This is the fourth time I have been at Total Therapy, Two Knees, at the same time, 2 Back surgeries, and now recovering from the disability to walk further than 40 yards as well as dizziness. The team quickly identified it was not the crystals in my inner causing the dizziness but is related to my eyes. After few weeks of eye exercises my dizziness is gone, Now we are working on my unstable walking. So far I am now able to walk for 3/4 of an our without the need to sit and recover. My balance is improving as I work on various strengthening and balance exercises. The PTs are highly educated and trained. The front desk is a pleasure to work with both in person and on the telephone. The home recovery monitoring is easy to use and the Person (Hanna) who monitors your home progress is a gem. Total Therapy is the VERY BEST as one can see with my rapid recovery. I can now look forward to excursions on my cruising which I have been unable to participate in because of my inability to walk. I have had an excellent experience with Total Therapy of Venice. First of all, given the Corona Virus we are experiencing I wanted to have my physical therapy via virtual. We accomplished this very well and the staff, particularly Justin Stiver and Mark Smothermon, not only did a great job with my exercises, they are both quite tech savvy which was very much needed for this 72 year old. Significantly, the Zoom program was covered by my insurance. The program that was formed was just what I needed following a complicated cervical fusion surgery. I have made very good strides with things like range of motion and pain relief. Importantly, my neurologist pointed out that I was way ahead of schedule with my recovery.
