I suffered a closed head injury and spinal injuries, all documented by MRI reports, and I still deal with the effects today. I was working as a hospice RN when I was hit at a red light by a massive box truck going 50 mph. The vehicle was completely crushed from the back--I'm lucky to be alive. I went to this facility for physical therapy through workers' comp, but my experience with Jean was deeply upsetting. Her medical notes were, in my opinion, condescending, using phrases like "overly dramatic" when I described my pain to professionals I trusted. Worse, she signed off on assessments as if she had been present when she hadn't. When I confronted her about it over the phone, she laughed at me, mocked me, and repeated that I was being "overly dramatic." I broke down in tears. Just three hours later, I suffered a near-fatal brain bleed--eight weeks after my accident. I would never recommend this facility to anyone, as I believe Jean's callousness and lack of empathy caused unnecessary emotional distress when I was at my most vulnerable
