WOW!! Revive Day Spa is like stepping into a Downtown Metropolitan Salon & Spa. The team greets you with a smile and showers you with compliments; beginning with the appointment phone call that was made 3 days prior to my appointment, followed by the confirmation call the day before, and finally the day I got to physically got to meet the spa attendant (I felt like I already knew her and was simply there to catch up with an old friend). I was educated on every product, given a recommended regimen for: maintenance at home, product to improve my hair quality, and set up for the ideal time to keep my look consistent. I'm not sure anywhere I've ever been, offered a complimentary glass of wine, water, coffee, and/or tea. Do yourself a favor and check out, Revive Day Spa. This place is awesome. I really enjoy going there because I always seem to be able to chill out. It's comfortable and relaxing. Super nice people that know how to have a conversation. I work with people so looking nice is important. They did a great job on my hair. And it's a pretty cool setup. If you've not been in it's definitely worth checking out. It's sort of hard to believe that a place this nice is in Aberdeen... So last time I was there I was got my hair shampooed (which is the best part) after my cut , and it was a nice long shampoo (which makes the best part even better). And my stylist asked me if i wanted paraffin on my hands. And I'm like... I don't know what that is. So she explained that it's like this warm waxy stuff that they put on your hands that moisturizes them. So I tried it... It was so awesome! I can't remember the last time that I was that relaxed. I had an absolutely wonderful experience at, Revive!!! The girls were all friendly, the atmosphere was superb, and the waxing was of utmost professionalism. I have found in my experience; the following are of extreme importance: obviously not being on your monthly cycle for at least a week before or after, any dermatological reactions needs be of mention, stop any prescriptions dealing with the skin at least a week before waxing occurs, and any other specifications that are on the disclosure that Revive, professionally presented for me to sign. Revive was a facility that was extremely clean. This is probably the most important factor in my whole experience. The spa was well maintained, staff was friendly and the waxing room had a fresh sheet of table linens over the chair. My aesthetician was wearing gloves, using fresh wax strips, wooden sticks, and the wax that was used was heated and fresh. read more

Revive Day Spa...what a beautiful escape from the crazy outside world!! The atmosphere is absolutely phenomenal...contemporary, friendly, clean, comfortable. The complimentary water, tea, coffee, wine, beer, is such a simple, elegant, kind touch. All of the staff is incredibly friendly, and so willing to make your experience enjoyable!! I get my nails done by Amanda Premus, who is such a bright ray of sun. She is a doll, and is so great with creative ideas whether it be with hair OR nails. She made me feel so comfortable, and was so good about listening to what I wanted done, and made it happen! They are very efficient, and very focused on you.. They make you feel like more than just a client, but a friend and they make your time so worth it!!! I am SO happy to have found a place that is so welcoming and relaxing, here in Aberdeen!!! I just recently got my hair cut and eyebrows waxed by Amanda Premus! I must say I have never been to a salon as classy as Revive! When I first walked in I felt extremely welcomed and was offered a glass of wine, beer, coffee, or water! I was impressed with Amanda, even though I was her last client of the night, she took her time on me and listened to my needs! My hair is difficult to cut and my hair style is extremely disconnected. Amanda was very artistic with my cut and I love love the end result! My eyebrows also turned out very nicely shaped. Thank you Amanda!! I will see you in 3 to 4 weeks. Woohoo! As good as it gets! I love coming to Revive to get my hair cut and/or colored, hair products, waxing (eyebrow and lip), and learn about new makeup from Tara M.!! She makes the appointment fun and always asks about how I am doing and my daughter. The relaxing atmosphere allows me to have a relaxing time to enjoy being pampered. I love Revive! They ladies there are always so friendly. My stylist rocks (Jess D.)! I had my entire bridal party in there for my wedding and they all raved that they had such a fun experience. Update 3/12/2011 on Waxing issue: When I got home there was a letter with $32 in it. I was originally told I would get 80% of my total cost back, then 80% of the areas I showed the poor girl left to deal w/ the issue. Now this! And a copy of the contract w/a circle around how waxing can lead to skin irritation. Do they not get it?! The flippin' hair grew back the next day! I am thinking that I should get all my money back now. read more
