I go there for Zach and he's been my barber for years. The place is always clean and has a good vibe. I appreciate them being serious about taking everyone's temp upon arrival and asking safety questions during Covid. One thing I have to point out is when I call to make an appointment the person answering the phone lately is a a little aggressive and I'm not really sure why. I'd expect a better experience on the phone but that's not a reason for me to stop going there. I just wish she's a little bit more welcoming. But overall the place is very good. read more

I started going to Touch Salon in the fall of 2014 when my hairdresser, Celeste, started working there. I've only had her do my hair so I can't vouch for anyone else. What I do know is that they are very friendly and professional and the salon is clean and well kept. The prices are reasonable and they offer nail & spa services as well. I highly recommend Celeste as she is the only hairdresser I've ever had that I trusted to dye and highlight my hair. I've been going to her for 6 years and always feel like a movie star after she cuts and styles my hair. I had a great experience with Vanessa! She took care of my hair and gave me professional advice on how to manage my hair routine. I thought the salon in general was decorated nicely, however, I wasn't given the full experience. They greeted me when I walked in, but they did not offer and beverage or snacks. It's possible that it was busy, and it slipped their mind, but hopefully they get better with giving every customer a great experience. I will definitely see Vanessa again for my next haircut! I went here for a blowout in March for my bridal shower. It was easy to find and very modern inside. Very busy on a Saturday morning, which is good! However, I wasn't overly pleased with the end result- honestly, I could have done the same thing at home with my blow dryer, especially considering that it was pricey too. I love that he took the time to go over what I wanted, and was honest about what would work, or not work, with my hair and color. I've gotten lots of compliments on my haircut and color. OMG!!! I could not be more happier. I have been talking about getting a haircut for the longest time but always put it to the back burner because I always got so busy. It got to a point that today I just said enough is enough, I'm cutting my hair. I called this morning to schedule an appointment with Brianna and the scheduling could not be easier. I was able to call today and go in the afternoon to get my haircut. The salon is welcoming, clean and everyone is so friendly. They involve you in conversations and make the experience relaxing and so much fun! I usually travel to nyc to get my hair colored. The salon I used to go to (Marie D & lou)had 5 stars on yelp with hundreds of reviews. Unfortunately, the salon closed recently so I went on a hunt to find a salon and was willing to travel as far as NY to find it. Little did I know the salon I was looking for was right in my backyard! As soon as you walk into Touch salon, the ambience and the open concept interior was something I have not seen at any NJ salons I had been to. I was greeted and intoduced to my stylist Vanessa upon entering. Vanessa was AMAZING and took her time and the end results were better than I imagined!! Vanessa gave me the best advice for my hair and she did not try pushing any products or services. She would ask me what products I use and if she liked them too she would clearly state that its an amazing product and to continue using it. I also met one of the owners of the salon and he was SUPER approachable! You can tell that this salon was created by people who truly enjoy/love what they do, and filled with amazing artists. Touch Salon did a great job on my hair and makeup trial for my upcoming wedding in October! Julie was fantastic and Anthony, the owner, was a pleasure. There was a little misunderstanding about a booking but the receptionist handled it very well and Anthony was able to move some things around with Julie to allocate enough time to get both my hair and makeup done in the morning. They fixed my hair and it looked great but it was tinted green because of what the salon before did to it and I came back and they fixed it completely and I couldn't be more than happy with it. I fell in love with Touch Salon from my first visit. I was looking for a new salon. I did extensive research, landing upon Touch and I am glad I did. My first impression was that I could definitely stick with a salon (and thus a hair routine) that not only allows me to book online, but book an appointment within the week, or even that same day. I always wait too long and never know what my schedule will be far in advance, so this is a giant plus in my book. I booked an appointment with Vanessa that same day - and I thought she was wonderful. She gave my hair cut new life, and was really able to listen to me and find what works for my busy, professional lifestyle and busy home life with a toddler. In subsequent appointments, Vanessa has provided me advice on my hair and also listened to my concerns about whether it is time to color the dreaded gray hairs; she spent time to consider my concerns and collaborate with other stylists to give me a solution I am ready to try when I go in for my next appointment.
