Boat wasn't running, took it in at 3pm on a Friday afternoon. He got it running great by end of day. His team worked like a nascar pit crew and did a fantastic job. Couldn't be happier. I sent my family in the next day to get a steering problem fixed and he knocked it out in 30 minutes. Both boats in the water and working great thanks to Dennis and the team! read more

I WOULD NEVER GO HERE!!! BAD ATTITUDE!!!!!!!!!! Dennis worked on my boat. It started fine at the dock, but then started cutting out, when I called him. He said it ran when I left the shop and he was too busy to help me. That knucklehead told me to go buy a $3 bottle of Heat at Auto Zone.... and put it in the gas it cleared everything up. Why didn't he put the Heat in the gas to ensure his customer didn't have a problem? ($3.00) He charged me $680 but if I gave him cash, it was only $630 (Never gave me a receipt) Save yourself a headache of having to deal with this crap read more

We could not be happier with Total Performance. Dennis is top notch, knowledgeable, very honest and just overall great guy. He and his guys trouble shot our boat for months and got it running better than when we bought it. He detailed the boat before returning it to us and fixed a tear in the upholstery that accidentally got ripped without us even asking. Thank you Dennis for fixing our boat and giving us more family memories on the river. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR BOAT TO DENNIS MILLER!!!!! He is a total liar, and says he makes repairs when him and his circus of clowns have done nothing but collect your money. Took him three times to correct a simple problem with our boat and that was only after WE had to tell him what to do. And after he got butt hurt because we had to do the diagnosis for him, him and his circus of clowns vandalized our boat. I guess that is what you get when you do business with such a spit hole shop that looks like a bomb went off right before you got there. If the facility looks half azz, the work/ service will be half azz. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH TOTAL PERFORMANCE!!!! I know it can be a pain, but take your boat to a reputable shop in Havasu. It will be well worth it. read more

This guy is the most dishonest boat mechanic I've ever done business with. He took my boat apart and sat on it for nine months. He made every excuse in the book as to why he couldn't get the work done on my boat. He told me he sent the block of my motor in July of 2023 I picked up my boat in April of 2024 and he sent it out to be exchanged for a rebuilt motor. I picked my boat up in pieces my paint was faded my upholstery stained because it sat in his yard for 9 months out in the elements. Do not take your boat to this man he is by far the most dishonest man I've ever had the displeasure of doing business with in my life. read more

Dennis, Tony, Dennis's son and all the guys at the shop are amazing! Day after a holiday weekend and even though they were slammed they got me in and out in 2 1/2 hours! These guys are legit- they know boats in and out and don't try to price gouge you. It's hard to find a repair shop you can trust and they fit the bill. Even though I live in Cali I will drive to Az to get all my service done here. read more

Don't use this guy. 5 months to get my boat repairEd!! Every time I called, I got the run around. Finally, it's done and I go pick it up. He over charged me $1400 over his estimate. Rip off. Also, The boat was left out in the element for 5 months. read more

3-days later, the Motor and lower unit is still spotless. This Yamaha 90 TLR had been leaking for a year. Probably from my homemade repairs. Tony fixes it in a day. The motor still starts like a Honda. Humms like never before. I can't wait to launch it and fish. Thanks to Dennis, son and Tony for great work. Done for a reasonable price. read more

Great shop and great work!! Thank you Dennis for all the help!! You always produce good work and stand by your product!

Everyone has their opinion but Dennis rebuilt my 502 & pump. I was referred by a long time family friend, I do not regret taking my boat to Dennis at all. 2 years after my rebuild and my boat runs great. He does my service for me since the rebuild, even though he's a busy guy I can always send a text or give him a call for any questions and he helps me out. I appreciate the Total Performance crew & everything they've done for me whether it's rebuilding my motor + pump to get me back on the water or if I need help locating a part. You've got my business for the future when needed buddy. Dennis doesn't sugar coat anything and tells you how it is.. whether you like the answer or not. Keep up the good work read more

Took our jet skis there to fix the exhaust. They had it for 2 months and didn't put the covers on them, which were in the trailer box. So now the skis are sun faded. Also they kept telling us he couldn't get the part. He didn't do anything and over charged for serving 1 ski. Took the ski to a friend and got the part in less than a week and back on the water. read more

Had a car stereo installed..had a couple of glitches and they handled them rapidly and with no issues everything looks and works great. highly recommended read more

This review has been a long time coming! Last August 2020 Dennis "repaired" our pontoon. About a week later and $2300.00 later we take our children out on the river and our boat works for maybe 30 minutes! We ended up getting stranded and then towed. It sucks that there are people in this world that take advantage of others because they know darn well we're not mechanics! We chose him based off reviews but I am here to tell all of you Steer Clear!!! Do not get suckered in like we did! He will completely rip you off. We've had to bring our broken down boat home and are still currently trying to find an HONEST mechanic. read more

Went out on the water the weekend before the 4th of July and my power steering took a shit. Called everyone and their mothers and no one could get me in to fix my pump. Driving around I found Total Performance and they were swamped. With in 10 minutes of talking to them they said they'd squeeze me in. Fixed my boat in a couple hours at a reasonable price and allowed me to get my family back out on the water. Highly recommend these guys. Thank you for your help. read more

I took my boat in to get service for a major tune up. I was done the same day! Everyone was helpful and courteous. I found a great shop to work on my boat. We live in California and keep our boat in Bull Head AZ. Having a shop that is honest is a blessing. I strongly recommend Total Performance read more

My old mechanic retired and it was time to find a new one as my laundry list of things to be repaired was growing. Based on the positive reviews and word of mouth, I decided to give Dennis and his crew at Total Performance a shot and couldn't be happier. I dropped my boat off on a Monday morning and they already were working on it by the afternoon. The work they did was solid and the price was more than fair. All the work was completed in a week making the turnaround time phenomenal. Dennis also made a point of texting pictures of issues his guys found while providing updates on the repair status along the way. Definitely will be back. Give them a try, you will not regret it. read more

Spectacular and quality work!!! Everyone there has extensive knowledge and are so friendly! Highly recommend!

HE RIPPED MY GRANDPA OFF! DO NOT COME TO THIS GUY! MY GRANDPA GAVE HIM $16,000! New Engine for for his boat. He is old and I guess he just knew how to take advantage of him. Dennis is a tweaker and very untrustworthy! This is just not ok! He had his boat for at least 8 months! He is a scammer!!!!! DO NOT TAKE IT TO HIM. Also he left the boat out side in our version of winter conditions for MONTHS ! It's so filthy. read more

Thank you, Dennis, for saving our church youth trip! Imagine 82 students waiting for a tow and then one of our 3 boats goes down with a broken gimbal bearing (2004 SeaRay SD) on the first day. Dennis and his team worked quickly to get our 3rd boat back in the game. I can't thank Dennis and his team enough! FYI, Dennis was very reasonable on the repair cost as well. read more

Came to Laughlin from CA for a weekend getaway, the minute we touched down we began to have issues with our family vehicle. Searched endlessly for a repair shop/mobile mechanic who can come to us fearing that the vehicle wasnt driveable but EVERY shop we found on Yelp or ones that were referred to us by locals were CLOSED!!! After posting asking for recommendations on a locals Facebook page, Dennis reached out to us and asked that we give his office a call. We were able to make it to the shop and are so happy we did!! A gentleman from his team (didn't get his name) came out, figured out the issue and got it fixed in a little over an hour and saved us time and money. He was great, efficient, and reliable! Thank you so much for turning our almost ruined weekend into a great one! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOP!!! 5 in our book!! read more

These guys are awesome! With all the demand for work in boat shops this season, Dennis and his crew were able to squeeze me in for a rebuild on one of my drive cylinders. Tony and Sasha worked on my boat and were super friendly and got the job done quickly! Rates were super reasonable too! I'm definitely coming back. Thanks guys! read more

Excellent custom fabrication light bar install on my RZR XP4 1000. I went in this morning and talked to the owner, Dennis and asked if he could install a light bar on my RZR with special made brackets to allow the use of my soft top. He asked "When do you want it by?" and I said jokingly tomorrow. He said "OK, how soon can you get it here?" Amazing install/fabrication with no notice same day delivery. I will definitely be going back for future stereo/ dvd/ back up camera/ etc... installs on my other vehicles! Thanks Dennis. I love it! read more

Dennis gets the job done not only correctly, but quickly, don't hesitate to reach out. Will be back for next years service.

WOW never delt with a business owner like this. To much to write but 1150.00 yes to fix my jeep oil leak. After two weeks I went in to pick it up and i asked so it don't leak oil anymore? He says what a dumb ass question and get the fuck off my property when the day before he apologized for biting my head off the previous week and he says NON OF MY WORK COMES BACK. Of course there's more to it we'll guess what? IT LEAKS OIL STILL WORSE and now TRANS FLUID LEAKS. I have dated pic showing the leak . So I guess next step is small claims. The first day I met Dennis he jumped down my throat. I know there's good and bad but I have to relate to some of these posts. Stay tuned. I bought the jeep and the last owner which is a customer/ friend of Dennis gave me his word he would have the oil leak fixed and told me to bring it to Dennis for repair. Then after he heard 1150 he said I'll pay 500.00. I never agreed. I go to pick it up and I had to pay the full amount as he wouldn't let me have my jeep and this other person was no where to be found. I know I'm old school and word of mouth was good enough for me. Wrong!!!! Oh I know It's Me not Him. I do get along with most but I'm tired of being ripped off. I was told by Dennis not to return which is a no brainer for me but I have to do something to get back at the starting point. The bottom line is I paid for a service that was not provided. And to be honest I never approved the 1150.00. read more

After 6 hours cruising time on the River my "rebuilt Jet" fell to apart, bearings shot, my mechanic said it "looks all original in here" "like a 10 year old Jet should typically look. But Dennis Miller at Performance just did $1800.00 Dollars worth of work on it? NOT!! BEWARE read more

Was referred by 2 separate businesses who work on boats and sell parts. Went in After 5pm and Dennis was still there and hooked me up with a part I couldn't get for a couple days all the way down in Havasu. It was an inexpensive part that he refused to charge me for but told me if I any issue with installing it myself to let him know and he would help. He is a great guy and the real deal. Definitely give them a try. I know I will in the future. Thanks Dennis! read more

After having another shop work on my boat (AZ Boat Guys) and screwing up a jet and motor rebuild. I took my boat to Dennis. The jet and carburetor were acting up. Jet was toast had to be rebuilt and carburetor was leaking and would not idle. Gave boat to Dennis and he made the repairs and test drove to make sure everything was good. After he was done he delivered boat and covered for me as I was not coming back to town for a few weeks. We spent this weekend in Laughlin and the boat ran great, could not be happier. Dennis thanks for cleaning up the mess Mark Reese left me with. Bryon read more

I've taken my RV, car trailer and boat to Dennis for various things and he's always figured out/solved the problem. Hey! These guys were great, kept me and the family from having a bad weekend to being back on the water in less than an hour! We were at the Avi hotel and Casino for the 2019 SoCal Jet Boats meet, put the boat in the water it would idol fine, but wouldn't take the gas! So fortunate we were able to get it back on the trailer and a guy launching his boat told us about Dennis Miller at Total Performance. So we called and they asked if we were with the So Cal Jet Boats, told them yes and they told me they were closing early but go ahead and bring it in right now! They trouble shot the problem and fixed it right there and then! We can only say great things about the entire group of guys! Honest, fair and quick!! read more

I have a few stories to tell, I'll start with saying the Dennis at Total Performance is GREAT. He's been very helpful to us with our boat. We are not locals so it was hard to find somewhere and someone to take our boat to for repairs and honest opinion. He's honest, reasonable and most important he knows what he's doing. He's worked on our pontoon boat on several occasions now and honestly we are so thankful to him and his team. Because of happy we are with him we recommended my brother to him as well as my brother had a incident happened his boat on memorial weekend. I'll tell you a bit of his story. To start off my brother had some work done at a place here in needles/ Laughlin. Well the place he took it to for a oil change and the whole maintenance needed. First of all they wanted to charge him an arm and a leg. Second of all they used the cheapest materials and didn't even do a good job. Left spark plugs and other things loose. That was part of the problem my brother had with his boat. We called Dennis on a long weekend asked him if he could please take a looks t my brothers boat and see if he could fix some issues. Dennis answered our call after hours 9:00 pm. Didn't hesitate to tell us to bring the boat to him ASAP and he would work on it. Just when we thought our weekend was ruined Dennis saved us. He was able to fix my brothers boat, getting running and return it back to us the next day by noon. Once again he's a great person. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Total Performance and Mr. Dennis to you all. Dennis you will have our Business forever. Mario & Alex #Totalperformance #Greatservicereasonableprice read more

I recently bought a boat and went to the river to realize that my stereo wouldn't work. They figured the problem out right away and purchased a brand new deck.
