The previous doc, PA, and NP at Prevene we saw were all knowledgeable but also took the time to listen and do a proper assessment. More often than not, they also thought through root cause possibilities rather than simply looking for a band-aid to slap on via meds or overly simplistic advice. Our last few appointments with the new staff was full of interruptions and more talking than listening, telling me the same thing you could find online or in a book. When speaking with him i was impressed with the fact that he had already reviewed my blood work and had some suggestions. More importantly he wanted to hear about my concerns and thoughts. He put together a personalized action plan and followed up with a detailed visit summary. Super personable and knows his stuff. The best part is he gives you his personal cell phone and you can just text or call him any time you need. His response is usually super fast. Highlights: Great listener. Knowledgeable. Afterwards she later argued why I didn't call the insurance and I told her again that I was calling my family member since they helped me set it up so idk what the hell her issue is but she don't deserve to be in the reception desk if she don't like it.
