I have been a Planet Fitness member for a little over a year now and the past couple months they…read morehave had a problem charging my card on time resulting in a $20 late payment fee to me each time. after the last time I expressed my frustration, and I used a bit of blue language in doing so. really, who wants to get taken for $20 a month over and over again because they can't seem to figure out how to get the charge to go through (there was lots of money in the account and everything). so this morning I walked down to the Planet Fitness near me, it was cheap enough per month and convenient to walk there and back home again, only to find out that my membership has been cancelled. Well Planet Fitness, FUCK YOU!!! I came home and as luck would have it I saw an ad for MadMuscles Tai Chi Fitness Program, and at-home program that I can accomplish, and I can get my steps in at the middle school's 400m track right across the street. After one 18-minute Tai Chi workout I know this is something that I will be able to stick with regularly and benefit from. it costs less than my monthly membership to Planet Fitness, and I can do it naked in my own home if I choose (I wore athletic shorts and shirt). if you are considering Planet Fitness consider this instead. If you are a Planet Fitness member already, consider this instead. I wouldn't go back to Planet Fitbess if they paid me to rejoin. I have given them a 1-star rating because negative stars is not an option.

Wan is very insightful, the class is rejuvenating and the gongs and bells are played beautifully. I felt so relaxed, like I was floating after class. I wish I could bring her to every city with me! I have been there about two weeks now but I am very glad that I made this decision. I have noticed some changes in my health and mind. I no longer faint because of low blood pressure. I am getting up without an alarm clock (and it is early enough). I sleep very deep. My body is not cold any more. I am becoming more accepting and calm. The instructors are all very nice. Their approaches to yoga are different from each other. Their teaching styles also vary. But what it means is that I can always find a class that my body and mind need. Personally, I really enjoy (and learn a lot) in Lisa's and Laura's classes. I like getting feedback and correction so I really appreciate it. The studio is beautifully designed and is always clean. It is a great place to meet people, too.

My experience…read moreat HOTWORX stood out immediately because he was working completely solo and still handled everything like a pro: cleaning, vacuuming, bathroom upkeep, answering calls, helping curious walk-ins, opening the door for non-members with questions, and guiding guests without missing a beat. He also preheated and set up every one of my sauna sessions and had all the equipment ready to go. I've been to a lot of HOTWORX studios and have never had someone take that much initiative. Give this man a raise -- he absolutely crushed his job. The franchise itself keeps delivering -- infrared sauna workouts, 24/7 access, kiosks, day passes, retail gear, and tons of class options. Cycling and bands are still my favorites, and I especially appreciated the larger bike seats for bigger tushies -- a small detail that makes a big difference in comfort. Another thing I loved: every single sauna had sanitizer, wipes, cleaner, and towels set up right outside, so you can clean your equipment without hunting anything down or asking staff. The studio lighting is darker and easier on the eyes (no harsh overhead glare), the music is good, and the setup keeps you locked in. Add the back gym area and shower and it checks every box. Strong recommend for this location.

The instructors have a mad amount of experience under their belt, and push their students to the limits, all while having fun and feeling good after the class. All ages excepted and no discrimination allowed, come by and train or even work out in the gym, mind you this gym is not all glory with top of the line equipment. This gym was built around the old ways, sweat and iron. I've been to a large majority of gyms in town, and this is the one that's taking me back to the good ol days. People who are here are here to work, not play on there phones and get tans. Highly recommend.

Olivia one the other hand was lazy. she would sit there and be on her phone smoking instead of teaching. I've seen her also treat multiple children as if they were adults and should know everything they were handed. on top of all of this thier studio always stank. their silks smelled terrible and the whole back area smelled of feet. if you're look for a good instructor and a building that's actually kept up with I suggest going to aerial angels. the instructor there is super kind and doesn't make you feel bad when you don't know what you're doing. though it's more pricey it's better than getting put down every time you ask a question.
