He was very nice, and he applied good pressure to the knots I had. I will be back, but I wanted to leave this information out to those who may want a female masseuse instead! it was my first time here and I just didn't want to be an inconvenience! I did book for a 30 min massage but the chair was making me a little claustrophobic so I ended up stopping him at 20 min exactly. He didn't try to charge me for the 30 minutes, so I appreciate the last minute accommodation:) My type of work gets very chaotic around holidays, and I know I'll be back for a quick massage for those long shifts!

Not realizing how knotted up my body was when I came in, Renata was able to massage me, relax me, then educate me regarding my body & the stress I was carrying. I came in for a relaxing massage, but instead I got a massage & very helpful information regarding my body!!!! Talk about a bonanza!!! Additionally, Renata further aided in my relaxation process by providing the level of modesty (regarding my body) that made me comfortable. Not many times does a therapist that takes the time to inquire about your comfort level; whether your 1st or 100th time, this can be an issue. My hot stone massage wasn't long enough, as I didn't want her to stop. From the top to the bottom, there wasn't area that was untouched by her. She made sure all my muscles received a fair amount of stimulation and "unkinking"; as I was truly full of knots. I found the pricing to be fair & in-line with the cost of similar services at other locations. I am super ecstatic about Hands Of Essence & this will now be my go-to-massage salon.

Finding the location was a little tricky, since our GPS got us stuck in the library's parking lot. Don't go that way if your GPS tells you! I arrived as the owner was wrapping up with a client in one of those massage chair things you see in the airport where the people kneel lol. I was led to a back room with a table and tranquil music and told to change. I like a firm massage and let me tell you this tiny little lady delivered. She got my knots out went deep did fully body including my feet which were last (saved the best for last) and adjusted pressure as requested. Since there wasn't another masseuse we did get interrupted by walk in's a few times and lost a few minutes but overall it was a great massage. I've paid double for worse and have walked away feeling like I needed another half hour or more. Whereas here I felt fully relaxed and so much better within that limited time frame. The music was tranquil and not too loud. The masseuse could not tell me exactly what was in my massage oil so if you have allergies steer clear. I really felt I got the best bang for the buck and left feeling like a million bucks.

However, all the massage places in the area have the same increase. There is free parking with two designated spots since it is a busy strip. They do well with limited English. Things they could do to make it five stars: my roommate and I noticed, they do not consistently have the same amount of time. I set my watch now. They could put a sign on the door when full so the workers don't have to leave to answer the door and phone. I'd love if they could get the hot towels ready in the room--they are all big enough--so no one is freezing while waiting for the massage personnel to return. And don't ask for more of a tip; it's just tacky.
