I got my hair cut by the owner. I didn't know she was the owner when I left the place, so I tipped…read moreher. Being jobless at the time, I didn't give that tip lightly. But I do believe in tipping. She was friendly enough, but it wasn't until later that I got a good look at what she had done to my hair (see below). The haircut itself was a birthday gift from my mom. ANYWAY, she accepted the tip, which, imo, borders on unethical for an owner. She also told me to call her the next day if I had any questions. Well, I did have questions. Even in the chair, I asked her to razor cut my hair (like my last stylist did, in another state). She said she could accomplish the same thing without the razor. I'm no expert, so I let her do her thing. It really looks bad. It doesn't lay right. I can't do anything with it. It's almost mullet-like, which is embarrassing to admit (and to show in public). Plus, one side was about an inch shorter than the other!! When I called her the next day and asked if someone else could try to rescue the disaster she'd created (I didn't use those words), she said no one else could help me. Also, SHE couldn't help me because she was going on vacation for at least a week. Cut to four days later, when I called again at my mom's insistence. I asked for the owner, who turned out to be the same woman who had cut my hair and happily accepted my tip. I wish I had never tipped her - evil woman. Final straw: she was IN the salon. She was NOT on vacation. So, (1) she couldn't do what I asked her to do with my hair, even though the EXACT SAME thing had been done to it six months earlier by a brand-new stylist in another state. (2) She accepted a tip and didn't tell me she was the owner of the salon. Then, (3) when I called back to ask for it to be fixed, she told me she couldn't do it because she was out of town (a lie) and no one else in the salon could do it either. Do NOT go to this place unless you want to be treated shabbily. I will never darken her doorstep again.

I've been going to Rhonda for years, and have gotten my hair cut and dyed by the other hair…read morestylists when she was not available. I don't live in Aberdeen any more, but I make a point to make an appointment when I'm in town because it is by far the best hair cut and the best price I've come across. A prime example of their outstanding customer service would be the many times over the years Rhonda helped me get back my natural brunette, since my hair kept clinging to the red in most dyes. She had me come back in when it started fading back to red the next week and wouldn't hear of charging me for the fix up, even though the fade was through no fault of her own. I don't normally do yelp reviews, but after seeing a one star review had gone up, I had to share my overwhelmingly positive experience with this salon. This is a place that will absolutely go above and beyond to make their customers feel great.

This is not your father's tattoo shop. When I first walked…read moreinto the shop it felt like a very natural environment with chill energy. There weren't walls of flash tattoos, dried pools of spilled ink, it was beyond clean, and it was a pleasant experience from the moment I walked in until the moment I left. I scheduled my appointment well in advance, probably about six months in advance due to the waitlist and let me tell you what, get on that waitlist ASAP because it is entirely worth it! Communication was effective from the time I first set up the appointment, which is nice. I received exactly what I asked for, after providing a couple images for reference. I had a bad experience receiving a smaller tattoo on my chest/collarbone area before, and I was so trepidatious about this appointment. I didn't sleep well the three days beforehand. All of the anxiety, worry, and stress melted away once I walked into the studio and upon for first being seated for cleaning and to receive my stencil. I've also had some fairly horrible experiences over the last decade of being tattooed, with artists dominating the conversation and talking about things of little interest to me, like one artist who spoke for over a half of inking my first outer forearm tattoo about being an amateur hockey goalie; but conversation with these gals was fun and relatable and really put me at ease. The décolletage is indicated to be one of the most painful areas to receive a tattoo, and I can honestly say this is one of the least painful tattoos I received and I truly felt as energized and refreshed afterwards as if I had been at the spa. Branded Tattoo and Piercing is such an inclusive shop for people of all ages, genders, preferences, etc and I'm beyond excited to see my mermaid crest (recently named Aurora) healed and decide my next piece for my already scheduled upcoming appointment (including piercings!), which will be in the new studio! And as always, tip your artists, get all the ink, and relax! ‍

In the beginning of February, I went and got a pedicure The gentleman who works here, rubbed the back of my heel so hard that it cracked, and I couldn't walk correctly for three days. I went again, in March, and my toe has been injured now for three weeks. It has been swollen and Infected. I went to tell the lady that I have a doctor appointment tomorrow and that she needs to tell her husband to slow down She snubbed her nose at me and walked off. I will never go back to this place again She said it was an ingrown toenail, but I haven't had an ingrown toenail In a very long time, and only once in my life. The problem did not appear until the day after my pedicure. The fact that she Snubbed me after three weeks of pain, with no apology, makes me Feel that the one star is generous. Also, My daughter went the day before I did and he injured her toe as well. She had to buy some new shoes that she could walk in to minimize the pain, Lasting for three days. A Basic pedicure
