We were having some issues with the boat. Obviously. There was water coming in and we couldn't figure out where it was coming from. The engine latch broke and the ignition switch needed to be replaced. They repaired all of it and even went above and beyond and adjusted the carburetor to help with the idleing, and painted the skag. When we walked in we were greeted immediately by Veronica and Kevin. Both very friendly and pleasant. There is a coffee station in the corner and some display shelves. Everything is new and clean. They encouraged our kids to snag some koozies (which of course we used today), talked to us about everything they did, we paid a reasonable price, and then they pulled the boat out. The facility is big and roomy. Really nice place and seemless process. We were having some trouble getting the hitch on the truck and a really nice man named John came out and helped us and even gave us some tips about things we had no idea about. He told us he worked on our boat and everything should be running perfectly. And just being able to talk to the guy who worked on your stuff was pretty comforting. Jeff is one of the owners and kept us in the loop through the whole process. He was very communicative and informative and gave us all of the information we needed to feel comfortable moving forward with their shop. They were very accommodating and we have no complaints. We had our newly purchased boat (our first boat) inspected and serviced. They also replaced the impeller, which was shot. John took a lot of time explaining everything about the boat to us and took extra care to keep the boat clean. We had just had it detailed. Heather was great to work with as well. The boat is performing flawlessly. I am going to Mohave Powersports today to order PRP seats for our Can-Am X3 Turbo. we have definitely found our go to place for all of our marine and off road needs. My daughter and I were on a road trip when our SUV overheated in Bullhead City Az. Veronica who answered our call was very friendly and very helpful when she heard we were on a road trip to the Grand Canyon National Park, She immediately had a mechanic look at our SUV. Pat the mechanic explained everything about the problem fixed it within an hour and reassured us that we could continue our trip to the Grand Canyon with no problems. 06/02/202 Took my Sea Doo in because the motor ran but it wouldn't go. While there I wanted the oil changed and anything tightened up that was loose and to find out what was wrong with the impeller. Well they did a tune up and said the ski was working there was nothing wrong with it. I tow the ski to Powell and the ski does not work! It's like they never checked the impeller or even listened to what I asked for. A tune up for $467. I called them and of course the girl said "We want to make it right. The guy that worked on it isn't here so I will call you tomorrow." Well she never did call back, so they must not really care if they make anything right. I spoke to my neighbor who had his impeller done in his boat and his impeller wasn't right either and he had to have it fixed by someone else a week later. I do not recommend Mohave Power Sports at all! Oh yeah, the Sea Doo I am speaking about only has 25 hours on it. read more

Beware!!! This place is a completely fraudulent. I brought my 2005 Artic Cat in because I couldn't get it started. A mechanic named Jeff said it needed a carburetor rebuild. I assumed he diagnosed it to arrive at that conclusion. I said OK let's do the carburetor. After he completed that {supposedly}. It still didn't run so Jeff called me and said it needed a Magneto which is what generates the spark. I would guess you would check that first before doing a carburetor. Jeff said the quad was too old to repair because the magneto cost more than the quad is worth. They charged me 350.00 for a carburetor rebuild kit that was never done, and I got a quad that still didn't work. I suspect Jeff wanted me to leave the quad there and not pay the outrageous false service invoice. However, I got the quad back and decided to look at the quad myself. I found a cracked coil. A 10.00 part I installed myself and now it works and proves this business should not be in business. Do yourself a favor and go to any lengths not to go there. Sincerely, David Odell read more

This is a big rave for Mohave Motorsports. My car needed brakes and motor mounts. They did a fantastic job. It is so nice to have non squealing, rattling brakes and the new motor mounts have stopped the vibration. I still have work to be done and I recommend this place. Great friendly people!! read more

We were on a trip in our RV van and started hearing a hideous noise and then the brakes went out. We stopped at the first place that looked like it might be a gas station. The folks there directed us to Mohave Powersports and said they would probably work on an RV. Boy what luck! Not only did they help us right away, they could have charged us a fortune. Turned out whoever worked on the brakes before we bought it hand tightened the bolts and they fell out! They went to the local hardware store to get the right bolts and not only had us on our way in an hour, but the bill was only $61. Everyone was helpful and friendly and they even gave us bottled water in the 110 degree heat. Wow. read more

These guys (and gals) are the best! We put DEF in our brand new diesel's fuel tank. I called them and they advised us and came to our house after hours and prepared the truck for the tow truck to transport to their shop. They drained and replaced what was needed at a very reasonable price in very short order. Now a year+ later it's still running great. The service dept manager at the truck dealership told me that we were very fortunate, because if Mohave Powersports had not done that prep work for transport, we were looking at about a $30,000 repair. We've since gone to them with our boat repairs and they did a great job with it as well. This is my go-to shop and I'd trust them with anything. read more

This company located in Fort Mohave, Arizona has done a wonderful job on my golf cart. They tested all batteries and connecting wiring finding many problems. They replaced batteries, wiring, cleaning the battery case and testing all connections. Found problems with wiring in the sound system and replaced the radio. They picked up and returned the golf cart without extra cost !!! A wonderful and friendly business. read more

It's a bummer I have to write this. The public facing portion of their business is great. But someone needs to step up when it comes to actual mechanical work. My story is simple: I brought two vehicles in for repairs. First one was a 2002 Seadoo Utopia boat for what I thought was needed an annual service. Mechanic did service and compression test. All tested out great, according to service paperwork. I even had some of the trailer recommendations fixed. Tune up and trailer work $400+ bill. I felt this was fair. 2 weeks later I take the boat out on its maiden tune up voyage, it doesn't start. Note- I keep the boat on a trickle charger. Okay needs new battery. First time starting vehicle on the water with maiden tune up and new battery, the engine throws a rod. Hard to believe this would happen if the compression had really been checked at the service. I guess this could happen on a 20 year old boat. Just bad luck? Maybe? You decide. Vehicle #2 Kawasaki Mule - starts but has an idling and stalling issue. I contact Mohave Powersports after the mule has been there for 6 weeks to get an update (we are all busy) and speak to the mechanic working on the mule. He believes the issue is the injectors and recommends replacing them to solve the problem. $450 - I agree. Guess what? It doesn't fix it. So now the mechanic goes online and reads about that the problem, maybe the throttle body? He wants $1200 to replace. I confirm with him that this is the issue. He states he's not sure. I am not your piggy bank. At this point, I ask to pick up the vehicle and take it to another professional. Guess what the professionals found? The mule needed a new clutch and belt, not new injectors or a throttle body. 8 weeks of time, $450 and no apology or admittance that they didn't know what they were doing. At some point, be accountable and admit you can't fix it, not after suggesting multiple potential fixes. Don't allow your customers to be your piggy bank. I was really hoping I could rely on a local dealer, but this is my experience here. Do yourself a favor, get a written quote. read more

Took our pontoon with an I/O in for an oil leak & gimbal bearing issue. We got in without an appointment and they diagnosed our many problems quickly. Jeff advised me the work needed was extensive and would require pulling the motor and out drive. Two weeks later Jeff advised me the boat was ready. I was happy it was completed on the day promised. Unfortunately once I put the boat back in the water it immediately overheated which was now a new issue. Jeff had one of his mechanics come by the next day to look at the boat which was in the water. Sadly the boat needed to return to the shop. Jeff picked it up and went through the trouble of removing it from the water and taking it back to his shop. He replaced every part that contributed to the overheating issue and even a couple more. It took a few more days to repair it, but Jeff stayed in contact with me. After the repair he delivered the boat to the launch ramp and helped get it back in the water. This is the exceptional service that is extremely challenging to find in this area. After 6 hours of operation the boat runs better than ever. While spending over $4k on boat repairs is never fun, Jeff did the second set of repairs at no charge, another sign of a great business! These guys repair boats, cars, UTV's, diesel RV's and anything else with a motor. They also have a detailer at the shop. Anytime you can find a business owner who apologizes many times for your unhappiness they are worth sticking with, especially here in the desert where good service can be challenging to find. Thanks to Jeff and his crew we were able to make many memories with our grandkids over the Labor Day weekend, I'll be back! read more

serviced my boat and "claimed" they replaced an upper seal. after paying $1,000 to get it out i took it for a ride on the river. 1 hour into the ride my outdrive seized because there was no oil?? didn't they know to put oil back in the motor? (common sense) just stop by and ask to see any kind of certifications on their mechanic. i ended up taking my boat to performance boats to repair the entire outdrive in which Mohave powersports claimed responsibility and said they would cover costs of the repair. 4 days into the repair, Mohave powersports decided to back out on paying for the repair and leave me with a huge bill. They admitted fault but said since their mechanics (who screwed up 2 repairs on my side by side and 1 repair on my boat) didn't get to repair it that I'm on my own. I don't know about you, but 3 repairs on my toys and they were all done wrong and cost me even more money to fix their work. What would you do? just be smart and do your research. stop by any mechanic shop from Mohave valley to bullhead and ask their opinion of Mohave powersports??? then make your choice on where you want to spend your hard earned money. read more
