I wanted. Unlike other massage therapists she didn't talk throughout the massage. That really let me go into deep relaxation and that's why I get a massage. As much as it was a pleasure to talk with her, she knows there's a time and a place for that. She is passionate about what she does and is into total health issues not just massage. They gave me a printout that showed my trouble areas and things I could do daily to help with the pain. This place is worth the money. I'd pay double for the service and quality I received. I can't believe I wrote so much. Just got on a roll and this place deserves it. read more

Bought two vouchers. Could not schedule an appointment for the longest time. They do not answer their phones. I needed an appointment for my friend and myself at the same time. When I finally got the appointment, 2 months later, it got cancelled at the last minute. Then they promised a reschedule that same week and a free gift certificate. That did not happen either.
