I write good and bad reviews.. not just when things are bad. I am a yelp elite because I want to…read morehonor business that go above and beyond. But this experience was HORRIFIC and DANGEROUS. I can't be silent anymore. Where to begin.... First and foremost, this is my opinion and my experience after much intended research. DO YOUR research. She markets herself as someone who is natural, but her first line treatment for my sleep issues was a benzodiazepine. There was ZERO follow up, zero check ins and zero support. Since April of 2023, I have been in and out of detox centers, as after 5 weeks I started feeling sick. The ER told me I was in withdrawal of a benzo. This was the scariest time of my life. I don't drink or do drugs wasn't seeing a psychologist or psychiatrist and now I have a huge team helping me fight ALL of this. I have spent so much money, almost lost my job, almost lost my life after being prescribed a benzo with zero education. She never told me I could become dependent or go into withdrawal. Cheryl just told me I would sleep. And it worked! But it almost cost me my entire life. I went to Cheryl because I thought she was more natural and would help me. That is not the case. This has been so scary and to be honest I just wasn't educated. It cost me 45k to go inpatient. I had to see a psychiatrist and multiple psychologists to help me through this. I am a recent cancer survivor and to be honest, in my opinion surviving cancer was a lot easier and less scary than benzo withdrawal. I am writing this so it warns others to educate yourself as this is SCARY. This altered my brain into manic and I have been fighting for my life almost 6 months now. I'm grateful to still be here to my new team who checks in on me, who monitors me and who listens to me. When I reached out to a Cheryl she didn't believe the benzo could cause these type of problems, but in my opinion and experience I needed more monitoring and I needed to be listened to, and I needed someone who was educated on prescribing benzos. Most psychiatrists in Arizona post ont heir website they do not prescribe benzos. This is sad because a more natural marketed NP is prescribing these drugs and does not have psychiatric background and understand how scary these drugs are. BE AWARE and educate yourself on drugs prescribed by this NP. Also, when reviewing our texts- she never once said please schedule a visit, so we can reassess. She didn't even believe I was in withdrawal from the benzos. She thought this was hormone related and after a lot of different doctors all their expert opinions including the ER, a psychiatrist, and cardiologist- I was in benzo withdrawal. She never once sent a text asking how I was. When I told her about my issues she didn't even respond to to the ER like the other doctors did. So her message back is just untrue. I never felt monitored or supported. I felt blindsided I could have even gotten dependent on this drug. But I was never educated on it, period. If she had said let's get you scheduled and reassessed I would have considered it, but she never told me that's what I should do. Why would I go back in when I was so sick, and she didn't say there was anything she could do to help me.

Renée is really helping me focus on areas I have not before and therapy feels a little more serious this time which is good. She has taken her time to diagnose me. Which I really appreciate. That type of service goes a long way when you need documentation from a provider. Love this practice! This is the best care I've received since I've been on my journey with mental health.

She guided me through these challenges in a way that completely changed my relationship with them. For the first time, my boundaries are clear and respected. I also came in with long-standing anxiety, and Emily helped me understand my triggers and respond with more clarity and calm. I am noticeably less reactive, more confident, and better equipped to handle everyday stress. This has positively influenced my business, my relationships, and my overall wellbeing. Emily has supported me through deep personal and relationship work, and I have grown more in a few months with her than in years on my own. I used to be hesitant about therapy, but she changed my perspective completely. Even now that I see her less often, I plan to continue on a maintenance basis because her impact has been life changing. Hormone therapy can be expensive. You are constantly getting lab work done, every 2-3 months to verify your hormone levels. Melissa Salgado is their receptionist and she does a great job; and so much more. Amelia was my practitioner and has an amazing warmth and I really felt comfortable with her and Paula as well. I don't mind being farmed out to other practitioners but they should have the same follow-through is the original one. They just dropped the ball so many times. I left them feeling really disappointed. The lack of follow up and follow through was really lacking. When my labs would come back I would have to chase them down to get somebody to call me back. For the amount of money I'm paying I shouldn't have to chase them and continuously call and leave messages to get some type of response. I do not feel they were aggressive enough with my treatment and because I wasn't buying all the add-ons. I feel like I was a waste of their time and they didn't treat me or care the way they should have. I know there is a range of where they want your numbers to be... But some people don't fit that range and sometimes they need more. Everybody's body chemistry is different... hence the customization of the pellets.

I would do well for awhile and then something would trigger a relapse even though still on medication. The most recent trigger was learning my husband has a serious health condition. Dr Nead told me about TMS and that got me headed on the right path and followed it up with a different medication that was prescribed after a blood test to make sure my chemistry gets full benefit from this choice. I am confident I will continue on this positive path. Dr Nead includes you in the decisions made regarding your therapy. He explains the pros and cons of what is available and wants your confirmation that you agree with how to proceed. The only down side is you have to file your own insurance. I know that can be a hardship for many. Without the TMS, it should be doable for many.
