Fast booking process, friendly staff, equipment (rototiller) ran flawlessly. Will be a repeat customer for sure.

When I walked into the store on Saturday afternoon to reserve a piece on equipment for the next Saturday. I am told it is not reserved by anyone. So a nice lady puts my name and number on a piece of paper and clips it in a stack. I called on Thursday to make sure and it is rented to another person. They reserved it on Tuesday. I'm told there is nothing with my name or number. And so it's rented to this person. I am out. This is unacceptable but not correctable. Just perfect I spent the week lining up help, equipment and a vehicle to use. I have used Total Rental for almost 20 years and never treated like this. This is not professional but what do you care? You get paid. I have to pay for stuff I can't use and people that planned to help could have made other plans. This wouldn't suck if it was a minor project. Very disguised right not. read more

Another great experience. Got right in, got right out. Equipment worked well. The young guys out in the shop really know their stuff. If you're deathly afraid of covid, they sanitize their pens but you have the option of using a normal pen, which I did. Thanks TRC read more

Receptionist is uneducated on equipment and extremely rude. Don't bother calling this company. She will put you on hold and make it clear that customer service is her last priority. They lost my business today. read more

We had to get some things for our reception at our home somewhat last minute. They were very accommodating and helpful.

Good staff and fair, but poor maintenance of cutting edges. I have rented different power equipment here about 6 times in the past year. Rented power fence post augers twice. The first time the cutting edge inserts were too dull to cut the clay soil. I took about a half hour to flip the blades and get the job done. The second time they had let it go so long the insert mounting screws were worn down, preventing replacement. They did replace the auger that day with sharper inserts. Today went to rent a stump grinder but the cutting edges were so worn I refused to rent it. (Didn't want to spend a day beating a stump in submission rather than taking a couple hours to turn it into chips.) Otherwise all the equipment I rented ran well. It is in their financial interest to rent dull cutting equipment because the equipment needs to be rented for a much longer time to get the job done. Otherwise I will continue to be a customer here. read more
