I wrote a raving review when I got my haircut last month by Larissa, but had to delete it because after getting my hair colored by Larissa this week... I have to write an even MORE raving review. I just recently turned 30, and have been feeling hella old. My hair color from my last salon, well, I felt it aged me. It was this warm blonde color and was a very rooted look. I never really loved it but my old hairdresser insisted it was perfect for me due to my age and complexion. Unlike the previous salon, Larissa took my image of what I wanted during my consultation and made it into a reality, and assessed whether it'd suit my skin tone and everything. She even added a shadow root (her image) to make it look more seamless as it grows. Such a difference that even my mother and father in law liked it and could tell a noticeable change in my hair (words like softer, healthier, more blended.) And they used to HATE my blonde hair. :-O The first time I came in, she fixed my "heavy" layers and I haven't had a bad hair day since. Def my forever hair salon and hairdresser now. Touch Salon exceeds my expecations each and every time! Firstly, they have been doing a great job in following COVID 19 protocols. Along with that I would say I have been going here for a few years and have never experienced anything short of professionalism from everyone there. The stylist I personally go to is Bri and she is PHENOMENAL. Update: I am now a frequent client of Larissa's since November. She is an extremely skilled hairstylist. No matter what I ask her for, she delivers! I have spontaneously asked for a lavender hue, as well as a pink color (see photos) and she has always exceeded my expectations. I am always thrilled with the results! Despite how much work my hair requires at times (full head of highlights, balayage, toner, etc) she always takes care of me promptly. I never get tired of sitting in her chair as she is fun to talk to and knows how to tackle my hair in a fast-paced (without feeling rushed), caring manner. So happy I found this place! read more

Such an amazing salon!!! I had an appointment with Marissa this morning after searching for salons near me at random. I got SO lucky that I stumbled across Touch. First of all Marissa was so wonderful as a person, very down to earth and a pleasure to be in her chair!! That made me trust her right away with my hair and she absolutely delivered. I came in with brassy grown out blonde and she gave me a gorgeous balayage. She took her time and really made sure that we were on the same page the whole time. Marissa is incredible, I HIGHLY recommend her!! The huge added bonus was the mimosas they were giving out today & the owner came in with bagels for everyone in the salon too. Edited: the way you rewrite your response to a way that makes the customers seem wrong is not a way to run a business.. in your first response you realized I had an incorrect phone number on file therefore you only contacted me through this. You have my email on file as you have asked for it and I am 100% sure you have my correct number.. I originally rated you a 3 because it is obvious my hair looks nothing like the picture. Now it is a 1 based on how you change your response to attack why I have not responded and my unhappiness in in separate review which has nothing to do with this review.. I've been to you twice and both times my hair did not come out as asked. I left a nice review as I thought you were a decent business but clearly changing your response and blaming the customer is a shady business. I was planning on reaching out before work today as I have an 8 month old at home and I work full time and was unsure if the owner would be in on the weekend. I could not respond any sooner and you gave me 2 to 3 days to respond. Anyway i appreciated your offer to redo my hair but i am not going to re dye it so soon and damage my hair and it wasn't done close to the picture so why would I think it would be done correctly again? Original review: I am not here to write a negative review but to share my experience. Everyone especially my hairstylist is extremely friendly both times that i have gotten my hair done. The salon itself is beautiful as well and everything is efficient. However, I showed up with a picture of what I was looking for and i understand it's not possible to get exact but I feel how my hair turned out was not even close to what I asked for. I attached a picture that shows what I showed my stylist and how my hair turned out. The cut is what I wanted as I have straight hair and I don't have time to have anything complicated to upkeep. The color however came out very different. During the process after putting in the base color I did question and ask if it had red in it. She assured me it was just the lighting. Then when she brought the color out to do the "highlights" it was only one color and I asked if that what the only color she would be doing as the picture looks to have a few different shades. She explained on my last visit I didn't really like the low lights. By the way I do appreciate you keeping notes on file because most places don't and this definitely helps when you don't know what Color you may have gotten last time etc. She then told me she would do something different to replicate. As she was blow drying I could tell it was darker and still had a shade of red on my roots, however it was at least still blonde so I was happy about that. After coming home and looking at my hair in my own lighting and mirror I did not expect to go in with blonder hair then I came out with. My roots definitely have a shade of red and my hair is much darker then the picture showed. I have been getting highlights for years and normally I have to ask for it to be toned down, however instead my hair just looks dull in a sense. I love that it came out natural looking which is what I do ask for, but I was definitely expecting something different. read more

My previous stylist/colorist from another salon is on maternity leave and I was getting antsy about my hair so after researching again, I came across Touch Salon via Yelp and Instagram. I liked Larissa's work from her pictures and felt at ease with other positive reviews she's received so I booked an appointment for full highlights. The salon itself is super cute and clean. Larissa is down to earth, easy to talk with, and the salon vibe was very comfortable. Larissa was able to brighten and even out my blonde and even did some baby lights to ensure maintaining it would be a little easier for me. Luckily she had time and I did as well and she ended up cutting my hair (just a little bit but made such a difference, especially for my ends). Went here a few years ago. Girl did a horrible job. Instead of cutting my hair and focusing on my hair the girl was busy talking to a co worker. She rushed my haircut and violently thind out my hair when it was WET! This girl ruined my hair for at least 1 year because of the damage the girl made on my hair. I've only been to this salon a couple times and never had a bad experience. I saw they were following proper protocol for covid and decided to make an appointment with Marissa. Everyone is wearing their mask and cleaning from customer to customer. They are doing temperature checks and you have to fill out a form. I was voicing my concerns to Marissa regarding my hair and right away she recommended a (free) conditioning treatment if I had the time. My hair felt so great once she was done cutting it. I decided not to blow dry at the salon. The whole experience was great and as usual Marissa listened to my needs and did a great job! read more

This salon is my go to spot. I get my haircut by Zack. He does not take appointments so you have to walk in and hope for the best. He has a big following so you have to get there early or be prepared to wait, but he is def worth the wait. The rest of the staff is very attentive and always offering some coffee, water, tea, or other refreshments to make sure you are comfortable and happy. Touch also has the best assistants out there. My favorite part is getting my hair washed and the head massage. I try to get the assistant Rebecca who is so beautiful and extremely sweet. The salon itself is very nice; the style is very modern with friendly, trendy stylists. Most stylists were chatting away with clients and the atmosphere was very friendly. Vanessa cut my hair, and it turned out wonderful, but the way I was treated was simply unacceptable. I began by telling Vanessa that I left my old salon because I was felt that I was overcharged ($325 for highlights and a cut), but this was clearly a massive "CHEAP" reflag for her. She told me that my hair was very spotty from box dye, and that I should, "never touch it again until a stylist does." I asked if I should get it fixed right away and she said that, "only she could tell" so there was no point. Why point out a flaw if you have no solution? I then told her that I struggled with dry hair, and she told me that it wasn't my hair, just the cheap products I'm using. Seriously? I used box dye ONCE for my roots. Unlike the other stylists, there was no small talk really going on despite my attempts. She made a comment that when I do find a stylist (I'm a first time client... wouldn't you want me to continue to see you?) that I should probably redo my highlights. This left my incredibly confused; should I redo my highlights? How spotty is my hair? Am I cheap? To top it all off, she had the nerve to suggest some products I should buy from her that, "wouldn't break the bank" for me. You have got to be kidding. My haircut looks fantastic, but the experience was not worth it. As a stylist, you need to be sensitive with your clients. I would have been 100% fine with her suggesting that I get my highlights redone to fix my color, but she could have said it in a professional way. A client should never walk away feeling confused, questionable and upset. I tipped 20%, yet was clearly profiled by my age and honesty. Sadly, I do not plan on returning. read more

I went to this salon for the first time after the site I used to visit closed for business. It was an excellent experience. I have long hair and an undercut that both needed a serious update, along with color that had not been retouched in over a year. Brianna was a great stylist because she listened to all my needs and created a formula for hair color that matched my old shade. The hair cut looks fantastic. My hair color job was subtle because she blended it into the ends of my hair, just as I had asked. Even the person who shampooed my hair was awesome; she gave me a scalp massage and it was the best I have ever had. Everyone at the salon was polite and the space itself is neat and clean. When she called she was told Anthony is on vacation, but Brianna works next to him. So that makes her as good as Anthony because she works next to him? . The worst place to go for haircuts. My wife went in with a photo and came home with spiked hair, looking nothing like the photo. She was very explicit in telling Brianna she did not want anything to severe and just to blend in her current haircut and that she wanted to be able to have enough to curl her hair. It is so short you couldn't curl it with a pencil. My wife is almost 67 years old and is more into traditional cuts, not the extreme . . . especially spiked hair! It is as if they didn't even listen to what she asked them to do. Her hair was so chopped and short the back won't even lie flat. They had the nerve to tell her she could rock that haircut, whatever the hell that means. An excuse for covering up that they ignored everything my wife asked of them and they did whatever the hell they wanted. They face you away from the mirror and then spin you around and go look at what we gave you. My wife could have gone to a barbershop and received a better haircut. They also fixed my hair after I had a 2001 situation going on from a bad highlight job. They also are always super clean and take their COVID protocols very seriously. I go there for Zach and he's been my barber for years. The place is always clean and has a good vibe. I appreciate them being serious about taking everyone's temp upon arrival and asking safety questions during Covid. One thing I have to point out is when I call to make an appointment the person answering the phone lately is a a little aggressive and I'm not really sure why. I'd expect a better experience on the phone but that's not a reason for me to stop going there. I just wish she's a little bit more welcoming. But overall the place is very good. read more
