My first review focused on the milkshakes, but after a few more visits I'm ready to update my review of the "More" part of Milkshakes & More. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Drinks, Return) Atmosphere - On my fall visit in October, I noticed Milkshakes & More now has fall themed decorations on the walls and tables. Soft table covers wrapped around the round tabletops and gave a nice outdoor café look. There's also new benched seating. Of course, all the great ice cream and treats continue to beckon you in to place an order. 1 Star. Service - The staff on my Friday afternoon and Saturday night visits were great. They welcomed be to try any ice cream flavor and let me take my time to view the menu to place my order. They made me feel welcome with their smiles. 1 Star. Drinks - The "More" part of Milkshakes & More is a lot. They serve coffee, bubble tea, smoothies, and desserts. I ordered the Water Buffalo, which was their version of a Vietnamese Iced Coffee. It was sweet, creamy, and refreshing. It tasted...well...exactly like a Vietnamese Iced Coffee. On my next visit, my daughter ordered the Brown Sugar Milk Tea. I like my boba firm, but not hard (undercooked) or soggy (overcooked). The boba was perfect (not sure if they cook it in house) and the Brown Sugar Milk Tea wasn't overly sweet. Prices are for both were reasonable $6 - 7. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. I'm so thankful Milkshakes & More has opened in Las Colinas because I now have a dedicated dessert shop that will satisfy my sweet tooth. 1 Star.

Holy smokes this tea is really good!…read more I've gone to a bunch of boba spots over the year... this place actually properly brews the tea leaves so there is no bitter aftertaste (I do zero sugar). And they blend the tea with the alternate milk really really well. It's like a tea place that decided to add boba options - as opposed to a boba spot that decided to offer tea. Highly recommended!!

Upon entering the store, it's averagely welcoming with plenty of tea options, ice cream and macaroons. I like their variety, but despite the large selection of drinks, they're mostly the same type of drinks you'd find in other stores, including boba tea classics, smoothies, shakes and coffee. Their shake was watery/thin, despite asking for a thicker shake. I also ordered the strawberry milk tea. Tastes great but nothing too special. The store could benefit with hiring extra workers. There was only one girl covering the front and the making of all drinks. It wasn't rush hour- with one couple ordering after us- we were the first in line but it took about 10 minutes for us to get our 2 drinks. I wouldn't mind coming back here if a friend wants to go, but it would be a pass for me. However, I enjoyed their birthday flavored ice cream macaroon. This is an option I don't see commonly in other boba tea shops; ironically the item I liked best over the drinks.

It was nice to see a new boba shop close to my home. I was looking forward to cutting down the…read moredrive for good boba, but unfortunately, the drive will still be warranted. The shop is very clean, very well organized, and leaves plenty to do while enjoying your boba or some of the other items they offer. They have games and a nice lounge area that would make for a pleasant, low-key evening with friends or even a date. The customer service was great, but I feel she could have been assertive when I mentioned it was my first time visiting their shop. The questions I asked, she did a great job answering my questions, and was fully versed on the menu. One question I asked, which was very important to me: Do you use powder or fresh fruit with a touch of powder? Yes, they only use powder. I am not a fan of the powder; it leaves the drink tasting artificial, and that isn't what I choose to pay for. She did say, if you want some fresh (I did, and will always want that), their juices are the only fresh items on their menu. Dang it! Coconut Water: w/ Mango popping jelly This was good, and you can elect to drink it from the actual coconut or in a boba cup. I chose to get the cup, but I may get the actual coconut during the summer. Also, it has chunks of fresh coconut in it as well. If I ever get this again, I will ask if some type of flavor can be added. Eventually, the taste of the coconut water became a nuisance, and I threw it away. Vanilla pastry w/ whip cream and a cherry topping: This was not good; it was in a case with valentine pastries, and I have a feeling it has been sitting there since that time. I noticed in their Google review that someone else mentioned the same. The freshness of their desserts can be compromised by the items that are also shared, in that case, or by cleaning agents. When they're not tightly and properly packaged, the foods will absorb the surrounding odors. When I tell you it wasn't good, it was really bad. The cherries on top were not fresh; they were canned, which is okay, it would be the most logical thing. The cherries were stuck together, and the whipped cream didn't have the soft and fluffy texture; it was hard. The vanilla cream in the center tasted nothing like vanilla. The whole thing was a wash and also went into the trash. I feel like I'm chasing the success of Bambu (Asian Times Square) and looking for the same level of quality without that dang powder; it seems many places are using powder. To end this on a good note, I can't say I will not visit again. I'm interested in trying some of their other juices and a milk tea or two, and I'd be willing to stop by again for those.

Indoor and outdoor seating, a comfy sofa, chairs, and tables, plus a super cool city skyline mural that gives it that modern, aesthetic feel. The light music and chill atmosphere make it the perfect place to actually stay and enjoy your drink instead of rushing out. Food & Drinks: I ordered a strawberry, pineapple, peach smoothie and babyyyy... lip-smacking good. It even had fresh fruit at the bottom--like, attention to detail matters and they delivered. 10/10. They've got a food menu too, and I'm already planning my return trip to try more. Service: Fast, friendly, and efficient. No friction, just good energy. Final Verdict: Must go! It wasn't busy, and they have a good variety of different milk teas, Boba, and smoothies that you can try. I came here recently to redeem my Birthday reward. They give you a free drink that is valued up to $6, and if you go over that, then you pay the difference out of pocket. When I went into Magic Cup, the employees did not seem happy to see me and were not very friendly. I took a few minutes to look over the menu and ultimately ended up choosing the Iced Honey Green Tea with Boba and less ice. Just a heads up, they will charge you an extra 50 cents for requesting less ice. After paying for my drink, they had finished making it right when I put my credit card away. That was already a red flag for me since most Boba places that I visit take at least a few minutes or so to make the drinks. I appreciate the efficiency, but this Iced Honey Green Tea lacked flavor! I got it with normal sweetness, and it was bland, but at least you could taste a hint of tea. Aside from that, it basically tasted like I was drinking water. Also, the boba did not taste fresh and was mushy. It seemed like they had been sitting out for quite some time. Unfortunately, with all the different boba shop options around, I don't think I will come back to this location for a while.
