He said it ran when I left the shop and he was too busy to help me. That knucklehead told me to go buy a $3 bottle of Heat at Auto Zone.... and put it in the gas it cleared everything up. This guy is the most dishonest boat mechanic I've ever done business with. He took my boat apart and sat on it for nine months. He made every excuse in the book as to why he couldn't get the work done on my boat. He told me he sent the block of my motor in July of 2023 I picked up my boat in April of 2024 and he sent it out to be exchanged for a rebuilt motor. I picked my boat up in pieces my paint was faded my upholstery stained because it sat in his yard for 9 months out in the elements. Took our jet skis there to fix the exhaust. They had it for 2 months and didn't put the covers on them, which were in the trailer box. So now the skis are sun faded. Also they kept telling us he couldn't get the part. He didn't do anything and over charged for serving 1 ski. About a week later and $2300.00 later we take our children out on the river and our boat works for maybe 30 minutes! We ended up getting stranded and then towed. Excellent custom fabrication light bar install on my RZR XP4 1000. I went in this morning and talked to the owner, Dennis and asked if he could install a light bar on my RZR with special made brackets to allow the use of my soft top. He asked "When do you want it by?" and I said jokingly tomorrow. He said "OK, how soon can you get it here?" Amazing install/fabrication with no notice same day delivery. WOW never delt with a business owner like this. To much to write but 1150.00 yes to fix my jeep oil leak. After two weeks I went in to pick it up and i asked so it don't leak oil anymore? He says what a dumb ass question and get the fuck off my property when the day before he apologized for biting my head off the previous week and he says NON OF MY WORK COMES BACK. Of course there's more to it we'll guess what? IT LEAKS OIL STILL WORSE and now TRANS FLUID LEAKS. I have dated pic showing the leak . So I guess next step is small claims. The first day I met Dennis he jumped down my throat. I know there's good and bad but I have to relate to some of these posts. Stay tuned. I bought the jeep and the last owner which is a customer/ friend of Dennis gave me his word he would have the oil leak fixed and told me to bring it to Dennis for repair. Then after he heard 1150 he said I'll pay 500.00. I never agreed. I go to pick it up and I had to pay the full amount as he wouldn't let me have my jeep and this other person was no where to be found. I know I'm old school and word of mouth was good enough for me. Wrong!!!! Oh I know It's Me not Him. I do get along with most but I'm tired of being ripped off. After having another shop work on my boat (AZ Boat Guys) and screwing up a jet and motor rebuild. I took my boat to Dennis. The jet and carburetor were acting up. Jet was toast had to be rebuilt and carburetor was leaking and would not idle. Gave boat to Dennis and he made the repairs and test drove to make sure everything was good. I have a few stories to tell, I'll start with saying the Dennis at Total Performance is GREAT. He's been very helpful to us with our boat. We are not locals so it was hard to find somewhere and someone to take our boat to for repairs and honest opinion. He's honest, reasonable and most important he knows what he's doing. He's worked on our pontoon boat on several occasions now and honestly we are so thankful to him and his team. Because of happy we are with him we recommended my brother to him as well as my brother had a incident happened his boat on memorial weekend. I'll tell you a bit of his story. To start off my brother had some work done at a place here in needles/ Laughlin. Well the place he took it to for a oil change and the whole maintenance needed. First of all they wanted to charge him an arm and a leg. Second of all they used the cheapest materials and didn't even do a good job. Left spark plugs and other things loose. That was part of the problem my brother had with his boat. We called Dennis on a long weekend asked him if he could please take a looks t my brothers boat and see if he could fix some issues. Dennis answered our call after hours 9:00 pm. Didn't hesitate to tell us to bring the boat to him ASAP and he would work on it. Just when we thought our weekend was ruined Dennis saved us.
